I had a reservation, but when I arrived, they told me they didn't have it, which wasted some time. The gym management could also use some improvement. For example, there was no water, disinfectant wipes, tissues, or towels available. They have a lot of equipment, but the service doesn't quite match up."

"Located right next to Shaoguan High-Speed Railway Station, Vienna Hotel is currently the only hotel directly on the station square. This makes it incredibly convenient for travelers arriving at or departing from Shaoguan Station, no matter how early or late their train is – it's just a few minutes' walk away. The hotel rooms are exceptionally spacious and well-equipped, and the cleanliness is top-notch; both the room and bathroom were spotless. The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of options. The hotel also caters to guests with lunch and dinner services. The front desk staff, especially one lovely lady, was incredibly welcoming and efficient with the check-in process. Upon seeing that we had a child with us, she even proactively upgraded us for free from a 1.8-meter king-size bed room to a massive 2.7-meter super king-size bed room. From its prime location to the quality of accommodation and dining, I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to everyone."

"I had a fantastic stay! I stayed at four hotels in Shaoguan over five days, and this one was the cheapest, but I'd give it my 1.5th place ranking (the one ranked first is because it has a private hot spring). First of all, the cleanliness was excellent, and the toilet in the bathroom was very comfortable. Secondly, the hotel is very close to Shaoguan East Railway Station, which was perfect for storing my luggage on the fifth day of my trip. The service was excellent, and everyone was very helpful, including the two young ladies at the front desk and the laundry staff. Since I didn't know that the breakfast voucher had to be booked through the official app, the front desk even gave me breakfast and a late check-out, so I'll give them a good review (although I would still give a good review even without the voucher). Finally, I really appreciated the facilities; the elevator requires a room key to use, which ensures security. Since I didn't take any photos, I'll just post a few travel pictures."

When I arrived and asked, I found out that not every room has a hot spring bath. Some rooms require a public hot spring bath. But there is only one public hot spring pool. We went there at 8 o'clock in the evening to take a bath, but they were changing the water. When the water was replenished to the calf level, there was no water. Later, the staff said that there were many people on the holidays and the heating equipment was malfunctioning, so the water did not come up. There was no hot water. The hot spring water was not hot enough and we could not take a bath without heating it. . . Well, this is the first time I heard that hot spring water needs to be heated. . . 2. The air conditioner in the room was too loud. Even in silent mode, it was still very loud. I couldn't sleep. I got up and turned off the air conditioner and opened the window. Fortunately, it was not cold during the Qingming Festival. 3. The door of the room closes too loudly. Even a slight movement can make a loud noise. The door closing noises of other rooms can be clearly heard from within the room. Since it is positioned as a high-end homestay, it is recommended that the hardware facilities can be improved."

"Looks more like a resort than hotel. Hotel lobby was very grand but facilities are worn down. There is a gym and karaoke room but the karaoke looks more like night club, swimming pool looks old too and it’s closed. Room size ok, necessities are all equipped but lack of power points for charging and no international sockets. Shower surprisingly very comfy good water pressure with enclosed shower and bath tub, and I am very happy to see the washlet toilet. Room comes with a balcony with table and chairs and the view is nice. Free coffee and tea at the lobby. Buffet breakfast variety more local and food are all quite oily, very tasty though. There is a male staff at the reception which I would like to compliment, he helped us book DiDi during our stay throughout using his own account as we have issue with our WeChat. Excellent service! Took DiDi to nearby bainian dong jie for night market and food, must go place if you visit Shaoguan, try the mu mian ting chuan shao, very nice."

By taxi, it takes just around 10–15 minutes to get to Shaoguan National Park. The breakfast was also included. Well, it’s just okay, but at least it’s good that they provide it. It’s simple, but it has both Chinese and Western food. The staff was very friendly, and check-in was very fast. About the room, it’s nice but kinda really small. There are all the things you need: slippers, a dental kit, a brush, and so on. In general it’s good."
