The view from the hotel room was amazing! The room was very clean and tidy and the people at the front desk were very friendly and they helped us to find the hotel. It’s inside the scenic area itself and it’s very easy to get around. 酒店房间的景色令人惊叹。房间非常干净整洁，前台人员非常友好，他们帮助我们找到了酒店. 它位于风景区内，交通非常方便。

Nice sized clean room with an amazing view of the river and Fenghuang Old Town. We loved sitting on the balcony! Wong was very helpful right from providing instructions on how to get to the hotel, providing us with a map and details of getting around the town, and providing some recommendations. Highly recommended!

What a nice experience. The room was exquisite. We loved the terrace. The seats were very comfortable and we had a great view. Cherry on top we could see a fantastic show at night. We could also enjoy the sight of the dragon boat at night. Bare in mind that there is no pickup from the train station. But you can take the subway and they'll come and pick you up. If your party counts 4 members, I recommend taking a cab or a didi (just like the hotel recommended us). That said, we were given free rides to visit the city. They can also arrange a car for you to visit other sites (paying service). We had huge and high quality towels as well as disposable hand towels. The toilet was a washlet like the ones we have in Japan. The hotel was very clean. Unfortunately, they were some remodeling going on on the first floor when we stayed there and the smell of the solvent was unpleasant. They did not have enough sitting to accommodate proper sitting for everyone but we took our breakfast up to our private terrace and enjoyed it very much. The breakfast is a set breakfast. We could choose between 2 types of Chinese breakfast. I can't say that I loved the breakfast but it was nice. You can arrange it with many sauces, condiments and plenty of fresh chives and cilantro. You can even ask for seconds. The butler was very kind and helpful, as well as the rest of the staff as a matter of fact. They also have a washing machine that you can use for free but you have to take care of the drying yourself. My family and I got sick from a previous food intoxication and we were happy that we stayed in such a nice hotel. Fenghuang old city is very festive so it can get noisy at night but the terrace's windows are of very good quality, therefore it did not bother us much. It is possible that you can hear your neighbors though. All in all, despite being sick we had a wonderful experience at this hotel. We were happily surprised to receive a farewell gift. We definitely recommend the place and we go back to this hotel without hesitation.

Muse hotel has probly one of the best location not only with waterfront view, but also next to the beautiful Snow bridge when lighted at night, the effect is so amazing. The room deco is beatiful like a chalet effect with a timber pitch roof. The boss is very helful to give us advise on the local attraction and resraurants. He has helped us carry all our 5 huge luggages from the nearby carpark all the way to our 3rd floor bed rooms . He has also helped took us to the pharmacy to buy medicine in the middle of night when my sister fell ill. Best of all, he has even gone the extra mile to arrange and pay for a huge SUV to take us to the train station. You couldnt ask for more with a hotel boss like this. Highly recommended if you intend to go Fenghuang ancient town.

We are very happy to choose Xiangxi hotel to stay during our visit to Fenghuang. The hotel is easy to find and taxi dropped us in front of the lobby. Staffs are very nice, friendly and helpful. They gave us welcome fruit and maps and offering support throughout the stays. Rooms are clean and big. Breakfast is good with various local meals. When we are about to leave the hotel, they arranged drop off to station for free and even gave us some local food to bring. What a pleasant surprise. We really enjoy beautiful Feng huang while staying there. Thank you all Xiangxi staffs for giving us wonderful experience.

The hotel is next to the river, in between the double deck bridge where many people take photos and where there's a dancer in the middle of the river during night time. The balcony can see both. There was free hotel pickup from the train station and the hotel owner came to pick up us at the entrance of the city and help us carry our luggage to hotel. He was very friendly & helpful during our stay. Even the cleaning lady we met was very friendly in this hotel. We extended one night to this room as the previous one was already booked. Both room were very spacious with very good view from the balcony. We bought drink and food to chill in the balcony and for the view. I will surely book this hotel again if I come to Fenghuang ancient city again.

The service of this hotel is pretty good. The hotel will arrange for someone to pick you up from the train station and send you back when you are leaving. The lady at the front desk is very friendly. Hotel room is not big but it's functional. Certain parts of the room are slightly worn out. But for the price it's not too bad. There's a lift in the hotel and cars can go directly to the front door of this hotel so you don't have to carry your luggages and drag them in the town. About 10-15mins walk to the river. Overall pretty nice stay.

We had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The location is great—slightly away from the main tourist areas, so it’s peaceful and less crowded, yet still very convenient. There are plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby, making it easy to find food and essentials. The hotel faces the river, offering a nice view, and you don’t have to drag your luggage over any rocky paths—the car can drive right up to the entrance, which is a big plus. We stayed in the rooftop room on the 4th floor. While there’s no elevator, the staff were very helpful and carried our luggage up during check-in and back down when we checked out. The owner and staff were all friendly and accommodating, which made the stay even more enjoyable.

Pros: - nice room - clean - staff helped me carry my backpack to room and took me to where taxi pickup point was - location is centre to everything - nice views Cons: - at the top of a BIG hill (it says elevator is provided but it only brings you to the start of what are a VERY long climb of stairs to your room) - nowhere did it say the room would only be accessible via stairs (saying they have an elevator is very misleading), only because I read a review which mentioned there were stairs did I make a special request to have my bags kept at reception as I wouldn’t be able to bring them to my room. Even though I booked and made my request in advance (via Trip.com’s process when booking), they did not even read it so I had to deal with this problem once I arrived. - wiring in the shower (not sure if it’s save or not, but made me uncomfortable) - due to my tier level with Trip.com I was told I would get; late check out, room upgrade and free breakfast. When they checked me in and I asked about breakfast they told me that I didn’t have it included. After showing them I did, only then did they actually look at my booking - terrible. I then asked about the room upgrade as the hotel was not fully booked and they said that this was the room upgrade… it was not, this was the room I booked (which is fine, I just don’t appreciate being lied to when you clearly didn’t look at my booking). Overall thoughts: - if you only have one small bag that you can carry with ease, then it’s great - if you have large/multiple/heavy luggage don’t book here! You can get a day ticket to walk up the hill (where the hotel rooms are) for pictures of the view - Trip.com please get this hotel to actually look at the bookings made and to honour special requests and tier privileges where possible
