Rusutsu Resort Hotel & Convention ★★★★

"I'm not sure if it was because we had an end-of-hall room or something else, but whenever someone used water, the pipes would make a booming noise that severely disrupted our sleep."

The Vale Rusutsu ★★★★

"Perfect for gathering with friends! Great space and environment Highly recommended for friends who love skiing"

Japavista Rusutsu ★★★

"The house is as beautiful as the photos suggested. Amenities included are top notch. Location is great as long as the guests have access to rental cars. Will stay there again if visiting Rusutsu."

The Westin Rusutsu Resort ★★★★★

"Facilities: The room is quite spacious for Japan, split over two floors. It's very new, though going downstairs to use the toilet is a bit inconvenient. As a ski hotel, it's already quite good. Breakfast was packed; if you wanted a window seat, you had to be there right when it opened or just get lucky. Eating breakfast between 8 and 9 AM meant queuing for a table, and even when there were clearly window seats available, they made me sit elsewhere. I saw that they wouldn't let me switch, which was quite frustrating. The onsen (hot spring) felt a bit dirty; compared to many other Japanese onsens, there were too many floating particles."

Suiyo Rusutsu ★★★★

"Excellent! 👍 Suitable for family trips. It takes 7-8 minutes to walk to Rusutsu Resort."

Villa Rusutsu ★★★

"It was Mid March when we arrived but the snow was still thick and plentiful- the perfect setting for these Canadian style log villas built from Canadian timber. Our assigned villa was very warm and comfortable with easy parking outside. There is a very cozy bar and lounge area in the main reception with a large log fireplace. The sukuyaki/shabu shabu dinner that followed was amazing. The ski fields are a 5 minute drive away as are the shops and nearby restaurants and izakayas. All in all an excellent location and beautiful hotel."

Cloud9 ★★★

"Our group thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cloud 9. Young was incredibly accommodating, especially since we had a diverse group with different schedules. Some skied all day while others headed out later in the day. He made sure everyone had breakfast, lift tickets, and transportation to the lifts. When part of our group was scheduled to depart early morning in the middle of a snow storm, he ensure the paths were shoveled and clear of snow. His hospitality made our trip seamless and enjoyable."
