"Honestly, we had the best time at Funny Lion Resort! From the start, everything felt top-notch. The staff were super friendly and accommodating, always ready to help and just really made us feel welcome.
There were so many complimentary perks too, which was such a nice surprise. It felt like they really went above and beyond to make the stay special.
What I loved the most is that the resort pretty much has everything you need—you seriously don’t have to leave. There are activities, great restaurants, a cozy coffee bar, and more all right there. We didn’t even feel the need to go out and explore because everything we wanted was already in the resort.
The whole place has a super relaxing vibe, perfect for just chilling and enjoying the moment. It was such a good escape from the usual busy life.
Would 100% go back—and probably will, again and again. Can’t recommend it enough!"

"Overall, hands-down the staff are top notch in the quality of service with one exception on the front desk staff when I arrived at the hotel.
The hotel is a lil run-down. My room wasn't well-lit. Although I didn't need much of the internal light. I only needed to open the window curtains during daytime.
Water pressure? Good enough. Temperature? Good enough. Toiletries? Not much, although I think it's a move to make it ”eco-friendly”. I appreciate that instead of water bottles, pitchers are provided and a water dispenser by the hallway is available. No complimentary coffee/tea. TV? Forget about it, channels are few you are better off using your Netflix.
Bed? Warm and comfy. Towels? I think some of the towels need replacement.
Lobby? Good enough if you have visitors.
SG? Very polite and would always open the door for me. They even offered if I needed a ride to the airport (which I did)"

"The experience over all was amazing. We truly enjoyed our time in this hotel. The staff were very accommodating (they did need to switch us rooms though cause the first one had an AC with a bad smell) but without hassle they changed us and everything was fine. I think if the ac doesn’t run for a while they can do that. The pool was absolutely great, we spent most days in the pool at least once. I did wish it had a bit of shaded area over the pool itself but the water temperature was just right and so relaxing. The breakfast had a lot of choices and was very delicious. We had some lunches and dinners there too which were all great as well. There is a very cool 360 roof bar with a happy hour, though it was disappointing that the front desk info said it included cocktails and beer for happy hour but we were told beer only for happy hour prices when we went up there. The location and the views are just stunning from wherever you look and it’s truly peaceful. It is a bit far away so you would want a motorbike or car rental, which we did have so it wasn’t a problem for us. It was one of the most relaxing stays we had in the Philippines and we would definitely go back! :)"

"The room was basic, but for the price paid it was fine. The shampoo in the bathroom was empty during my nights stay which was a shame.
My biggest issue was the cleanliness of the communal areas. The tiled floors were filthy and covered in clumps of hair and dead insects. Inside the room, cleanliness was better, but there was still stains and marks on furniture and the walls.
Staff were kind and allowed me to have my breakfast at a later time than I’d booked."

"We recently spent a few nights here and overall, it was a decent experience. The cleanliness of the hotel was good, although I did notice that the chairs in our room could use a vacuum, as they had some dark stains. Additionally, the room’s smell could be improved to create a more welcoming atmosphere upon arrival.
On the plus side, I absolutely loved the mattress and comforter; they made for a very comfortable sleep. The location is a major advantage, being right in front of the mall, making it easy to access shopping and dining options.

He seemed to lack communication skills, as he didn’t greet customers or smile, which detracted from the overall experience. I think he could benefit from some additional training in customer service.

"Gerçekten güzel bir tesis. Temiz, modern, hiç dolmayan birkaç güzel havuz ve personel inanılmaz. Tek sorun yemeklerdi; çok emek veriyorlar ve her gün çok zengin bir kahvaltı büfesi sunuyorlar, ancak yemekler o kadar da iyi değil. Her gün temizliyorlar ve dışarıda bir tur attığımızda odamız yeni havlularla çoktan temizlenmişti. Otelin güzel tasarımını ve kahvaltısını çok sevdim, ki bu iyi. Akşam yemeğinde sınırsız makarnalarının tadını çıkardım. Son olarak, kasabanın tam merkezine çok yakın, yürüme mesafesinde. Sadece kapı kilidiyle ilgili sorun yaşadık ama personel çok hızlı bir şekilde düzeltti, bu da mükemmel. Kesinlikle tavsiye ederim!

