"Honestly, it's really not easy to have a national chain hotel in this area! My boyfriend and I were on a road trip along the Taihang Mountain Highway No. 1. Since we arrived at night, the surrounding area was mostly guesthouses, with hardly any hotels. I was quite surprised to find IU there! The overall hotel environment was nice, but because we arrived so late, the hot water for showering wasn't very hot at night, just lukewarm. The next morning, the water was still very hot, which was nice. There weren't many places to eat or shop around. There was only one restaurant downstairs that partnered with the hotel, and the prices weren't cheap. Plus… we ordered a plate of scrambled eggs with scallions for 20 yuan, and the eggs weren't even cooked through; the middle was half-cooked, and there was no salt in them… It was a disappointment."
