"The staff was friendly. We were upgraded to a better room upon arrival, which was a pleasant and unexpected surprise. There's a free, frequent shuttle to and from the beach. The breakfast menu is varied. The room has everything you need for comfort, including three types of loungewear. A luxurious spa area with complimentary ice cream. Umbrellas at the exit. The sister hotel, accessible via a bridge, has buffet restaurants (5,000 yen per person). The downside is that the hotel is located on a hill, so we had to walk uphill at night with our suitcases."

"Overall speaking, this hotel is value for money if choosing to stay in Onna Village. The ocean view is spectacular. We enjoyed it so much especially on the last day of our trip. We eventually had the blue sky and white clouds. The room is very spacious with a nice balcony! That's most precious for our holiday. Since it was early Nov, the outdoor pool was closed. We used the indoor pool which comes with a outdoor jacuzzi. That's so lovely. Regrettably, the indoor pool was not available to use until after 9:00am in the morning, that was so inconvenient for hotel guests. We normally can't swim after having a nice breakfast. There is an airport limousine at the main entrance of the hotel, that is very convenient for us because the hotel is located on the hill slope. We did not drive. So, we chose to book the limousine bus at the hotel concierge to save us time and energy to walk downhill to take the city bus after we checked out. Although it cost 5000 yens for the BBQ dinner, the variety of food is good. So, we were quite happy with the money spent on it. The breakfast buffet also provided a good selection of food especially a good selection of cooked food with local veggies as ingredients. It was worth spending HK$140 for each of us."

The service is flawless—attentive, warm, and genuinely thoughtful without ever feeling intrusive. The rooms are extremely comfortable, beautifully designed, and perfectly suited for a slow, restorative stay. The surrounding nature is stunning, and the resort feels well integrated into its landscape, which adds a lot to the overall experience. We stayed in December, and despite it being winter, the atmosphere was still incredibly pleasant and charming. The main pool does not operate in winter, but honestly, it doesn’t feel like a drawback at all—there is so much more to the property than the pool. Breakfast deserves a special mention: it is excellent, with high-quality ingredients and great variety. I highly recommend trying breakfast in different restaurants during your stay, as each offers a slightly different experience. Overall, Halekulani Okinawa is a refined, serene, and beautifully executed resort. A perfect choice for those who value comfort, service, and atmosphere over loud entertainment—even in the winter season."

And there is no water to provided so we have to buy and bring back some bottles of water everytime we come back to hotel room. We have stayed for 3 nights and tried to wash our clothes on 2nd night, the washing machine was not working at all!!!! It keeps saying there is ERROR. Since it's already the last two days, we couldnt be bother to reflect to front desk and just leave it. If I go Okinawa again, I don't think I will choose this hotel again."

"The room opens directly onto the swimming pool, which the kids loved. The room has a kitchen, and the hotel provides pots and pans. We didn't have a BBQ this time, but we'll definitely go again next time. The beach is about a 10-minute drive away. Shopping nearby isn't very convenient, so we recommend buying your supplies beforehand."

"Altın hafta (Mayıs 2024) sırasında 3+ yaşındaki oğlumuzu 2 gecelik bir konaklamaya getirdik ve ilk gece akşam yemeği büfesine katılmayı tercih ettik. Oğlum için yetişkin başına 2200 yen ve foc idi. Yemek çeşidi sınırlıydı ama tüm kuruşuna değdi çünkü dana eti çok yumuşak ve suluydu, bu yüzden ziyafet çektim. Diğer tüm yemekler de çok iyiydi. Özel plaj uygundu ve su o kadar berraktı ki maden suyuna benziyordu. Özel plajda muz botu turu için otel resepsiyonundan alabileceğiniz %50 indirim kuponu vardı ve oğlumuz bundan ve bir turdan daha keyif aldı. Hatta mercan resiflerine gitti ve oğlumuza göstermek için bir deniz yıldızı ve bir deniz hıyarı aldı ve sonra onu denize geri bıraktı. Su aktiviteleri indirimle uygundu, gittiğim Msia/Tayland/Endonezya tatil köylerine benzer bir fiyattı. Otelin yaşlanma belirtileri gösterdiğine dair yorumları okuduktan sonra bu tatil köyünü rezerve etmekten çekiniyordum. Ancak, yer iyi bakımlıydı.
