"The hotel is not far from Daigoku Onsen Station, about a 10-minute walk. It's a traditional Japanese onsen ryokan (traditional Japanese inn), and because there weren't many tour groups there, it was quiet and comfortable with few tourists. The hotel looks a bit old, but it's very clean inside. Dinner was excellent, and the hotel service was good and attentive. The onsen was also very nice. I would definitely come back next time I have the chance."

"I stayed at the KAIJU Tsugaru. The hotel has a somewhat dated feel, with some facilities being a bit old, but it was still kept clean. If you need to book a pick-up and drop-off service before departure, you need to obtain a reservation number from the hotel and then register on their website; the process is a bit cumbersome. One of the hotel's signature features is its apple-themed hot spring bath, where apples are placed in the water, giving it a subtle fruity aroma. However, the actual apple-themed hot spring bath I saw differed somewhat from the official photos; it wasn't as beautiful as I had imagined, which was a little disappointing. On the positive side, there weren't many guests during my stay. Most of the time, there were only one or two people soaking in the hot spring, making it very quiet and comfortable, allowing me to slowly enjoy my soak. The service was also excellent; all the staff were very polite, and the overall service made me feel very welcome."

"Used on tour. It was already dark outside when I took the bus, so I was wondering where I was going to be taken, but it turned out to be a hotel at the top of a mountain. The size of the room was perfect, and there were three beds. The meal was a buffet and there wasn't a lot of variety, but I enjoyed a lot of local cuisine. It also included an all-you-can-drink option, so I was able to fully enjoy the hotel's unique wine. There is a wine tasting corner next to the front desk, and you buy a 1,000 yen or 2,000 yen card at the front desk and drink from the tasting machine. Since the price per cup is different and you don't have change, you have to be smart about the combinations. This was also quite fun. There are ski resorts and golf courses in the surrounding area, and the scenery is beautiful, so if you have time, I think it would be a good idea to take a walk around the area."

"Lovely! I am travelling around Japan by bicycle and pass by this hostel. The vibe is just good and you can meet other local people there. The owner is a very kind woman and thanks for preparing the breakfast for me :) Room is clean and onsen is warm enough. Highly recommend to travellers who have car or doesn’t mind to walk a distance:)"
