It's awesome! The rooms are large, with sea views, close to the beach, the environment is beautiful and clean, the rooms are fully equipped with microwaves and utensils, and there are many tables and chairs. Breakfast was generous and parking was free around, but parking spaces near were not easy to find. A boat ride to Benagil Beach is also easy.

Thoroughly enjoyed our second visit to Vila Vita, it's a wonderful hotel, and we found more things to enjoy. For our family it was perfect as there are so many activities to do - pool, beach, sports, health club, children's holiday club, relaxing. There is wide range of on and off site restaurants, which are all great. The rooms are very comfortable and the family room with an extra bedroom and garden terrace suits us to enjoy our evening while our children sleep. And finally you are looked after extremely well and in great comfort.

Booked a 3-night twin room to attend a friend's lecture in Lagoa. The hotel, or better, motel is excellent for those on wheels, not for those on foot. If you have disabilities find another town in the Algarve. Some sets of stairs do not have rails, you have to go round the entrance to physically 'get in'. The reception has only 1 staff member when off-season, be prepared and do it all online. Forget questions about taxis, transportation, and restaurant advice is really subjective. The room was very comfortable, the second door to a set of stairs (curled) with direct access to the car park/entry of the hotel area was not. Cold and humidity pass through the doors (front door leading to corridor inside as well), as doors need maintenance. Breakfast is good and varied, for all tastes, except gluten-free options. Internet signal very weak, had to use phone data package. Check-in is only at 4pm. Pro's. besides what I already mentioned: bus terminal 5 min walk, good restaurants each way 5 min walk (one is just next door), supermarket passing the roundabout, beds very comfortable. You can walk to the centre (10 min walk) but the town is without interest, unless you are there for an event, for those on foot, you can stay here and get to know other nearby cities in the Algarve by bus, as the terminal is so close, and it is not expensive to go around by bus.

