"Get the room with no window,still alright. We can control the air condition/fan and heater on the wall. Easy access to the city with the tram and bus. Unfortunately,the room is quite noisy with people from the other room. You can hear they talking and laughing. Even when they flushed the toilet! Hillarious."
Radisson Blu Sheffield Hotel
"We loved our stay at Radisson Blu. The only downside was the Air Con not working properly, they are really hot rooms and the windows dont open. However, the rooms are so quiet with soundproof rooms, really comfortable and spacious. It was an ideal location near Lyceum Theatre and a lobely square opposite for eating and drinking. We sat at the roof top bar for drinks and staff were polite and helpful. I would love to revisit but the air con was abit of a downside for me."

"I felt very comfortable as a solo female visitor, which i was worried about! Room was very clean, The bed extremely comfortable. Very quiet overnight despite it being a weekend. There is noise from the main road but to be expected in a city. I did have to pay £15.00 to check in early as there is no where to leave baggage. That was an oversight on my part, I thought it was 12pm but that is departure time."

"We had a very pleasant stay. The room was spacious, a little dated, but spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. The hotel is a bit of a walk from the city centre, but it’s still easily walkable. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay, and the breakfast was excellent with a great selection. Overall, great value and we’d happily stay here again."

"The hotel feels outdated and unsafe. The door lock was flimsy, the peephole loose, and it seemed the door could be pried open. The bathroom was worn—the tub was peeling and yellowed, with brown dust in the details. The mattress squeaked whenever I sat down. Soundproofing was terrible: two connecting doors to the next room meant I could hear everything, and someone opened one at midnight. As a woman traveling alone, I didn’t feel safe. I can’t recommend this hotel. Overall, I did not feel safe or comfortable. Management urgently needs to address the door security, replace the bathtub, deep-clean the bathroom, fix or replace the mattress, and properly seal or remove the connecting doors. "I stay at the Jonas every few weeks when I’m in a Sheffield for work. It’s not fancy and the rooms are small, but they are clean and the location is great - close to the uni and hospital. Outside noise is hit and miss - it’s in the student halls of residence so it can be loud. But it’s great to have a kitchen available and the staff are very nice."
