I had an excellent stay at this hotel. The floors were spotless and not sticky at all, which made the environment feel very clean and comfortable. The staff were responsible and responded quickly whenever I needed assistance. I also appreciated that they contacted me a day before check-in to confirm details and shared the location map with pictures —very professional and reassuring. The location is convenient for visiting tourist attractions, and the price is quite reasonable. Tip for visitors: WeChat is the main communication tool in China, so I strongly recommend activating your WeChat account before arriving. It will make communication and even payments much easier.

Highly recommend this hotel!! It is in the perfect location - actually in the same building as the observatory deck, so very convenient to dress up and go up to take some sunset and night pictures with the skyline. They have laundry facilities and provide soap. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. They don’t provide normal linen bath towels but instead provide disposable towels which is more hygienic. The girl at front desk was always smiling and happy to help. Other commenters says there is poor soundproofing and the A/C is loud but we didn’t feel that way in our room. We stayed for 6 nights and we are very satisfied. We got a normal city view room and still saw a bit of the river, but I saw the view from one of the river view rooms and it was beautiful! Splurge and get the river view if you can.

The location and hotel itself is very nice. We booked the most expensive room with panoramic view. In the morning, due to our schedule we had to leave early at 7:00am… we asked simply for 2 coffee and 2 boiled eggs or some pastries take away, having the breakfast included in the price of the room. The answer has been “we only have you coffee cause our breakfast start at 8:00am”… so you wanna tell me that the chef, if the breakfast start at 8:00, at 7:00 is not in the kitchen preparing the food?!? I believe anyone can do 2 boiled eggs… even the ladies who received us in reception. The attitude was very bad. We asked for an adapter… they said “we don’t have”. The service was really terrible.

Really nice hotel, new and very plush. Decor of hotel and rooms are very nice. Room was so large with many comfortable places to sit, nice looking out windows. Bed was little bit hard for us but ok. Linen is nice, towels nice, good shower, great amenities. Cleanliness was perfect, the cleaner was very friendly and pays a lot of attention to detail. Staff very friendly and helpful and proactive through messaging service in English. Nice having fresh fruit that was replaced daily. Breakfast was good with some options freshly cooked to order. Afternoon tea inclusions great but would be good to have some savoury options or alternate the sweets given. Would be good to have more information on English about bar or wine options. Room was very quiet. Location is great and central to get cabs around, just have to walk some steps from taxi but not far and they carry luggage but I feel sorry for the guy who has to carry them up and down the stairs. The place is really nice with a lot of character and very plush and comfortable and I would stay here again for sure. It’s much nicer than the very big hotel chains as there are only small number of rooms.

All the staff are very welcoming, polite and helpful. The room is very clean and comfortable. The only thing I don't like is the sound insulation. I can hear my neighbors turning on the taps and people talking outside my room. Overall the stay is value for money👍

Hotel itself is located in a superb location. It is in the heart of everything and we also spent our countdown to 2026 in Moxy hotel. It has this wonderful and beautiful rotating bar at the highest level, and welcome drinks are served there. We needed this room outside of its usual operating hour due to our red eye flight, and Lan Jian at the front reception desk was the most helpful and gave us the most wonderful assistance we needed. Thanks a million to him. Moxy hotel is very lucky to have him. Will recommend this hotel to our friends and family 👍👍

This is a really good deal Location is very convenient It’s not at the city center but at a local famous spot, So you got a sense of local culture while enjoying the city with full of places to discover. The metro is just next to it but DiDi is the best way to access around. Room is bit old as it got history but maintained in well shape Their services is the key to keep it nice. Friendly, helpful, efficient and they can remember your face even I’m just here for a short trip!
