"A truly exceptional stay on Jiuhuashan I have stayed in many guesthouses across China, but this one stands out in a very special way. From the very first moment, the communication via WeChat was friendly, quick, and reliable – even though my Chinese is limited and the staff’s English is not extensive. Still, everything worked beautifully. Warm, patient, uncomplicated. It already gives you the feeling that you are in good hands. I stayed for two days, and throughout my entire time there, everything was perfectly organized. I was picked up right on time upon arrival – an invaluable service in a mountain area that can be a little confusing for newcomers. The guesthouse itself is extremely comfortable: warm, well-designed rooms with excellent facilities, a huge screen, electric curtains, cozy bedding, and all the small details that make travel easier. I immediately felt welcomed and well taken care of. During my stay, the staff assisted me with everything I needed, always with kindness and without any complications. When it was time to leave, they also arranged transport back to my bus at exactly the time I requested. Truly flawless service. But the most extraordinary highlight was something I did not expect at all: the free guided tour that the homestay organizes for all their guests. They drove us to the starting point, and then we spent the day walking through the misty mountain paths, visiting nine of the most important temples on Jiuhuashan. It was magical – quiet, mysterious, deeply atmospheric. Our guide took wonderful care of everyone, explained so much about the temples, the mountain, the history, and the spirit of Dizang Bodhisattva, and created a sense of depth that went far beyond sightseeing. This was not a tourist activity. It was a spiritual and cultural experience – something you can only receive from people who truly love their mountain and want to share it with others. In the fog, among ancient stones, incense smoke, and the sound of footsteps on wet leaves, one begins to understand why Jiuhuashan has been a sacred place for centuries. My conclusion: This homestay offers not only comfort, warmth, and excellent service, but also a genuine connection to the spiritual heart of Jiuhuashan. I can recommend Tanxiangyuan Homestay without any hesitation. For pilgrims, travelers, lovers of nature, or anyone seeking a meaningful experience, this place is simply perfect. I am grateful for every moment I spent there."

"Choosing Huazhu B&B was the best decision on this trip! It's located near the Rou Shen Bao Dian (Hall of the Flesh and Blood), and very close to Jiuhua Mountain. The owner and staff were incredibly nice, and I loved the B&B's decor – every corner was thoughtfully arranged, making for amazing photo opportunities. The toiletries in the room were very comfortable, and sitting in the courtyard at night, enjoying the breeze, drinking tea, and chatting felt just like being at a friend's house. I highly recommend it to my friends!"

"The transfer center is just a block away. A round-trip shuttle to the entrance of the Jiuhuashan Scenic Area costs 50 RMB. Visiting the main temples can easily be done in about a day. As I had just returned from Huangshan, I wasn't keen on seeing more landscapes. The Jinqianliu (Money Willow) is supposedly unique to Jiuhuashan; its seeds make really pretty bracelets when strung together, so I picked one up to take home."
