"The service attitude at check-in was not good, but the breakfast service was quite good. There were no laundry bags available, and the washing machine had issues with drying. The small wontons at breakfast were tasty, but the hot dishes weren't good. Overall, the stay experience was quite poor. The shuttle service to the ancient town scenic area (shared ride) is just for show; it didn't actually drop us off at the ancient town. The afternoon tea looked great in the pictures, but it was just a bottle of wine and some fruit, not the pastries shown. The cleaning lady was very polite, but overall, the front desk service was bad, and the value for money was very low. The package seemed to include a lot of things, but they were all just decorative and not useful."

"This is my first review on Trip.com. The elevator was out of order on the day of check-in, and the front desk staff were difficult to reach. Regarding the internet issue, they sent a male engineer to a room full of female guests, where he stood idly for nearly twenty minutes without resolving the problem. He then proceeded to chat loudly in a group chat, completely ignoring the situation. It took almost an hour to fix a simple screen mirroring/internet issue! Most importantly, the hygiene was terrible. The windowsills and tabletops were covered in dust, and the blanket made me itch!"

"This hotel is nestled within the ancient town of Keqiao, built right by the river. Opening the window offers picturesque views of small bridges and flowing water, a quintessential江南 (Jiangnan) scene. The hotel boasts comprehensive facilities, including a laundry room, gym, a book bar, and a tea room, ensuring you'll never be bored even if you stay in all day. We stayed in a spacious LOFT suite, which the kids absolutely loved. The hotel's courtyard design is very tasteful, with traditional black tiles and upturned eaves complemented by bamboo woven art. Every photo taken here turns out beautifully. I particularly adored the pink skywalk – it was stunning and made for fantastic pictures. I'm extremely satisfied with this trip!"

The Green Hidden Wanjia Hui Resort Hotel (Shaoxing Lu Xun's Hometown Cangqiao Zhijie Store)
"I was very pleasantly surprised by this hotel, and I'd definitely choose it again if I come back. I usually stay at chain hotels, but all the nearby Hantings, Orange Hotels, and Atours were either too old or had too many negative reviews. I tried this one for a night and immediately extended my stay for another four or five days. Pros: The facilities are new and complete, hygiene standards are met, the service is warm and well-trained, and the location is convenient. Although the bed is quite close to the door and you can hear people talking in the corridor, luckily it was off-season so it wasn't too crowded or noisy. I could tell the hotel had already addressed soundproofing issues; the door is quite thick and heavy. I'd recommend choosing a room on a higher floor, on the inner side, not an end room, for a great experience. They also offer welcome fruit daily (though it wasn't always fresh one day), and I received a welcome gift on the first day. Cangqiao Zhijie street is just a 5-minute walk away, and within 2km there are shopping malls and the Lu Xun Native Place scenic area. Food delivery is plentiful and fast, and almost every time, the robot delivered my order right after it arrived. The service attitude is excellent; much better trained than many newly opened hotels. The staff are enthusiastic and proactive, and any issues communicated via WeChat were resolved immediately. I was really impressed with the cleanliness; in all these days, I didn't find any bugs except for one fly. Cons: The overhead shower in the bathroom had a slightly chaotic spray, splashing everywhere, and it was directly facing the door crack, so the floor outside would get wet every time I showered. On the last day, the air conditioner's warm air had a slight odor. It would be helpful if there were 'Do Not Disturb' or 'Make Up Room' signs to hang on the doorknob (I didn't see any electronic ones). This way, the hotel would know guest preferences without prior communication, and housekeepers wouldn't need to knock to ask if a room didn't need cleaning. The cleaning staff, however, were still very responsible."

"The hotel is very new, and the hardware conditions of the guest rooms are obviously beyond the expectations of this price. The hotel's property is an apartment building supporting the community. It is very convenient to eat and buy things downstairs, and there is also a very beautiful park in the community."

The bedding was super comfortable – not too soft, not too firm, just right. The location requires a shuttle service to get to and from the scenic area, but we arrived during an off-peak period which was perfect. Highly recommend!"

"The attention to detail at Temperature Spring Hotel is exceptional. I especially appreciated the large font on the toiletries in the shower room – a thoughtful touch for those with presbyopia. Thumbs up for that! The drying hooks next to the air conditioner and by the window in the room are very practical. The ice maker and drinking water dispenser on every floor are a very considerate convenience. The hygiene is excellent, and the service is warm and friendly. The room itself is spacious and offers a view of Mirror Lake, which makes for a pleasant stroll in the evening. Good value for money, highly recommended."

"The hotel has a great location, less than one kilometer from the former residence of the Calligrapher Sage and the Eight-Character Bridge, and no more than two kilometers from the former residence of Lu Xun and Xixiaolu, all within walking distance. Shaoxing is perfect for exploring its streets and alleys. The room was clean and satisfactory, the washer and dryer worked well, the breakfast was plentiful, and the service was good. The only drawback was the limited storage space in the room; there was no desk."

"The room was spacious and clean. During the May Day holiday, the lobby offered complimentary snacks and fruits to guests, along with a calligraphy activity. We decided to dine in at the hotel in the evening, and the dishes were decent and tasty. There's a lake right next door, which is perfect for a quiet, peaceful stroll after dinner."
