"I am trying to give an objective view as we are on a walking holiday organised by a company. The previous three nights of accommodation had been three star guest houses and hotels, so this was very different. For example, it's hard to compare what was very basic accommodation to the other establishments, with dining facilities, hot breakfast and onsite support. Having said that, the location was great, and we had a very peaceful night's sleep. The shower seemed to go from quite cold to blasting hot with no real warning, but we managed. The luggage was transported for us and left on the landing accessed by an unlocked door, so presumably when it was delivered the reception wasn't open, and this did concern us. Other than that, we had no complaints, I guess it just wasn't really comparable to what we'd had on previous nights."

"Lovely B&B with great attention to detail. Fresh milk in the fridge for a cuppa in your room daily. Comfortable room and bed, which was nice & warm after a day in the elements. Marion & Ian were fantastic hosts with good local knowledge, warm, friendly and hospitable. Good breakfast selection setting you up nicely for the day. We will definitely be back."

"Room wasn't what we expected,wasn't cleaned properly, we told the owner,who then offered to come and sort it out,I will give him his due he was always on the end of the phone if you needed him.he did give us a rebate,the toilet was only 2ft from my side of the bed and you could hear the people in the next room who were very noisy, but that's not his fault .we found it claustro phobic.the only reason I give 2 is because of the owner or it would be a 1."
