"Pros: Excellent staff, very polite and welcoming hosts. Excellent location: the metro is literally right next door (2-3 minutes), Pivnaya Street with snacks is just 2 metro stops away, and all the sights are a maximum of 20-30 minutes away. Cons: The room is really tiny, the ceilings are low, so don't book it if you're claustrophobic. It's somewhat manageable with a window, but it occasionally feels cramped and like you can't breathe. A good option for 1-2 nights, but for longer stays, consider another option. Note the entrance (last photo); it looks like a store entrance, but it's actually a hotel."

"The overall hygiene was good, very clean and tidy. They also prepared a welcome fruit platter and a coffee voucher. When we went out during the day, housekeeping would clean the room, and when we returned, it was neat and tidy. The hotel is right next to the Grand Theater, and there's a free parking lot for the Grand Theater downstairs, making it very convenient to come and go. It's also only a 5-minute walk to Shilaoren Beach."

"The air conditioner was constantly dripping and parts of it even fell off. The facilities are very old, and the hygiene conditions are terrible. There were hairs on the bathroom linens, and the shower ceiling was discolored and patchy. The bed was uncomfortable and didn't match the hotel's price point. If it were priced around 400-500, it might be acceptable, but for the actual price, it's definitely not worth it. The hotel service was good, but the hygiene and facilities are a major concern."

Overall, it was really great; the room facilities were complete, and the dining options were quite diverse. The staff were polite, friendly, and responsive. The space was tidy and clean, the facilities were new and well-maintained, and the environment was quiet and comfortable. The overall quality was excellent. I'll definitely choose this place again next time."

"The family room layout was incredibly practical, with one large bed and one small bed – perfect for a summer vacation. The bedding was comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent. The large floor-to-ceiling windows made the room very bright. The bathroom had a double vanity, which made getting ready in the morning a breeze. Check-in was quick and attentive. The breakfast offered a great variety, with freshly cooked noodles and toppings that changed daily. The mini croissants in the bakery section were delightfully flaky, and the coffee was freshly ground. There were also four or five kinds of fresh fruit. The hotel's gym, dry sauna, and wet sauna were big bonuses. The floral arrangement in the lobby center was unique, and the lobby roses were absolutely beautiful. The hotel is close to the North Station, only a 20-minute taxi ride away. The facilities were comprehensive, parking was convenient, and it's near Li Village Night Market, offering plenty of dining and shopping options. Overall, a very satisfying stay!"

"The guest rooms are fully equipped and functional, with a very large bathroom and shower; the rooms are clean and tidy, and the bedding is clean and odor-free; the interior of the guesthouse is very beautiful, making it suitable for a family vacation; parking is convenient, right in front of the courtyard gate; the service is warm and attentive, just call if needed, and oven-baked bread is available."

"This was our first time staying at a family-friendly hotel. Even though the Wyndham is a bit out of the way, we still decided to come, and it was absolutely fantastic! My child was practically skipping with excitement from the moment we arrived. The front desk staff were very gentle, and when we checked in, the manager even offered us iced water and proactively pressed the elevator button for us. All the children's facilities at the hotel are super kid-friendly. My only regret is not getting to try the buffet. The room was also great, very clean, and completely noise-free. Before we checked out, the front desk even gave a small gift to my child. We were truly sad to leave and hope to have the chance to come back again!"

