"We decided to try the Adelphi for lunch as it was my daughter's birthday. We assumed from the website information that there would be main courses served as well as a sandwich option . However, when we arrived we were told that it was a sandwich menu only. So, we ordered steak sandwiches. What a disappointment when they arrived - two pieces of sourdough with some strips of steak in between, no garnish of any kind, not even a few crisps! The bread was burnt and impossible to cut with a knife. I spoke to the waiter who could not have been more understanding and he sent for the manager. She too was very courteous and apologetic when she saw the meals. She agreed to adjust the bill. I explained that I thought for £18 per sandwich this was unacceptable. The hotel is beautifully presented and the staff are most pleasant. What a pity about the food. I also must add that we paid £24 for two glasses of red wine. Surely these prices are too high?"

"Wonderful hotel. Nice decor, cosy atmosphere in the lobby which is completed by a nice bar area. Did not get to try out the restaurant which looks nice. Hotel room was beautiful, wonderfully kept and functional. I very much like the dark green colour used in the room. Would definitely recommend if you’re travelling to Portrush. Not many amenities but that’s to be expected as it’s in the city centre. Good job!"

"The staff were very warm and welcoming, friendly, helpful and professional too. Dunluce lodge is based on a beautiful part of the Northern Ireland coastline and it was easy to visit local tourist attractions from this base. The sunset on our last evening was stunning. The hotel is very new, only opened last year so it still has a very new feel and everything was in immaculate condition. We had a beautiful spacious room with dual aspect, could see the sea and the famous Portrush golf course. It was very peaceful except for the odd morning chorus from the local seagulls! Great service, very warm welcome, lovely food and drink - we will definitely return."

"This hotel is looking very tired.  The room was a comfortable size but had cobwebs in it and was generally run down.  Not helping matters they have very limited close by parking meaning we had to park some 10 minute walk away in the Council parking lot.  Front desk person was nice but overall the hotel needs some upgrades"
