Holiday Inn Club Vacations AT ORANGE LAKE RESORT by IHG ★★★★

📍 8505 W Irlo Bronson Memorial Hwy

"We stayed two nights at the Holiday Inn on our way back from our Florida trip. The resort is huge, like a village. There are different "districts" with their own pools. We only tried out two pool areas. Both were nice, and the facilities were well-maintained. At one pool, you could rent inner tubes to float down the "lazy river." You had to buy the wristband for the tube separately for $5. Regarding our room: We had a small apartment with two bedrooms. The apartment was spacious and nicely furnished. Unfortunately, the floor was very dirty, as if workmen had been walking through it. This should have been checked beforehand. We didn't have time to test anything else."

"The hotel grounds are quite large and feature two swimming pools. However, the water in the pools felt unclean once we got in. Our room was on the first floor and felt quite damp. On our first night, we found a cockroach. We reported it to the front desk, and the staff said they could only spray the room the next day. Since we don't have much experience traveling and our English isn't great, we didn't take any photos. The next day, we found another cockroach, but despite reporting it again, no pest control was done. Also, the top lock on our door was faulty; it would often get stuck when we left the room, requiring us to jiggle it to properly secure the door."

Rosen Inn International Near the Parks ★★★
"Our go-to hotel in Orlando is always the Rosen Inn. It's spotlessly clean, conveniently located close to everything, and the staff are always attentive to any questions we have. We'll definitely be back with the family."

Universal’s Cabana Bay Beach Resort ★★★
"Reasonably priced universal hotel which provides early park admission. Room is comfortable. However, the room has poor sound proofing. There is constant vibration in the wall and one of the beds. The hairdryer was faulty and they took more than an hour after 4 calls for them to deliver a replacement. Front desk manager made it up with meal vouchers. Nonetheless, it was a decent stay but disappointing in several aspects."

Rosen Inn Lake Buena Vista ★★★
"The hotel's exterior is nice, but the interior is a bit dated and has a musty smell. They change towels and empty the trash daily, and a full room cleaning is done every three days. There's a shuttle service to Disneyland and Universal Studios, though the return shuttle schedule is a bit early. There's an outlet mall across from the hotel, but you need to call a taxi to get there, which isn't very convenient."

"No sidewalks for pedestrians. You’re essentially walking on the roads with vehicles. Unsafe. Concierge would also call several times for timeshares and then they would charged you for local phone calls or calls that they make to your room."
