"Upon arrival, the staff insisted that I paid for a twin bedroom, which is not correct as the amount reflected on the proof of payment corresponds a double bed room. I was then told that no double bed is available, after ten minutes it was suddenly available. It is disappointing that I had to verbally exchange with the staff so that I can get a room that I paid for. The staff attitude thereafter was also not nice, we stayed because we paid and there’s no refund policy but in all honest truth, the stay was unpleasant."

All the meals were outstanding and the friendly and helpful staff made this an unforgettable experience. "We are from the West Coast and this was our 1st stay at Bushmans Rock. The photos does not do it justice. Honestly this lodge is breathtakingly beautiful and so well cared for by friendly staff and security. I had to prep for a show and the chef prepared all my food to specifics and they even let me practise my intro walk in their venue. This is one place who I could ask for all the help I needed to prep and they assisted with the utmost friendliness. We loved our stay and wished we could stay longer. An absolute recommendation to families with kids as they have a secured and well equipped play area. The restaurants food was amazing and our room just perfect. Thank you for making this a memorable stay and our go-to place for future trips to Pta."

"Small establishment. Very obliging staff. In protected Waterkloof compounds. A bit labyrinthical and with slightly fatigued installations. Lots of stairs. Nine rooms in toto. No eating facilities, that is dinner, but a decent bar and excellent pricing for the sumptuous habitat. Decent breakfast and garden views and greenery in a slopy landscape. Fine vista across to the hills. Private garage at no extra price"

"NOISY PLACE. You won't be able to sleep as people run around on the corridors laughing and banging doors. Unbearable behavior . The room smells urine in the bathroom,it is also stuffy you can't breath nicely . The rooms have no plugs to charge the phones. They still use old plug options. They need to upgrade that . Also the chef,please please reduce the use of oilm Everything I had was swimming in sold. Mushrooms,omelet,porrushers,bacon,tomatoes I mean the oil use there is a lot guys. I had to wipe my food with service to reduce that oil. I wish I didn't pay for breakfast cos I didn't enjoy at all"

"⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had an absolutely fantastic stay at this hotel! From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm welcome and outstanding service. The staff were all incredibly friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Nothing was ever too much trouble and they made me feel genuinely valued as a guest. The rooms were excellent, spotlessly clean, well-maintained, and beautifully furnished. The bed was so comfortable, I slept better than I do at home! Every little detail was well thought out, making the room feel like a perfect retreat. The restaurant service and management deserve a special mention, definitely 5 star. The food was outstanding with generous portions and excellent flavour. And let me just say, if you're a coffee lover, this is one of the few places that knows how to make a proper double strength cappuccino. The coffee was rich, smooth, and top quality an absolute highlight for me! Overall, this was a truly great stay. I would recommend this hotel in a heartbeat and can’t wait to return. Thank you to the entire team for making the Mpumalanga Boxing Team feel so special and the visit so memorable!"

"My stay in Pretoria was amazing and the support I got from this Guesthouse was remarkable. Their rooms are always clean, it was warm, and the reception was incredible. It was very safe too. It was easy for me to get around because I would always get advice from the receptionist. For the price I paid, I got exceptional good care. It was home away from home!"
