"Overall it’s one of the better hotels in central Shanglin overlooking a man-made lake with a walk / run track around the perimeter. Close to night market and restaurants. Only reason I don’t give an excellent rating is that our first assigned room was dirty (sticky floor) and had some damage. We got moved across the hall and the second room was very comfortable, clean, and quiet. Not sure why we were such a poor room when the hotel had plenty of rooms available. Breakfast buffet was satisfactory - good bowl of noodle soup and fried eggs available."

"I recently managed to steal a moment from my busy schedule and finally made it to Shanglin, a place I've been longing to visit!! I'd been wanting to go to this off-the-beaten-path resort for ages! It's about a two-hour drive from Nanning city center 🚗~🍃🌳 Environment: A must-visit for fresh air! The air is filled with the sweet scent of the mountains and forests!! The floor-to-ceiling windows offer stunning mountain views, it's incredibly relaxing! The rooftop terrace has a panoramic view, perfect for taking amazing photos~📸 Cleanliness: Newly renovated, the facilities are excellent, and the room even has a Panasonic hairdryer! The smart toilet seat was warm, which was very thoughtful. Service: The front desk, butler, and other staff were all very welcoming and responsive. Breakfast was prepared quickly, and the freshly cooked beef brisket noodles were authentic. 🍜 Afternoon Tea for Two: The afternoon tea included desserts, preserved plums, freshly cut fruit, and hot tea, which could be delivered to the room. Enjoying it by the floor-to-ceiling windows was very chill and relaxing. 👌"

"It can be said that this is a treasure homestay that I have discovered. It is on the top of the mountain, but the road is not difficult to walk. There are mountains all around and the air is fresh. Not far from the homestay, there is a place where you can take your children hiking and tracing the stream. The room is clean and tidy, and you can see that the owner is very tasteful. Every detail is in place. Taking pictures in every corner of the room is very photogenic. The lobby is spacious, and the adults are grilling on one side, and the children are playing in the swimming pool next to it. It's so nice to stay! The boss and the staff are very nice, warm and thoughtful, and you feel at home. The children were too excited to play at night and got up late the next day and exceeded the check-out time, but the boss didn't rush us. This is so touching! The food is also delicious. I will recommend it to my friends as soon as I come back, and I will find time to come again next time."

"I booked this farmhouse on Ctrip a month in advance. Seeing it was a new place, I decided to give it a try. I was absolutely thrilled! The value for money was incredible! The owner was so kind! They picked us up and dropped us off at various attractions! You can even bring your dog! The owner clearly loves dogs! He was also incredibly helpful; when we were hesitant to drive on a steep incline, he immediately came to help! They even provided a terrace with tables and chairs for our BBQ! The guesthouse also has a swimming pool! However, it was a bit chilly in the evening, so we didn't go swimming. More than the brand-new environment, we loved the owner's hospitality and attitude! We were extremely satisfied!"
