"The room is tidy and clean. Kitchen and utensils could be cleaner (and less oily). Great amenties. Netflix on TV. Free laundry on the ground floor, with washing powder and softener provided. The time to wash and dry is a bit long though. There is a balcony with only 1 ft width, but enough for getting fresh air and the view of yarra river. Good location to have a night walk around the port. Two grocery stores near the hotel. It is quiet but still located within free tram zone, so it's more affordable and very convenient to go out. Near the skybus station in southern cross station from or towards the airport."

"We had an awful experience which was we got a room key (room 630) that the room has already been occupied… We opened the room door, and someone was just right there which made my husband and I were shocked! And the room was really small that it barely can open 2 baggages. It barely can see yarra river view when the room is in level 5…"

"When I booked this room, the listing showed that it included a city view and a bathtub—unfortunately, I received neither. On top of that, there were no basic amenities like plates, cutlery, or even an oven or microwave to heat food, which is quite disappointing. The listing should clearly mention what is and isn’t included to avoid any confusion. I'm not sure whether the issue is with Trip.com or Vibe Hotel, but either way, it's very misleading. "Really good for the money. I usually stay in budget places because I'm trying to save money. This is really nice compared to some of the other places I've stayed for the same money. It is a little tired, but the bathroom was recently renovated and it was clean and nice furnishings etc. My tariff included breakfast which was a buffet of cereal, toast and a few cooked things (bacon, mushrooms, sausages, eggs etc). My only negative that it is on the corner of two busy roads so there is always traffic noise. It is close to a small shopping centre, and I had dinner at a nice persian restaurant across the road so those are all positives. There was parking when I arrived but it was quite full the next morning so I'm not sure whether it would ever be difficult to park."

"The hotel’s quite near to the tram station which makes it’s easy for you to travel around the CBD. No water provided so you have to prepare for this. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Great stay for a short visit!"

"Overall I had a great stay! My room was pretty cozy and the location was conveniently close to trams and Souther Cross Station. Amenities in the room were excellent (kitchen, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, heater, ironing board). Maybe bring your own slippers in winter as the tiled floor was very cold in the morning. Quite a few obvious wear and tear but overall still decently clean. The only thing that bothered me was one of the kitchen utensils was still dirty. If you are a light sleeper you would need earplugs as it’s quite noisy from the trains and trams passing by. Personally i enjoyed the background noise. I enjoyed my night ins in the room with access to the TV and to be able to cook / heat up food. Staff at the reception were all very lovely and welcoming. I would stay here again :)"

"We stayed in Room 1003 at Arrow on Swanston as a family of three—two adults and a child—for a short visit to Melbourne. The location was the strongest advantage, offering direct access to Swanston Street’s tram network and nearby restaurants and a short walk to our daughter’s student accommodation at Scape Swanston. The room itself was compact but functional, with a well-equipped kitchenette suitable for preparing simple meals. Although the space was limited, it was clean on arrival and the bed was reasonably comfortable. Housekeeping, however, was only scheduled once every four days, and we had to make repeated requests to have the room cleaned. Towels and toiletries were not replenished automatically and had to be collected in person from the reception. Elevator service was also a drawback—there are only two passenger lifts, which were often slow to arrive, and on multiple occasions, garbage bins were transported in the same lift as guests, making for an unpleasant experience. The sofa bed provided for our child was adequate for a short stay but may not be suitable for longer durations. Heating worked well, which was appreciated during colder evenings, and the kitchenette offered basic but useful amenities. Reception staff were generally polite and helpful when approached. That said, the room and some common areas appeared dated and would benefit from refurbishment. Overall, while the property felt slightly overpriced given the service and maintenance levels, it was convenient and met our basic needs for a short family stay."
