"I will be leaving this review as average (not very extraordinary). Previously i have stayed in Ibis-Budget hotels, so i have idea how economic they are and accordingly what can we expect in return. However this time i chose (non-budget) in a hope to get better than budget option. May be i had higher expectations, i am not too sure. However, there were certainly few things which were important to mention. I stayed in Room No. 10 on 26 March 2024, and found out that the shower sewerage was blocked, hence water was accumulated in the shower area. Informed hotel administration, and the staff just said she has made a note of this. Afterwards didn't see any action. So couldn't take shower before checking out. This was one of the major issue i faced. Rooms were average (almost same if i was staying at Ibis Budget). Nothing too bad, nor anything extraordinary to be fair. However breakfast options were good and i must admit that they had good variety of buffet items they were offering. They have got their own secured parking for customers, so this is a plus point. Overall i shall mark my stay as average."

"The room was smaller than it appeared in the photos. In the photos, there was space on both sides of the bed. However, the room I was assigned had no space around the bed, so it was much smaller. On the other hand, the temperature in the room was very low, even when plugging in the thermostat which otherwise made a lot of noise. In fact I had to sleep with a coat on and I was still cold. I am not a cold person, so someone who is may have a lot of trouble sleeping. Also, the room had no lock. I heard other rooms did have it, so I guess it would be mine. Considering the thinness of the door and how basic the lock is, I didn't feel very safe sleeping on it. There was a lack of cleanliness in the bathroom and in some areas of the room. And finally, the noise and discomfort of the pillow did not allow me to sleep all night. There was noise coming from everywhere. When booking this hotel I was expecting a basic Ibis Budget type concept, but nothing like that. The only thing that saves this hotel is the attention from the reception, which has very pleasant staff. Otherwise, I would not return to this hotel no matter how cheap it was."

"Bad choice ! I had booked this hotel for 5 nights, but I left after one night; The room was not properly heated. An electric radiator was started upon my arrival. The room was very cold the first 6 hours. The door lock to room 339 was broken. It meant that the door was very difficult to open. One time I had to give up to get out of the room, and wait until later. It did not feel well to be locked up in the room. There was garbage om the safety stairs. The ceiling had moisture damages. There was no WiFi available. When asking, I was advised to find a bar with WiFi. Breakfast was not offered on some days. I found another hotel 800 meters from this. Cheaper and much, much better. I asked for s small refund for the 4 more days, I had paid for when leaving. I was told no refund would be given at all !"

"A very beautiful property. Unfortunately, nothing is invested in maintenance, nothing at all! Everything is full of cobwebs, old cobwebs, old bird droppings. Really disgusting! The beautifully designed pool is so dirty, with old bird droppings, etc., that we didn't use it, just like the patio. The loungers by the pool are also all filthy. We'd better not even mention the fitness room, it's tiny, very old equipment and dirty. Breakfast on Saturday and Sunday is very spartan, no eggs, vegetables, cheese, yogurt or meat. Just bread, butter, jam from the supermarket, on Saturday three small pieces of melon and juice. From Monday onwards, eggs, bread and tomatoes. It depends on who is working or wants to work, and the latter is generally not very common. The room itself is very nice, big, the bed is comfortable, and the bathroom is also fine. There are (old) cobwebs in the room too, though, and the carpet is anything but clean. Of course, the South of France is and will remain the South of France, maintenance is not the greatest strength. We also do not expect the same standards as in Switzerland and yet, we ask ourselves how the high rating has come about so far, which is absolutely incomprehensible to us."

"On Saturday, 4 June 2022, I stayed with my wife at Mercure Perpignan centre. After a drive of 14h. We arrived at 7.30pm and quickly put everything in the room to have dinner in the neighbourhood. After dinner back to the hotel to take a refreshing shower. I was surprised to find that the drain was completely clogged...so washing at the sink. Then I started to look at everything and this was totally not what we expect from a Mercure! I was shocked. Dirty, dirty... I mentioned this when checking out. But had to pay whatever I did. After contacting the customer service, nothing happened to date. I have waited over a month to write this review to give customer service and Accor hotels a chance to rectify this, unfortunately."