"Facilities: Absolutely five-star hotel facilities, and the hardware is well-maintained. The front desk gave me a connecting room, which was very convenient for taking care of my elderly parents. Much appreciated. The swimming pool is definitely a highlight, with both hot and cold plunge pools in the changing rooms. Cleanliness: The housekeeping staff cleaned daily and replenished drinking water promptly. Environment: The lobby environment is excellent, elegant and grand, and prices are reasonable. Location: Situated on Hong Kong Middle Road, Qingdao's most bustling CBD. It's within walking distance to May Fourth Square, and a small door from the lobby leads directly to MixC Mall. Extremely convenient. Breakfast: A wide variety of options; my favorite was the smoked salmon. However, it gets quite crowded during peak hours, and the seating arrangements are a bit too cramped. Not enough space. Overall, my three-day stay was a great experience. It's the most cost-effective five-star hotel on Hong Kong Middle Road."
Blue Horizon Hotel (Qingdao Shilaoren International Convention and Exhibition Center)
"Qingdao Landsea Hotel Laoshan Branch was an amazing experience! The location is superb, right next to the subway station and the Lida commercial area. It's also within walking distance to Shilaoren Beach and the Exhibition Center. The rooms are spacious and bright, with a separate wet and dry area in the bathroom, and the zero-gravity mattress was incredibly comfortable. The service was attentive and thoughtful, and the breakfast was abundant with plenty of local specialties. It's perfect for both business and leisure, highly recommended!"

"I paid almost 700 yuan for what turned out to be the worst hotel in years, both in terms of hygiene and overall experience. The room reeked of mildew the moment I walked in. The carpet was so filthy it made me nauseous, and there were dirty spots everywhere. The table and bathroom were sloppily cleaned, and the kettle was too dirty to even think about using. For such a high price, they didn't even provide basic amenities like a shower cap, cotton swabs, or hand soap. All they had were two toothbrushes and two combs, and I had to call the front desk to ask for the rest. Anyone who stays here will regret it – I'm so angry I almost want to complain to the consumer protection agency! It was absolutely, unbelievably awful!!!!"

"Taking advantage of the summer holidays, I brought my kids here to play. I found this hotel on Trip.com. It happened to be during the Beer Festival, and both adults and children had a great time. The room was neat and clean, and the 100-inch giant projector screen was a huge hit with the kids! The sea view was excellent, offering a distant view of Golden Sand Beach, and I could watch the sunrise over the sea in the morning. The staff provided thoughtful and meticulous service. Overall, it was a perfect experience, and I'll definitely stay here again when I come back to Qingdao!"

"I specifically booked this place after reading the reviews. The subway is right downstairs, and it's just a short walk to MixC mall. May Fourth Square is also a stone's throw away, and I even caught the light show at night. The subway makes it super convenient to get to all the attractions. The serviced apartment was clean enough, though the facilities felt a bit dated. I stayed for two nights and got to see the advection fog, with MixC appearing and disappearing in the mist. Qingdao is lovely!"

"When visiting Qingdao, my main concerns are often staying too far from attractions or paying too much for a sea view. This棧橋火車站海景酒店 (Zhanqiao Railway Station Seaview Hotel) perfectly hit all my requirements. Transportation is a breeze: after taking the high-speed train to Qingdao Station, it's just a 5-6 minute walk across the road to the lobby – incredibly convenient when traveling with parents and children. The sightseeing route is also well-planned: Zhanqiao Pier in the morning, then a stroll along the coastal line to Zhongshan Road for pork chop rice and bagged beer in the afternoon, and finally, back to the room at night to relax and watch the silhouettes of cargo ships. I particularly want to praise the sea view room itself: it's not a 'sideways glimpse of the sea,' but rather a direct view where the glass frames the horizon. On sunny days, the blue is almost unreal; on foggy days, it has a beautiful ink wash painting feel. The room is larger than it appears in the pictures, and the cleaning staff even wiped the dust from the window tracks. The German-style architecture of the building is also very appealing. A small service detail really impressed me – before check-in, the front desk called to ask for my arrival time and pre-cooled the room. When leaving, they even offered a bottle of Nongfu Spring water. The front desk lady also proactively helped with my luggage, provided tips to avoid tourist traps, and reminded me about the low tide time for clamming at Zhanqiao Pier. The value for money in the Zhanqiao area is genuinely good, suitable for couples and families alike. The breakfast is abundant, satisfying a Northern palate. Overall, there are no major flaws; for a sea view room in the core Zhanqiao area at this price point, it's a no-brainer – just book it."