Wow! Where do I even begin? Firstly, this place needs more than 5 stars, easily 10 stars minimum. Apologies for the long review, but it's hard not to say so much So lets begin... From the moment I stepped out of my transfer and layed eyes on this beautiful and absolutely stunning hotel, I knew I chose the perfect place to stay during my little solo relaxing getaway. I then walked into the main lobby of the hotel and again WOW! Stunned by the beauty of the reception area, but then I was graciously welcomed as I arrived, which made me even more so happy of choice of stay. The beautiful lady at reception was just so warm and welcoming, making me instantly feel at home. Once she checked me in, I was offered leaflets that were very helpful in activities whilst I'm here and other necessary information. I then proceeded to my room and continued to be stunned from the beauty of the rest of the hotel. It is a 4 star hotel but my personal opinion should easily be a 5 star with the amount of care and how much they do for you the definitely what feels like they go the ends of the earth and back to make you feel welcomed and just important ☺️. After that the lounge area for sunbathing, the swimming pool, the restaurant/ bar stunning, then they have a relaxation sections where you can do and relax with a book or something, they also have a meeting area if your a business on stay. Then you have the spa area from all massage rooms to steam and sweat rooms, then a small but great little gym to work out in. The rooms WOW! So as I came in, I switched on the TV, and there was a greeting screen saying, ”Welcome in Portuguese and with my name. Again, stunning, absolutely amazing, comfy, and spacious for just me. I have been sleeping in a king-size bed with fluffy and melt in your head pillows, and I have never felt relaxation like this before. Now food breakfast, let's start there incredible a all you can eat ranging from all types of cereals, oats, granola and museil to mixed nuts, then you have a section for continental food such as pastries, pancakes, mini donuts to chocolate covered ones (each day different), then you have hot food proper crispy bacon, Sausages, 3 types of different eggs, beans, cheese topped tomatoes, beans etc you get the idea. Then, the machine has freshly squeezed jucies to a lovely coffee machine and other hot beverages. Then we have the evening meals and wow again incredible and so tasty 3 course meals every night whilst waiting for your meal you are given a small taste bread board. The presentation for everything is amazing and eye worthy. What I truly like is that it's open to the public. Also, whether you're a guest or not, you can enjoy a spectacular breakfast, lunch menu, and evening meal. Just returned from a 3 ball golf Trip. Played Faldo and O'connor twice each. First off, this place isn't perfect, but value for money you cannot have any complaints. We were more than satisfied. O'connor was a decent resort course. Tee boxes on some holes were poor and some of the bunkers are not up to scratch. Tee boxes do not stop you hitting a decent shot. Crap lie in a bunker with no sand?.... Move it! who cares, this isn't a professional tournament. Overall the O'connor is not bad. I wouldn't include it on my trip back if wasn't already part of the package but still good. Shout out David from Denmark who joined us on our last day and participated hugely in a 4 ball scramble. 9 under. Not bad Faldo Course. This course is fantastic. Much better maintained to that of the O'connor, although still some ropey tee boxes. Very tough course in 40 mph winds and even more difficult when still slightly drunk from the night before. This course I would Happily detour off and play again. True test of golf that will hurt complacency on the back 9 especially. Hole 10 the one of the toughest holes I have ever played. 495 yards par 4 that is usually into wind. We were very lucky with Buggies as clearly they do not have enough. On 2 occasions we got the last two buggies which meant anyone booking in their round after us, would have had to wait. Pace of play was always very good. Surprising really but only got stuck once on the Faldo after we caught up on the 12th hole. After a really poor 14th by us, everyone dispersed again and smooth sailing there on after. For the most part you feel like you are the only ones on the course. Shuttle service was good, although only one driver most days but wasn't really an issue. Resort itself - 2 bedroom apartment we stayed in was excellent. Really well looked after and modern throughout. Staff couldn't have been more helpful. Some more quieter than others and some clearly new to their jobs but the intent to help was always there. We managed to move one days golf and bring it forward as weather forecast for the Thursday looked miserable. Lady in pro shop was very helpful and happy to accommodate. Luckily we did as Thursdays weather was horrific. Food decent enough and not bad value for money. Lunch we had at resort but for dinners we went into Albufeira or Vilamoura. Top tip - Download Uber and use these for travel, much cheaper. Breakfast was nice. Lots to offer and no complaints here Negatives - No supermarket on site. For a self catering resort, this is stupid. Pool closed October. Not sure we would have made the pool anyway as weather wasn't the best. Location - Middle of nowhere. Will need cabs and Ubers for travel. Bunkers on O'connor in particular are poor. Tee boxes on both not great on some holes. Some cabagey rough areas around greens, not many. For all he negative reviews knocking about, I was very nervous about this place as it was me that picked and organised this trip. I didn't want to let the boys down

I stayed here for a week the room had a problem with shower toilet headboard and glass partition on balcony none of the above bothered me as I still found the hotel to be basic but alright, however I am gluten free, whilst they had special guests stopping they couldn't cater enough so first three days where brilliant, when the special guests checked out the gluten free bread cakes and quasisnts were no longer an option the gluten free sausages were also not an option, I asked staff which were rude and said if have issue raise with reception, I found it easier to buy my own bread for the rest of the holiday and just have beans from the breakfast buffet, would have definitely recommend to coeliac friends and family however seems they can only cater when they have special guests which is ashame

We took advantage of the hotel's proximity to nature, embarking on leisurely walks and hikes that allowed us to connect with the peaceful surroundings. It was the ideal way to escape the hustle and bustle of the work world and reconnect with nature.

I would use one word to describe this hotel -Paradise. We came as guests and the staff treated us so well, we left as friends. We had our wedding at the Bricia Du Mar and it was prefect. The location for a wedding is what we dreamed of. The hotel is low rise and like a little village with beautiful rooms and a stunning pool area. There is a fantastic gym and spa also. What Raquel, Pedro and everyone else did to help us was above and beyond what you would expect from a hotel. They say they are not wedding planners but what they did to help us arrange our wedding was incredible. This a family run hotel and you can see the care and attention they have to make the hotel a success as it is quite new. Everything is spotlessly clean and such a calming wonderful environment. Our wedding went without a hitch and the attention to detail was incredible. All the staff at our wedding were genuinely happy to be there from the chefs to the bar staff and waiters who couldn’t do enough for us. Go to the Benagil cave, about 10 minutes by car. The whole hotel is similar to a small resort. It was a bit similar to the one I stayed in Las Vegas. The living room is very large. I did not try the restaurant and the pool. The front desk was very welcoming and cost-effective.