1. Sözde plaj büyük bir gelgit düzlüğüdür. Sular çekildikten sonra her şey çıplaktır, yengeçlerden başka hiçbir şey yoktur.
2. Güvenlik görevlileri aşırı gergin ve belirlenen yüzme alanı dışında suya girmenize izin vermiyorlar, üzeriniz sıkı örtülse bile denizanası ve taş balıkları var diyorlar.

Check-in was smooth, they even upgraded one of our rooms because they werent able to give us 2 adjacent rooms because the whole floor are fullybooked. Free breakfast are great, varying everyday. They also were attentive in giving all of our needs. Pool service also provided towels. And dont forget to book massage because it was great. They also have van transfers available, just message the hotel on their page. its 250php per way. You have to get it or else you will pay 700php for a tricycle ride. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel. It is a 10-minute tricycle ride to the town.

CCris R.I went on a 13-day trip around Palawan and Coron was my first stop from Cebu. In Coron, I stayed in Dayon Hostel. I was alone for the duration of my three-night stay in the six-bed female dorm. You can choose to lock the door at night for security. I made sure that I turned off the AC every time I went out.
The restrooms are clean especially the toilets although the shower rooms need to be upgraded as some showerheads do not function that well. It will also be nice if they do a thorough cleaning of the shower rooms and the sinks as they looked dirty and unkempt.
There is a restaurant on the rooftop but the options are limited. If you exit through the back, it leads you the main road where you will find a wonderful cafe that serves good sausage meals. There are also several local options available if you want affordable options.
The price I paid was worth the quality of the stay. The hostel is known by tour operators and guides and so it was not a challenge when it was time for pick-up and drop off.
I loved the staff especially when I had to leave early in the morning to head to the port for my trip to El Nido. They arranged my transportation and made sure that I left the hostel on time.
Will I go back? Maybe not and it's not because I don't like it. It's just that I felt that my next stay should be in a private room for another worthwhile experience in Coron. But for those solo travelers on a budget, Dayon Hostel is your best bet in Coron in as far as affordable sleeping option is concerned.

AAnonim KullanıcıThis place is fantastic! Location-wise, it’s really great. It’s very near the city’s commercial establishments and great restaurants - 5-minute drive on average. It’s also near the airport. The neighborhood in which it is in is very quiet and peaceful. So if you want a place that’s very accessible but still in a quiet location, this hotel is for you.
I also would like to commend the staff - they’re all very warm and friendly. They were very accommodating and gladly answered all our questions about our travel.
This hotel has a resort vibe so you really get to relax. It has great amenities, a lovely pool, and a relaxing main reception hall with a billiard table and comfy couches. It also has an in-house restaurant which is great for those who don’t want to go out to dine. Our room was very clean, cozy and surprisingly large for its price.
We would definitely book this place again when we visit Puerto Princesa in the future. Definitely worth the price! 🫶

Her odada klima ve gerçekten iyi olan bir su ısıtıcısı var. Yatak rahattı ve odada buzdolabı vardı. Herhangi bir yere gitmek için tuk tuk'a (yolculuk başına 150 peso) binmeniz gerekiyor ama benim için sorun değildi. Gerçekten sevmediğim şey yemeklerin fiyatıydı. Filipinler'de normal bir yemek için gördüğüm en pahalı menüydü, süslü bile değildi ve gerçekten ortalama bir tada sahipti. Sadece bu yüzden burada tekrar kalmazdım. Ama genel olarak odalar fena değil.

The pool was great, perfect for a swim or just chilling out in the sun. It's well-kept and a nice spot to relax.
We loved the on-site resto/cafe. I had an americano and it was on par. It was a great place to start the day with its super cozy and welcoming vibe.
For fun, they have a dart board and a Pinoy pool table. We had a blast playing both in the mornings with my family.
Overall, Microtel Puerto Princesa was an amazing experience with its great location, awesome amenities, and fun activities. Highly recommend it for a laid-back seaside getaway!
