"The hotel is very close to Sano Station, and the staff is friendly. One of them speaks fluent English and is easy to communicate with. The room is nice, but the air conditioner and carpet need to be cleaned more. Breakfast is rich and delicious! The hotel reception is on the first floor, and there is a free parking lot underground. However, the underground elevator is closed after 8 pm. You have to carry your luggage and take the stairs to the first floor before there is an elevator to the room floor."

"The room was old but clean, and I was able to relax in peace. I booked through Run of the House and was able to stay at a reasonable price, and I was surprised by how good the breakfast was. The rice and fries were delicious. The coffee brewed with spring water was especially tasty. The lobby decorations were unique, and the corridors were filled with exhibits, which was enjoyable. The pond was very mystical, and I was able to enjoy it all to myself during my morning stroll. The staff were also kind, and I had a very pleasant time. If I had to suggest one thing, it would be to improve security a bit more, such as adding a chain to the room door or closing the gap at the bottom, so that I can sleep more peacefully. Next time, I'd like to try dinner."

"It's close to the station and there are izakayas and Sano ramen shops nearby, so it's convenient. (However, most ramen shops take a lunch break between 14:00 and 18:00.) They offered free pork soup, but it was only available between 17:00 and 21:00, so I was out and couldn't eat it. What a shame! There was a DeLonghi coffee machine (I think) at the front desk, so I was able to drink as much as I wanted."

"I used this hotel when going to Ashikaga Flower Park. The room and bathroom were clean and very comfortable. I appreciated that there was a microwave on the same floor. Breakfast was good. I had rice with delicious local ingredients and the croissants were also tasty, and I was very satisfied. They also provided a cup for takeaway coffee, which was nice as I could take it with me when I went out."

"1950s American kitschy ryokan... The operators and staff are terrific - kind, polite and discreet. When we stayed, we were the only guests in the hotel and so the onsen experience was completely private and amazing. The hotel environs are a little dated but that's part of the charm - the individual rooms are fantastic and modern. Some have bends and tatami mats for sleeping. Breakfast and dinner are fantastic."
