"酒店離火車站很近，我們拖了大大小小的箱子，選這家太明智了。
是老房子改的民宿，沒有電梯，需要自己提箱子上樓。房間很大，也挺乾淨。
最讚的是他家的早餐，是用菜單點單的。非常好吃。他家的晚餐必須要訂座。這次大意了，沒提前預約，沒吃上。如果有人再去，千萬記得要預約 要預約 要預約！重要的事情説三遍。"

"My husband and I stayed here in one of the larger posh 4-poster bed rooms for 2 nights nights. It is an ideal location, being a very short walk from the village high street, across the road from the harbour with beautiful lake views, but tucked high enough away from any street noise. And because it's a proper hotel, the room we booked was large enough, and even had a bidet. There was adequate parking, a lovely full English breakfast buffet, and a fancy bar and restaurant onsite. The only downside was that the lift was broken, so we had to climb to the top floor many times a day, and construction was taking place on site, but that was quiet for us as our room was around the other side of the building. If you're there in the dead of summer, there was no AC. (Just a heads up in case you're from the states and used to it all hotel rooms) Not currently any pool or hot tub at the time of typing this.
I would definitely consider staying here again and would recommend it to my friends. 👍🏼"

"The YHA is situated between two lovely towns, Ambleside and Windermere, offering the perfect opportunity for a variety of walks. The staff were very helpful and polite, and the view from the hostel’s patio was breathtaking. Our room was spotlessly clean, and the beds were very comfortable. Thank you – we had an absolutely fabulous time!"

"Room was a good size. Plenty of parking available. Swimming pool was nice. Nice view of the lake from the gardens. Very friendly staff. Lovely food. Pleasant gardens. The lounge was relaxing with nice sofa .
Some minor issues:
Lack of shower pressure ， toilet wouldn't flush properly, blood stain on the floor of the toilet, took ages to get hot water through for showering"

"Absolutely amazing stay , as soon as we arrived everything was great and customer service was brilliant . They even upgraded us to a room with a hot tub for my husbands birthday. Spa was lovely and even on the checkout day can use it to 1pm which was a nice bonus. We ate in the restaurant and the food was excellent and so good only had to walk 30 seconds from our room. Will definitely be back to visit again!"

"My wife and I stayed at Burn How for 4 nights. Immediately we found the staff most welcoming and friendly. The pleasant atmosphere was maintained at breakfast throughout our stay. The spacious room- with everything you might need- was part of a block of chalets set romantically amongst some beautiful trees. If we return to Bowness we will look no further than Burn How for accommodation.

"This house was built in 1850. This house can be checked in through a password. The bed is soft and comfortable, the room is very warm, and the hot water is sufficient. It is a little bit far from the railway station, but very close to the lake. A good trip experience!"

"This was the second time my husband and I stayed at this luxurious new resort style hotel in/near Windermere. It was part of a longer trip, and again we stayed in the posh Winander Suites keyed access building. Breakfast is great as you get to eat from both the breakfast buffet, and also order hot food from the menu. The staff here are always 10 out of 10 excellent for both in the spa and the hotel itself. A couple of them even remembered us from the year prior! It's great having so many dining and drinking options on site... one never really needs to leave. I really enjoy the keyed access for the Winander and additional for the room hallways. There is parking on site and a guard at the gate. I know we will continue to visit here for many years to come!"

"從公交車上下來走到酒店，要經歷一個很大的坡，如果是自己旅行不是是自駕的話不是很推薦（尤其是拉行李箱的話）沒有電梯需要staff幫忙搬行李。由於是自己出行，所以定的是單人房，在官網上查我記得單人房是一共有三間，被分到的這間窗景朝向不是特別好。但內部設施都比較新，看起來也比較乾淨，尤其是洗手間的淋浴間還是比較滿意的，空間比較大，洗護用品非常喜歡，入住也有送小餅乾零食和一瓶礦泉水。春夏的話，酒店官網上有一些划算的offer，預訂前可以對比看看。另外就是大家很推薦的早餐，是點餐制，當時觀察到窗邊有座位，詢問兩次staff遭拒，第三次一邊説oh my god一邊很不情願幫我換到窗邊，所以服務態度扣一分，但窗景很美。總體來看比較推薦solo背包黨入住，或者雙人預訂signature room."

