"Very nice hotel and very friendly staff. We were warmly welcomed and there was always someone available via whatsapp to help with any issues. The room as such was beautiful, lovingly furnished and the sea view was fabulous. As there were only a few guests in the hotel at the time we were travelling, we even had breakfast delivered to our room. A highlight. An absolute recommendation."

"The hotel is near the sea, on Chiaiolella Beach, which is a 200-meter walk from the hotel. The port is about 3 km away; we took a taxi to the hotel, but it can also be reached by bus; the bus stop is 50 meters away. We had a ground-floor room with tall windows. It's small and furnished with the bare necessities—quite basic, I'd say—but clean and welcoming, in keeping with the style of Procida. Breakfast was good, especially the sweet treats (coffee and cappuccino can be ordered from the vending machine or at the bar, which is a significant plus). All the hotel staff were friendly."

"We give Vento Di Mare 5 stars because we cann't give them any more. In fact we would give them 10. What a great location, what a beautifull place with eye for detail and such friendliness of all staff. We stayed here end September for 2 nights and would any time stay here again when returning to the lovely Procida. We have nothing negative to say about Vento Di Mare: great communication prior to our stay, friendly welcoming on arrival and a spotless clean appartment with the promised amazing views on the port with very comfortable beds. Appartment is well maintained and still looks brand new. The balconies were perfect to enjoy the views or to watch the port. Great location in a street with great bars, restaurants or rental places. There is no doubt, we will definately come back to Vento Di Mare in the future. Thank you to all staff for a very welcoming stay with amazing friendly service in such a beautifull spot!!!!!! We hope to see you again very soon."

"I have just returned from six nights at the Solcalante Hotel. The hotel is in a beautiful position and has lovely views from the terrace overlooking the island of Ischia. However, it is totally let down by the management team. This hotel is run by those who are very lacking in any people skills. They are non- communicative and unfriendly. They did not even give us eye contact during our whole visit. Fortunately their staff were kind and hard working. Breakfast staff and cleaners were very helpful. They kept the rooms and pool clean and tidy. Two events were held at the hotel during our stay (without any prior warning) and we were asked to leave the pool for a private function. We were restricted from the bar area or able to sit on the terrace. ( reserved notices were left on all of the chairs/loungers). These parties were large and very busy and noisy. We felt we had to go out even though we had planned a quiet evening and to have dinner at the hotel. There is only one restaurant in walking distance from hotel. ( 10mins walk). The events were on Saturday 14th ( 4pm-very late) and on the Tuesday ( 12-6). When I complained to one of the management team he was very rude and said “We had only booked a room at the hotel not a pool”. This was totally incorrect, we booked bed and breakfast with all the amenities the hotel has to offer. I am 68 years old and my husband and I have extensively travelled. We have never come across this bad attitude before. Also the hotel advertises having a sauna and massage services, there were no evidence of either. Also the solarium is a neglected empty roof space over the hotel rooms."

"I reserved two rooms for my family. To visit in August. The rate I chose said free cancellation and no prepayment until 14 days before my stay in August. I had confirmation of this from an email from the hotel and from their own website. Carlo, from the hotel, writes today stating that if I did not pay in full today my reservation would be cancelled. He had no justification to do this except “hotel policy” and that they can choose who to cancel. I sent him the email confirming (from their own hotel) stating their policy. I had screenshots from their hotel website stating that they do not collect payment till the visit. He would not budge and told me I had a hard time “following directions—either pay today or we will cancel.” They cancelled on me."

"We enjoyed Calacala one hot July night, after having read the excellent reviews about the place. I must say the atmosphere, the welcome, the professionalism of the waiters, was perfect. The wine list is excellent - including local Ischia white wines that you hardly find anywhere. Now the food: portions are small. Even for the welcome snacks - you get 3 superthin grisini for 3 persons with a sermon that they are made using pure virgin olive oil. The antipasti are sophisticated and really good and imaginative, and the "primi" were all perfect, even better than perfect. The spaghetti with lemon & urchins was one of the best things I had this Summer - you see the guys in the kitchen doing the complex assembling. But there is a big flaw on the mains (or "secondi"). Honestly. We took the "Cala Cala Fish & Chips", which was just a scandal: a handful of mini gamberetti and three mini-thrings of calamari plus basic potato chips. It was basically a streetfood "cuoppo" on a plate for 25 euros trading as something fancy. Sorry, no. Equally, the "coniglio" was good but a very standard and simple dish, basically rabbit in a tangy tomato sauce (small portion, too). Nothing to fall off your chair. Desserts were excellent and saved the overall experience. And as I said, very discrete, friendly waiters, who all spoke excellent English."

"We were more than happy with everything about B & B Prochytea! The host Giacomo made us feel at home and helped us with everything and made exelent breakfast server in The beautiful Garden. Room was clean and spacious, location was very convenient. We will Be back for sure"

"We had dinner in this building on Monday 8 September and we were really impressed by the excellent food, which was prepared for us by the cook Leonardo we met at the end of the evening. But the chilli on the cake, it was the linguine with alice and green peppers. All perfect, we will certainly talk to friends about it. Thank you."
