I had booked and stayed for 2 nights with my wife and parents, everything (such as service, location, atmosphere, the condition of the room, etc…), we were very satisfied. So we have decided to prolong one more night, and we were very happy. Last year my wife, I, and my parents stayed at Tentrem in Jogjakarta, and we were satisfied. Last month my parents with my siblings also stayed there (Tentrem in Semarang) for their trip and they were satisfied as well. If I really have to put something a bit pity: - The ‘entrance’ of the basement parking is a bit small for the car - The air condition (the temperature) during the breakfast was a little bit hot. Beside those two, we were very satisfied 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

An experience worth coming for and coming back to. The Gumaya serves as a reminder of what quality service can become when great products are handled by great people. The rooftop bar offers exquisite views, and friendly staff tend to your every need. A staple since the early 2000s for families and solo travelers alike, the Gumaya evolved into a quality offering in a sea of competition for the best 5 star in Semarang. Clean and spacious rooms with a good view either side, tasteful decor, and a comfortable overall experience. Breakfast was Lucious and plentiful, easy parking, and central location to explore Semarang plus the added taxi convenience makes it an all rounder

New hotel in Semarang. Location is really good because it’s at the center of the city. Room is big enough for the prices. Very small balcony in every room but can be useful if you need to smoke. No closet, no water bottles, but you can ask the operator to jug water to your room. Breakfast service needs to be improved. It’s a la carte, not buffet. Service for breakfast is under average. But the receptionists have good service. Parking area is limited and it’s very small, but vallet is provided.

Good location, hotel a little old but clean. Complimentary mineral water is restricted to 2 bottles only with only basic in the bathroom (shpoo n shower gel plus tooth brush n tooth paste). Requested for ironing board and iron that took around 45 min n 1 reminder

If you're looking for a place that offers exceptional cleanliness, high quality, a seamless experience, and fantastic service from the moment you arrive, I wholeheartedly recommend it. Very good hotel! I would come again. Great location, and great service. Morning breakfast offers varied options as well. Room was big with comfortable bed and pillows. However, it is not perfect. I suggest the hotel management to do deep and chemical washing of the toilets. My room toilet looks grimy and the grout was yellow and dirty. Better care need to be looked into. As for the location, it definitely in a good location. However, it is not a tall hotel with only 5 levels. Hence you will be able to hear the sounds from the road, as well as calls to prayers (as early as 4am). Also, the hotel is next to a big field, and hosted some events. At 6am, they were hosting some exercise group and their microphone was loud. It was not a good nights sleep. Suggestion for the hotel to upgrade and insulate the windows. All in all, I would come back again though. Hope to see many upgrades in the future.

Close to the train station. AC is perfect. Nice inner courtyard. But bed linens were with few spots and only 2 power sockets were available.

Large room and bathroom. Kettle and mini fridge provided. Water dispensers on every floor. Plenty of storage. Good aircon and decent WiFi. Rooms are similar to an Ibis design. Good location, close to shopping malls and about a 30 minute walk to the old town. Wonderful staff, very kind and helpful. Nice pool area. It's on a main road so it was noisy at times.