HHebaodanpusa非常值得推薦的一家酒店，感謝男女主人的熱情接待，早餐很棒。自製蛋糕令人難忘。
房間：二樓卧室套間，房間面積不大，佈置的很温馨，窗外景色很好。每天會打理衞生，補充耗品，但是不提供拖鞋等用品。 房間的淋浴間的水不是很熱，這點希望改進。
位置：離車站走路10多分鐘，要上下坡。距離湖區主要的公交大約10分鐘路程。距離温德米爾中心也是10分鐘左右。位置很幽靜，相當不錯。
早餐：很好吃，英式標準早餐，提供酸奶果汁咖啡麪包，全套英國早餐，還有店家自製的各種蛋糕、派。是這家店最值得推薦的地方，為男女主人的手藝點贊。

Rrockylee1、酒店位置很好，走路去遊船碼頭也就10分鐘之內，附近餐廳非常多，食宿都很方便。房間很大，還有一個客廳，出乎意料，但客廳一側在床邊，旁邊就是街道，早晚有些吵，特別是英國車速一般都比較快，要略注意。早餐是提前準備的麪包酸奶麥片牛奶之類，有的在冰箱裏，有的在儲物櫃裏，不要有太大期待。
2、自駕過來的話，和前台要一張停車卡，每天3英鎊，無限停車，有好幾個位置可以停車，其實很方便。離開的時候，可以先去停車場開車，回來的時候把鑰匙和停車卡放前台就可以。

設施：床品温暖，毛巾雪白，免費氣泡水、歡迎牛奶。有熱水壺，床頭USB插座。
餐點：早餐七八種套餐可選，全英式的非常豐盛，甚至可以選擇低卡咖啡、低卡茶！
服務：房東很和善、紳士，會用漢語講「煎蛋」、「荷包蛋」哦。

MMisafir KullanıcıRum Doodle, well it was our first time at The Lakes and it certainly won't be our last! The location was just right with being part way between Windermere town and Bowness and was walkable to both. There were plenty of shops, bars and restaurants in walking distance as well as lake Windermere itself.
We found Rum Doodle with ease and was greeted at the door with a smile and friendly man (the owner but didn't catch his name). We were bought a fresh glass of apple and orange juice to our room which was refreshing after a long drive to Windermere. Our room was comfy, not too big or too small, a wardrobe, seating in the bay window, hairdryer, hot drink making facilities, wine glasses with cork screw and bottle opener. Very modern, clean and well presented bathroom with soft and fluffy towels, and a really nice shower. The bed was very comfortable and welcomed after a busy day exploring the surrounding area.
Breakfast was really good with cereal, fresh fruit and yogurt, toast, and then a choice of breakfast which were great too.
We had a pleasant and informative chat at breakfast with the lady that works there who gave us the heads up on some driving routes to try and avoid which was really useful.
After a day out exploring we went back to Rum Doodle to a cleaned room and freshly made bed with the tea and coffee replenished, so we were able to just drop and the bed with a nice cuppa and biscuit. Then out for a walk, some lovely food and a couple of drinks.
We couldn't recommend The Lakes and Rum Doodle enough! Well worth every penny

MMiranda☺️I recently stayed at the Woodlands Hotel in the Lake District, and I was very pleased with the experience. First of all, the breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of options including fresh salmon, which was a nice touch. The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable, giving it a homely feel. The hotel is also in a convenient location, with a nearby bus stop that makes it easy to reach the main attractions in the Lake District. Overall, it’s a great value hotel with attentive service. Highly recommended!

MMisafir KullanıcıThe Macdonald Old England Hotel is well situated, being just a stones throw from the lakeside and the shops in Bowness.
The staff are friendly and obliging and the service matches their attitude.
The breakfasts are fine, although the staff can sometimes be a bit slow in replenishing the tureens.
We did not use the Spa, so we cannot comment on that.
Overall, we found the hotel to have all the facilities that we were lookling for and we would be happy to stay there again.

SPA facilities has not been used, but seems not bad. Suggest to extend the closing time till 8 PM or 9PM to facilitate visitors after the sightseeing around Lake District.

I was most dissatisfied with a male waiter, his attitude was particularly bad, I suspect he was a racist, his attitude was really bad, I have stayed in so many places in the world in hotels and B&Bs, this male waiter's attitude was the worst, I entered the staff area is my fault, but I entered from the restaurant, there is no staff only to enter the prompts, the male waiter kicked me out like a dog, I felt I was insulted.The waiter shooed me out like a dog, I felt insulted, it seems that the quality of the British people really needs to be improved.
