"Air con worked but was a little noisy. Room had tired decor, was damp smelling and just about adequately clean. Breakfast wasn’t very good value, perhaps with the exception of the sausage and bacon, you could tell they used cheaply sourced ingredients. There were flies laying eggs on display items also which just put me off - they didn’t appear to have a fly exterminator in the restuarant"

"Our stay at Harbour Heights was extremely enjoyable! . From the greeting we received from the reception staff on our arrival to the equally warm farewell when we left. Our  room was very comfortable & larger than your typical standard room. The bathroom well presented, the bed very comfortable bed and all other facilities in the room perfect (I was very impressed to find an iron and ironing board). We were very impressed by the breakfast and found the restaurant manager very lovely and helpful. He kept a very tight ship, ensured that everything was replenished the moment it ran out and the staff who worked with him were equally pleasant and very helpful. Pre-dinner drinks and dinner on the terrace was terrific, and what a view! The hotel as in great condition, everything looked newly updated, corridor carpets very clean, wall tiles, bathroom fittings etc., of good quality ., The hôtel was very clean and modern, whilst still retaining its original character. This was our first visit to Harbour Heights but will certainly not be our last. A most wonderful location for a short break,! "

Premier Inn Poole Centre (Holes Bay) Hotel ★★★

"Premier Inn has been going down in standards for a while but this was the worst yet. Expensive and very poor service. The bed gave us both a bad back to start with. We only had one towel in the bathroom. When I spoke to reception to say no one had been in our room to replenish tea etc ( which was sparce anyway), I was told I had to request these services. Then on Sunday we went for dinner to be told we should have booked and would have to wait an hour. We watched x8 couples/ families told the same and turned away,even although there were many tables free and staff standing around. The food was dire when they eventually got the order right. Everything looked dirty and run down. Worst experience ever."
