"Very beautiful place, Ozu itself as well as the hotel rooms and premises. I liked the fact that the rooms are located all across the scenic town. The hotel is easily reachable by bus or on foot from the local train station. The value was magnificent, keeping in mind that there's a lounge with free drinks included. In fact, I'm writing this while sipping Sake with my morning coffee. The rooms and bathroom are extremely clean. Also the oaken bathtub (call it, say, Ozu Oakentub) is an experience in itself. The staff go above and beyond accomodating all requests and speak English."

Hotel Ohta ★★

"It's not far from Iyo-Osu Station, about 10 minutes' walk. It was already 21:30 when we checked in at the hotel. The service staff also kindly informed me that the Wifi password is on the TV screen in the room. The only downside is that there isn't much choice at breakfast and the restaurant is a bit small."

"The hotel is super suitable for those who who aim for running away from modernization. And enjoy a peaceful moment of your own. Do remember you have to make reservations so that the staff will prepare dinner for you otherwise you need to drive a few miles to search for food elsewhere. The facilities are a bit aged but at least it doesn’t bother us from enjoying the stay."

"I loved Tomiya Kinbe-Tei so much! I was there for Aoshima, and decided to stay 2 nights at Tomiya Kinbe-Tei. The obaachan and ojiichan are super warm and friendly! The room is huge, and the bathroom has all the amenities you need. Obaachan’s breakfasts are also the best!!! I would definitely love to return to visit obaachan and ojiichan again. Thank you so much for taking such good care of me when I was there!"
