"I visited Sanbe Onsen, known for its red waters rich in metasilicic acid and iron, as a quick dip into the hot springs. The open-air bath, which flows directly from the source, is a lukewarm 33 degrees Celsius, so you won't get too hot even in the summer, and it's a place you'll want to stay in for a long time. The Ota specialty, giant conger eel soba noodles, that I had at the restaurant was also quite delicious. I've heard the starry sky is also wonderful, so I'd like to return someday to enjoy the open-air bath while gazing at the stars."

"1. I booked two nights of accommodation on different platforms, but upon check-in, the hotelier failed to notice and gave me different rooms for both days. 2. When I met the hotelier again at the morning market, he didn't even remember that I was staying consecutive nights. 3. The room was infested with biting insects."

"👍 Good point (positive review) ✔ Nature と Scenery が Charming The panoramic view of Busan 々 is popular. Especially in the early morning, there is a voice that the sea of clouds and starry sky are beautiful. ✔ Relax in hot springs (open-air baths) There are many impressions that the bathtub is large and you can relax in a quiet environment. Hot springs are available all night. There was also an experience that I put it slowly in the rental state. ✔ High evaluation of cooking (especially dinner) There are many voices that the dinner meal and sashimi meal were "delicious" and "satisfied". ✔ Staff response is polite There are several word of mouth that the impression was good with the kind response. ✔ ご Couple ・ One-person Travel にも Praise There is an opinion that it is suitable for couple travel and solo travel because it is quiet and calm."

"Although the inn is located in an old townscape, the rooms have been renovated and have a lovely, clean interior. I was impressed the moment I stepped inside. I apologize for any inconvenience caused as I was staying with my 2-year-old grandson, but I appreciate the excellent service and warm welcome. Thank you very much. I would definitely stay here again if I visit Yunotsu Onsen again."

"It is my pleasure to add another praise to the Ryokan. They claimed not to speak English but in fact they did, even had somebody speaking it fluently : he became our “friend” ! As we travelled by public transport they came to pick us up at the station and dropped us when we continued our trip. On our second day we took a bus to the Silver Mine and walked back, and as it started raining half way we were soaking wet upon arrival. We were welcomed with towels and our shoes and coats taken away to dry. We got them back next morning, the shoes comfy dry and still warm. Thank you so much "

"This is the oldest inn in Yunotsu. When visiting a hot spring resort for the first time, I always choose historic inns and like to hear about the town's history and origins from the innkeeper, so I chose this one without hesitation. [Rooms] Parts of the building remain from the Meiji era. In recent years, the interior has been modernized and the number of rooms with beds has increased. I prefer traditional Japanese-style rooms, even if they are a little inconvenient, so I stayed in the "Kinnami" room, which has retained most of its Meiji-era design rather than a fully renovated room. However, this room was comfortable with a renovated bathroom, a table and chairs in the tatami room, an adjoining bedroom, and the air conditioning worked well, so there were no problems with the older room. [Food] Since I was planning a week-long stay, I figured the amount of regular ryokan meals would be too much for me, so I initially booked a room-only plan. However, after reading reviews of the inn and learning about its excellent food, I decided to book a one-night stay with two meals included. As everyone has said, both dinner and breakfast were truly delicious, and the tableware was also exquisite. However, because it was so delicious, it was impossible to eat the same amount every day, so from my second night onwards, I opted for lighter meals at nearby restaurants... (laughs). Many of the restaurant owners are young people who have moved here, and they always say, "Masuya Ryokan serves the best food in Yunotsu." It's clear that all these young chefs respect the head chef of Masuya Ryokan, and I thought this was a really great town. [Baths] Yunotsu Onsen has two hot springs, Motoyu and Yakushiyu, both of which are available as outdoor baths. Masuya Ryokan apparently draws its water from Yakushiyu. The bath area is not large and there is no open-air bath, but the water quality is excellent. This is a famous hot spring that is perfect for those who are particular about water quality and natural hot spring water. There is also a newly renovated and beautiful free-use private bath, making it convenient for people who require assistance and families with children. [Location] Located in a beautiful townscape designated as a World Heritage Site, about a 15-minute walk from JR Yunotsu Station, the inn offers shuttle service to and from the station. The hot spring town is small, so outdoor baths and restaurants are within five minutes of the inn. Ryugozen Shrine, where Yunotsu Kagura dance is dedicated, is located almost diagonally across the street. The Yunotsu Kagura performance was a powerful and magnificent piece of local performing art. Strolling around the hot spring town in a yukata was also enjoyable. [Access] The nearest station is JR Yunotsu Station on the San'in Main Line, which has few trains. It is a remote location, far from all major nearby points, including Izumo Airport, Iwami Airport, Okayama Station, Hiroshima Station, and Yamaguchi Station. However, this is precisely why the inn is located in a beautiful hot spring town that maintains its tranquility and elegance. I highly recommend this inn for anyone looking to enjoy a quiet, traditional Japanese hot spring experience."

"I made a reservation on the day. Check-in is located away from the inn. It was convenient as there were hot springs and restaurants nearby. The room is in an old Japanese house, so be prepared for thin walls and fittings. However, the air conditioning worked very well and the hallways weren't too cold, so it was comfortable. It was an inn I would like to use again if I have the opportunity."

"It's very close to the trailhead of Sanping Mountain, and the dinner is delicious with plenty of variety. The hot springs are also nice. Although it's a relatively old hotel, it's comfortable and reasonably priced, making it a good choice for hot springs and hiking."

"It's located near the center of the Yunotsu Onsen hot spring town. The retro atmosphere of the hot spring town is nice, and the hot springs at the nearby Yakushi-yu bath were excellent. However, the service at the inn was extremely disappointing. Yunotsu Onsen is inconvenient, so I think another hot spring resort would have been better."

"The old-fashioned Japanese-style building has a charming atmosphere and is very relaxing. Thank you for storing our luggage early. This allowed us to easily take a bath at Yakushiyu and stroll around the fishing port, which was very helpful. It's basically self-service, but amenities, a kettle, tableware, and other facilities were provided, so we were able to relax without any problems. The photo shows Yakushiyu, which is a one-minute walk away;"
