"We had a connecting room facing Huis Ten Bosch. There's a private entrance that people staying at Hotel Nikko can use to get into the amusement park which closes at 9.30am. If you are early, you can check in first and leave your luggage. The staff will bring them to the room when the room is ready while we went to the amusement park. The facilities are dated but clean. There's onsen that we can use and the breakfast spread is tasty 😋 Staff are very friendly."

"Great location for Huis Ten Bosch, just a 2 minutes walk to the main entrance. There's a hotel-guest only pier that offers boat rides to and from another park entrance. The hotel's design/facilities are dated, however the upkeep is very good and generally very clean. Public bath/onsen facility is well maintained though dated, and the outdoor onsen is a pleasant surprise. Room is spacious, again design is dated but upkeep is good. Beds are very comfortable. Hotel staffs are very helpful, most of them are comfortable with basic English and seem to be experienced in dealing with foreign guests. The breakfast buffet has balanced choices (western / local), and Japanese restaurant serves high quality food, good value."

"The twin bed room overlooks the cruise entrance and is more spacious than expected. Even though the hotel is old it suits the European theme and the amenities are adequate. Will consider staying again when visit huis ten Bosch.  The dinner at Der Admiraal is great as well with wine pairing and 9 course meal. Worth the price."
