"The owner is incredibly kind and helpful. The place has all the basic amenities; although there's no air conditioning, there's a fan. It looks exactly like the pictures! Very clean. It might look a bit old, but the owner keeps it exceptionally clean. However, be aware that you need to climb stairs; there's no elevator, and you can only enter from the entrance of the residential complex. There are places to eat nearby, and a bus stop is right next to the hotel, making it very convenient. It's also very close to Shenyang's Zhongjie area. For example, if you want to visit the Shenyang Imperial Palace, Zhang Xueliang's former residence, the Governor's Mansion of the Three Northeastern Provinces, or the snacks along Zhongjie Street, this hotel is a good option. However, on a side note, if you're easily frightened and traveling alone, arriving at this hotel late at night might be scary. If you're easily scared, consider your own situation before deciding, but if you're traveling with a companion, it's definitely a good choice. In summary, it might not look very good from the outside, but from the inside it will feel quite good. But honestly, considering other hotels in the vicinity, especially during peak tourist season in the provincial capital, I think this price is extremely cost-effective."

It takes about 10-15 minutes to walk to Shenyang North Station with luggage. You can see the hotel sign on the left side when you exit the South Square of Shenyang North Station. Seeing the hotel sign right out of the train station was incredibly reassuring. The value for money is excellent. I'll definitely choose Holiday Inn Express again when transferring in Shenyang. In over ten years of business travel, this is hands down the absolute worst, most miserable experience I've ever had. A definite one-star review."

"Let me start with the positives. The hotel environment is excellent, very close to the subway station, and the room view is great. The swimming pool and fitness area are fantastic. The front desk staff and service personnel were all very good and responsive. The robot room service was also very convenient. Now for the downsides. For a hotel at this price point, the bathroom amenities are really subpar, significantly worse than comparable hotels. Secondly, during both nights of our stay, we encountered wedding rooms on our floor. The front desk did not inform us upon check-in if we minded being on the same floor as wedding parties. In the morning, relatives of the wedding party staying in a nearby room kept opening and closing their door, creating a lot of noise. When I reported this to customer service, the hotel manager who responded actually questioned my feedback, telling me the wedding room was 'a certain distance' from mine. He used the most polite tone to say the most disrespectful things, which made me very uncomfortable. After learning there would be another wedding party on the second night, they offered to move us to a different floor. Ultimately, they resolved the issue of noise on the second night by moving the wedding party to a different floor. However, regarding the disturbance to our rest on the first night, all I got was a 'sorry.' Moreover, the security guards downstairs did nothing about the wedding car convoy; they occupied two lanes for a long time, preventing our pre-booked vehicle from entering. We had to walk to the intersection ourselves. In summary, for the same price point, I would not highly recommend this hotel, because at this price, hotels are all about the details and service."

Her service was both professional and incredibly thoughtful. She was constantly busy in the restaurant, attending to every guest with great dedication. She even gave me a small gift when I left!
