The airplane noise came in waves, but thankfully, my tolerance is pretty good, and it was only for one night as a stopover, so I managed. "Jiaodong Airport is really far. My flight landed at 9:30 PM, and I didn't get to the hotel until 11:30 PM. When I arrived, I met Ariane (Ms. Wang). I had originally booked a small sea-view suite, but after discussing it, she upgraded me to a 270-degree sea-view room. It turned out to be a great decision; the view from the room was fantastic, and I could enjoy the ocean right from my bed. After checking in, I added Ms. Wang on WeChat. She was incredibly responsive for room cleaning and bringing requested items, which was very convenient. The breakfast was good with a wide variety of dishes, but it was too crowded. The next day, I decisively opted for the Executive Lounge on the 30th floor. Although there were fewer options, the experience was much better, and the views were great too. The scent in the lobby was pleasant, but a bit too strong; I'd suggest making it a little lighter. I'll definitely choose the Hyatt Regency Qingdao again on my next visit."

The family room is spacious and comes with an induction hob; pots and pans can also be provided (request in advance during holidays). The large balcony in the sea-view room is very comfortable, though the sea view itself is just average. However! The service was truly excellent. Everyone had a superb attitude. Traveling with my parents involved many little things, and the staff patiently helped us resolve them all. My mother couldn't stop praising them. Overall, it's very suitable for family travel. Those who are very particular about cleanliness might find it falls short, but the service is genuinely wonderful."

It's a great choice for families, couples, or groups of friends looking for a relaxing getaway. The rooms were spacious, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. One of the best parts was the complimentary perks. We really enjoyed the unlimited beer, free daily ice cream, and the professional photo shoot that came with the stay. The photos turned out beautifully and became one of our favorite memories from the trip. The resort is located inside Beer City, where there are plenty of attractions, entertainment, and activities to enjoy. The surrounding atmosphere is lively, especially in the evening, making it a fun place to spend time without needing to travel far. Breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of delicious choices, catering to different tastes. Every morning was a great start to the day. Most importantly, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Since my phone number isn't a Chinese number, I couldn't scan and unlock the shared electric bikes myself. The staff patiently helped us scan the QR code and assisted us every time we needed it, which made getting around much easier. Their kindness and willingness to help really made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, this resort exceeded our expectations, and we would happily stay here again on our next visit!"

"Let's start with the positives. The service was excellent, especially the front desk, concierge, and the glasses-wearing cleaner on the 29th floor – they were all wonderful. Items I requested were delivered very promptly, and the breakfast selection was varied and tasty. Now for the many negatives. The 29th floor is supposedly the executive floor, but which executive lounge is located directly opposite a guest room? The hallway smelled rancid, which was really off-putting. The room itself was very outdated with poor facilities. Some TV channels lost sound intermittently, and the ancient hairdryer was frankly ridiculous. One of the sinks was completely clogged; washing my face, brushing my teeth, or washing my hands resulted in incredibly slow drainage – it was practically unusable. Please fix it! The room occasionally smelled faintly of urine. I was given a north-facing room, which was chilly even without the air conditioning on."

"We recently stayed at this resort and had a very pleasant experience overall. The location is just outside the city, about a 40-minute drive, and the drive there is beautiful. The resort was also very easy to find. Check-in was simple and smooth, and the staff were excellent throughout our stay—friendly, helpful, and quick to assist whenever needed. The room was large and clean, although it does show some signs of age. The hot springs, pool, and slides were a lot of fun and were kept clean, which we really appreciated. That said, some areas, especially the roof and floor surfaces, also show visible signs of aging and could use some maintenance. Our room did not have coffee or tea available when we arrived, but the staff provided it very quickly after we asked, which was great service. Breakfast was average, but for only a slightly higher price, it is worth including with your stay for the convenience. Overall, this is a relaxing and enjoyable place to stay, especially if you are looking for a getaway just outside the city."

The taxi driver told me it's a high-end villa district in the city center, and I was thrilled to have found such a great spot. We had brilliant sunny weather during our stay – the sky was crystal clear, and the sea sparkled beautifully. I even caught the sunrise from my room in the morning; the video and first three photos were taken right there. The villa complex itself is picturesque and peaceful, and you can also watch the sunset from there; the fourth photo was taken within the complex. The remaining pictures show the scenery from the wooden boardwalk next to the complex entrance. The hotel is very close to Wheat Island (Xiao Mai Dao) and Swallow Island (Yan'er Dao), both just about a 10-minute walk away. Transportation here is also very convenient, so nothing feels too far. The front desk staff were all warm, polite, and the room was kept immaculately clean. This stay left a wonderful impression on my trip to Qingdao. I've already recommended it to friends, and I'll definitely be back if I get the chance!"

"The hotel room was quite large; even two people would have been very comfortable. The girls who checked me in at reception were very, very friendly. I only used the hotel's airport shuttle service, which was fine, but I couldn't use the airport pickup service; they didn't respond on time. My Chinese isn't very good at calling the hotel directly and making requests. So I would recommend that they be more careful in that regard. (they replied after I had left😆) Overall, the cleanliness was very good. The only issue is that they don't seem to clean the glass wall in the bathroom very often; I hadn't even used it yet and it was already dirty. And just one recommendation: the tea they left in the room was delicious, and I learned that in Chinese culture they don't use sugar in tea. But I'm not Chinese, and I do need something sweet 😁😅😆 They could add a small cookie or something sweet for those of us who need something sweet."

It's also a twenty-minute walk to May Fourth Square. However, the soundproofing is poor; you can hear conversations from the next room. The triple room is spacious, but the cleaning wasn't very thorough and could be improved. There's no iron or ironing board in the room. The hotel breakfast is mediocre with a limited variety of fruits. On the day of check-in, our room wasn't ready, so we had to wait for almost an hour, only getting our room key close to 3 PM."
