"Very nice hotel - centrally located The hotel is very clean. The room was big and comfortable with good amenities and very comfortable beds. Our room was clean and good. It was also possible to open the window a little if you want fresh air. The hotel is located «above» a mall, you must take the elevator to the 19th floor where the reception and restaurant is located. This was absolutely no problem, and the location is excellent. There is a vibrant and modern area around the hotel. It’s not close to the railway station, but catching taxi or even bus is easy. The breakfast was very good and had a nice selection of Chinese food. Tasty and fresh dishes, and nice service from the staff in the restaurant. The service of the staff in the reception was very good. We stayed for two nights, first one and then we returned again because of the good service and overall quality of the hotel. The staff didn’t exercise much English, but with the translation apps it’s absolutely no problem to communicate. If you have WeChat it’s super easy to communicate - the hotel has its own WeChat. BoLi Hotel provided a very good experience and we can truly recommend this hotel."

"The location is wonderful if you need the train, as it is literally just outside the train station, less than 10 minutes' walking from your train. We needed the day room to rest between the morning and evening trains, and it works well for us. However, there are some issues we did not like. 1. We booked and paid through Trip, but at the receipton (we checked in early, which was great!) the receiptionst requested 100 rmb, which he said was a deposit that must be paid on the spot, and will be refunded in the morning. This was suspicious to us because nothing of this sort was stated on Trip, and no other bookings in China we made through Trip ever required any deposits, even less so in cash. When I showed him the original booking and payment, and insisted that we are only taking the room for the day, he stopped insisting on the ”deposit.” 2. The room used to be very nice, indeed, and preserves some of that niceness still: the bed is wonderful, with crispy linen, multiple different pillows, and very clean. the bathroom is nicely decorated and contained basic amenities, and the storage space is wonderful and spacious. However, like in some other Chinese hotels we stayed, the indicators of maintenance are the shower and the carpeting. In this room, the bed is super clean, but the bathroom and carpeting are either poorly cleaned, or not at all. We found hair and even a wrapping in the shower, while the carpeting in the room, elevator, and corridors was not cleaned in a long time. And yet, there are some such nice touches in this room, like the living creeper placed in a small vase in the bathroom, or the very nice wardrobe. The room is currently missing a fridge (although there is space for it), and it has not AC, although the corridors are cooled well. Instead, there is a fan, which in the afternoon heat barely helped."

"Excellent location which nearby to Xining Railway Station if you plan to take train to Tibet. The reception is very polite especially the staff 皓东哥managed to help us for last minutes request. The cleanliness & breakfast are excellent, modern design, amenities is great and convenient location."

"This hotel was great. The rooms were spacious, clean, and the beds comfortable. The A/C worked and you couldn't hear noise from the hallways (well-insulated). The translation capabilities were lacking, but you could make do with your own app. Breakfast and dinner were great. If i came to Xining again, i would stay here."

"I absolutely loved my stay here. The staff are helpful and kind, they have plenty of water and even tea. But the real gem is the room layout. It's so clever, cute and comfortable. A rarity in Xining, this room is also air-conditioned (necessary in summer). The bedding is so comfortable. The view is lovely. The shower has great pressure. The location is ideal! Two small things: the room smelled like smoke when I entered, and I would prefer that hotels didn't contribute plastic waste by using disposable towels."

"This hotel is very well located in the city centre not far from the railway station. The rooms are modern and clean. I was very impressed with the efficiency and helpfulness of the receptionists. I arrived wall before check in time on the first day after a long, overnight train journey. Yet my room was already available. Like most hotels in this price range in China it would be good if someone at reception could speak English. The breakfast was well prepared, the kitchen efficient. Although the selection of food was limited. And no coffee or tea."

"Very nice and polite staffs especially Miss Huang. Hotel is very near Xining train station, view from hotel room is great. Easy to flag a taxi from hotel, there is free use of washing machine which is great for our dirty laundry. I got a free upgrade and gifts😊 Hotel provide very clean slippers in the bathroom, bathroom and toilet is separate Highly recommend this hotel will stay here if I visit Xining again 👍"

"The front desk staff of the hotel called us before we arrived at the hotel. When we arrived at the hotel, the front desk's service attitude was also very warm. The room also gave fruit and yoghurt. We also accepted breakfast and dinner time. The room was very clean. It was very close to the railway station. It was also very convenient. It also helped upgrade the room type. "住的挺不錯的，這次來玩了一大圈，最後一天在西寧歇腳，總體各方面都滿意，到酒店後海濤提前聯繫了我幫我安排好了車位省了我找車位的時間很感謝他。辦理完入住後房間也是非常的乾淨整潔。得知我沒有訂早餐專門給我送了一份早餐。味道也好，種類也多。非常不錯。美中不足的一點就是沒有洗衣機，需要送到外邊洗。但不影響，下次還會來的"

"We started our final China trip form Ürümqi followed by Turpin and Dunhuang. While our hotels there were reasonable, we felt really comfortable when we stayed at at a Club floor room at Sofitel Xining.
