As a family we have been going to protaras for about 20 years . We arrived on the 4th May and this was our 2nd time staying at The Constantine Great Beach Hotel and the standard of the housekeeping has declined dramatically compared to our 1st stay. This hotel states that it is a 5* hotel but unfortunately if they allow the maid service to continue as it is then they will lose there rating. On several occasions we were having to ask for towels,toilet rolls,tea and coffee and to have the milk replaced in our room.The maids were saying that they had done it but when checking again they hadn’t so having to chase the maids to get them to do there jobs and then being tutted at for asking for the things that they should be doing. We stayed for a week and in that week we didn’t get clean sheets,but they did make the beds. There was a clump of hair on our balcony which stayed there all week so it proved that the maids didn’t sweep or mop the balcony,dirty glasses were left for about 3 days until they removed them,rubbish was left on the balcony nearly all week . The final straw was when I went to use the UHT milk that they leave in your room for a cup of coffee . When I opened the milk it had gone hard and mouldy so I went to the reception to complain and make them aware of this. I had also filled out one of there questionnaire which I had pointed a few things out to them. The final straw came when I asked if I could have my money back for the late check out fee which was 30 euros because of the things that I had complained about. The front of house manger Maria said that she would ask the hotel manger. After leaving it for about an hour or so I went back to the reception to find out what the manger had said ,Maria said that he had said no which I replied was not good enough because of all the things that I had complained about,the next thing that Maria said to me was uncalled for and very very rude she told me that the next time I visited cyprus was to go and stay at the illiada hotel as though I wouldn’t be welcomed at the Constantinos , I replied to her by saying how rude she was and how dare she talk to me like that as I was a paying guest. I found the hotel manger and explained what had happened and he said he was going to sort it. If you are thinking of staying there and are expecting a 5* hotel expect to be disappointed as in my experience it is bearly reaching a 3* hotel and will continue to decline if they don’t sort out there housekeeping staff.

If your looking for an excellent adults only hotel to chillout and relax then Ayia Napa Suites are 2nd to none. Exceptional staff providing an outstanding hospitality experience from morning breakfast service right through to late night cocktails, this coupled with lovely spotlessly clean smart rooms and the best view in Ayia Napa will not be beaten for value for money. Big shout out to all the wonderful staff who couldn't have been nicer and made our week break in the lovely October sunshine one to remember for years to come. We will definitely return to this hotel for years to come. Fantastic freindy destination for a good holiday made to feel welcome by the,bar staff Tommy top lad, always greeting you by name.which must have been difficult for him, good few sue& Paul's food absolutely delicious full English breakfast and smashing Cyprus chips,👍👍👍🍺🍺🍺 Cyprus 🍺🍺🍺 well worth the price refreshing.family owners who go out of the way to, make the experience of the nappa prince,a holiday never to forget very friendly staff domestics , reception helping you to sort out any problems,in my opinion you will never be getting.pool towels supplied snacks just ask, with the keen staff, stayed out late one night and missed our breakfast, got offered a cheese toastie,that's how kind the Nappa prince is, very happy quest's who returned year, after...who mix and are very happy to see everyone new and old,,,our apartment room 101 b,,, block, overlooking the gardens...sue is on her way to hays travel and booking,,a 3week stay for next year, only a 40 minute slow stroll to the square,if you wanna be a party animal 💫🙈🙉🙊🍺🍺👍👍 prince as a good selection of people who are thier to enjoy the holiday , highly recommend the nappa, prince thats why we can't wait to get back

The hotel is new, modern and spotless clean. What is lacking is the client service during the stay. There seems to be the rule: the hotel management is king, not the customer. 1st “incident”: booked “Deluxe Sea View Room” (see picture). The sea I only saw when standing on the balcony looking sharp left around the corner of the privacy fence. First statement of Reception: this is sea view. Discussed further 15 min, received sea view room. 2nd: We (3 colleagues with 3 rooms) invited 2 colleagues who stayed in another hotel to our pool area. They were sitting on our sunbeds. Maybe for 15 min we used a fourth sunbed. Pool bar staff immediately came and stated rudely “visitors are not allowed here, you have to leave now”! Discussion with guest relation manager kind of fruitless. She only admit that the personnel should have approached us nicer.
