Havaalanına gitmeden önceki gece kısa ama keyifli bir konaklama geçirdik. Geç saatte vardık ama check-in sorunsuzdu ve resepsiyondaki kadın hoştu. Yanlışlıkla kanepe yatağı yanlış odaya yaptılar ama gece geç olmasına rağmen aradığımızda hemen düzelttiler. Dört kişilik bir aile için küçük ama konforlu oda, harika bir kahvaltı. Havaalanına gitmek için tren istasyonuna kolayca yürüyebilirsiniz. Kesinlikle tekrar burada kalırım ve merkezi, temiz ve makul fiyatlı bir konaklama arayan ailelere tavsiye ederim! Keyifli bir konaklama için teşekkürler!

Perfectly acceptable hotel room, nice bathroom. 15 mins into the City Centre on the tram/tube that's 5 minutes walk away. Amazing spread for breakfast. Very nice staff at reception/restaurant and cleaning/maintenance staff. Lovely Thai restaurant opposite.

A beautiful room but experienced a number of disappointments. Hotel guests must pay a supplement daily charge to use the swimming pools AND book at designated time slot. I have NEVER experienced this at any hotel anywhere in the world. I was in a premium room, but this policy applies to all guests, which I think is awful. It was also impossible to get a spa appointment during my stay. Zero preference given to hotel guests. I strongly suggest you book spa treatments at least a week in advance of your arrival. Also, there is no turndown service, unusual for a highly priced 5* hotel. Housekeeping also finishes very early, or isn’t interested in guests who don’t align with their schedule. I had to work in my room but left at 2:45pm and it was not cleaned despite signalling the room needed making up. The reception team were polite, but chaotic. Generally, the hotel restaurants seem more focused on catering to outside guests, which is a shame.

Home Hotel Bastion'a 26/5'i silip 30/5 ile değiştirmeyi teklif ettim, ancak kabul edilmedi. Sorun şu ki, ABD'den ayrılmadan önce isteğimi mesajla bildirmeme rağmen Trips.com buna izin vermedi. Our family of four spent four nights at the Scandic Byporten and found it to be an excellent choice for our city adventure.The biggest highlight is undoubtedly the perfect, centralized location. Being directly connected to Oslo Central Station is a game-changer. Arriving by train was effortless, and getting around the city—whether by tram, metro, or on foot to sights like Karl Johans Gate—could not have been easier. We appreciated the clean, functional, and quiet rooms. They provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay after busy days of exploring. While the rooms are modern and practical rather than overly spacious (typical for a central city hotel), they were perfectly adequate for our family. The breakfast offered a fantastic variety, fueling us up each morning, and the staff were consistently friendly and helpful. They even provide disposable cups to take away coffee!

Simple hotel, yet clean. Staff are very helpful. Location is easy walk from the train station through the shopping mall, but it is not exactly near the center of attractions. Breakfast is simple but very nice (really love their croissants). Appreciate the breakfast pack given by the hotel for us also; since our train to Bergen is very early in the morning 🙂

For our stay, we booked a studio apartment at The Sweet. The room was lovely and kitchenette was well-equipped. We were able to cook meals there over the days of Christmas when most restaurants and shops were closed. The location is a little outside of the center- nice and quiet but easy to access public transit. My biggest issue with this hotel was that communication was very… odd. As the booking notes, I called the hotel in advance to schedule my check-in. When my call was answered, I told them who I was and that I was calling to schedule my check in (for a time when the booking said check in is available). I was told no one would be at reception at that time (3pm on Dec 23) and they would text me instructions for how to check myself in. Then she confirmed my phone number and asked for my email address, but when I started to give it, she said, “oh, that’s ok. We can’t use email anyway”. Odd. Before getting off the phone, I had her confirm that I would receive a text the next day with instructions to check in. Our train arrived around 2pm in Oslo and we still hadn’t received a text, so we waited at the train station thinking perhaps they would send the text right at 3pm since that was the time I had requested. At 3, I still hadn’t received anything, so we called the hotel again. A different employee answered from the one I had spoken to the day before. I gave my name and explained that I was calling because I had scheduled check in the day before but hadn’t received the information to check in. The employee asked where I was and told me that there were people staffing reception to help us check in, which I thought was odd because the previous employee told me no one would be there. When we got to the hotel, we rang the bell and got into the building, but reception is apparently in the basement- there is only a very tiny sign that says this- so we missed it and I called them again. A man came up with our keys and got us set to go. We got into our room and it was lovely! About 5 hours later, I got a call from Trip saying that the hotel is trying to contact me because they are wondering why I hadn’t checked in and they don’t have a way to get in touch with me. I was sitting in the hotel room when I got this call. I told the Trip representative that I was checked in and it was fine for her to give my phone and email to the hotel. I know the communication elements have taken up a huge portion of my review and I know they are not the end of the world, but I want to share them because I believe it would be quite simple to avoid situations like this in the future and make the guest experience that much more pleasant at The Sweet. We greatly enjoyed our stay at the hotel overall and thoroughly enjoyed exploring Oslo!

Bir kez daha çok hoş bir şekilde şaşırdım ve takdir ettim. Son notum, lobide her zaman mevcut olan ücretsiz çay ve kahvenin yanı sıra servis ettikleri muhteşem açık büfe kahvaltıya değinmek. Bu oteli yeterince tavsiye edemez!

Bir otelden çok pansiyona benziyor. Otelin güçlü yanları arasında, ana istasyona yaklaşık 200 metre mesafede, caddenin hemen karşısında bir metro istasyonuna çok yakın olması yer alıyor. Metro istasyonu ayrıca Oslo Ana İstasyonu'na sadece iki durak uzaklıkta. Oda çok uygun fiyatlıydı (Kuzey Avrupa için harika bir fırsat). Odada küçük bir buzdolabı, mini mutfak ve mikrodalga fırın vardı, ancak biz kullanmadık. Duşta ıslak ve kuru alanlar ayrıydı ve su basıncı çok yüksekti, bu da duş almayı çok rahat hale getiriyordu. Olumsuz tarafı, yangın alarmı akşam 8 civarında aniden çalmaya başladı; bu inanılmaz derecede sarsıcı ve kalp çarpıntısı yaratan bir durumdu. Giriş işlemleri telefonla self-servis olarak yapılıyordu; bunun için depozito ödenip oda kartı aktifleştiriliyordu. Otel çok nazikti ve iki ayrı yatağa ihtiyacımız olup olmadığını sordu ve bize iki adet çift kişilik yataklı bir dubleks oda verdiler. Ancak bu oda çok dar bir merdiven çıkmayı gerektiriyordu ve büyük bagajlarla bu çok zordu. Alt kattaki kapı her kapandığında, sanki biri bizimkini itiyormuş gibi hissediyorduk.
