"Unfortunately, I had to leave... that's how bad it was. After the first night, I complained about the noise, and they moved me to another room (private room, private bathroom which are overpriced sh*tholes). The second night was worse than the first night. They have two rules; an rule #1 is to be whisper-quiet when moving about the hostel between 10pm and 8am. However, they blast music on the rooftop until 11:00pm. Then the noise of the rooftop party continues throughout the hostel ALL NIGHT LONG! After no sleep for 2 nights, I decided I had to leave (75 countries and 1000's of accommodations, I never had to leave an accommodation early). I had already paid in full, and asked for a refund for the 3rd night, and they did not refund me. Horrible management, horrible communication, horrible all around experience!"

Since it is near La Carolina Park, the surrounding area is safe, and it seemed like a recently built building; the entire place, including the restrooms, was clean, making it a really pleasant stay. Simple cooking utensils are also provided, so you can buy ingredients from outside and cook your own meals."

The room was clean, and comfortable. The manager answered all our questions on Google translate which I am now going to use. The next day we had breakfast, and left. Had to rush back to the hotel as we thought we left our passport and jacket. Found our passport deep in our luggage but we did leave the jacket at the hotel. They were so accommodating. Would stay here again. Saw a vermillion flycatcher at breakfast!"
