"The room was clean, the bed was comfortable. The staff were friendly at reception and in the breakfast room. We attended the NYE event and although I had requested to be seated with friends, this was not the case and we had to move tables and chairs around. The buffet food was ok although I think there should have been more set out as I queued for 40 minutes to get food. We were also amazed to be told, by a member of staff, that we could only have one piece of cake. At £50 per ticket we found this disappointing."

"this pub/hotel is situated in a beautiful spot near Delph; there are easy to reach walks amidst the beautiful surrounding hills. Oldham is close and a bus stop is just few minutes away from the hotel. There is a light breakfast at no extra cost included in the room price. Great find"

"Not the best hotel from the outside but the staff and rooms are great. Some sweets for the kids waiting for us in the room was a pleasant touch. Rowan and George in the restaurant were really good with the kids, kept them happy with their funny requests. Breakfast in the morning was okay, chef nathan cooked a good full english and we had a good chat about the football, but would have preferred a buffet over ordering. Would stay here again. Receptionist in the morning (didn't catch the name, young girl) said the new building is done soon, so will book here next time im down and see if I'm lucky. Would recommend if visiting oldham, close to the town centre and there's shops about"
