I don't recommend this room type, not because the view is bad, but because the first floor is on the same floor as the hotel kitchen. The corridor smells of oil. I am very sensitive to smells, so I give a bad review on this point. I didn't book the hotel dinner, so I don't know how the food is. Breakfast is a small hot pot and some Japanese cold dishes. The midnight snack is relatively common in the Japanese hot spring hotels I have stayed in. The hot spring hotels I have stayed in Hokkaido or Izu before, the midnight snacks are richer and more delicious, and they are also included in the room rate and provided free of charge. I want to emphasize the service of the front desk. They patiently answer my questions and give me the best solution. In order to catch a bus, I wanted to take a taxi to the bus station. The man with glasses at the front desk told me that it would take ten minutes for the taxi to come, and asked me to wait. The hotel car will be back from the pier soon. After returning, I asked the hotel driver to take me there, which saved a taxi fare and caught the bus smoothly. I especially thank him, but unfortunately I forgot his name."

"Everything was very satisfactory, except the hotel's location wasn't ideal; it was quite far from many attractions in Tosho and Hante districts. Getting to Tosho Port by ferry required a 60-minute bus ride, and getting to Hante took another 30-40 minutes. The Shodoshima bus schedule was fixed, and missing it meant missing your bus back to the hotel. So, transportation was very inconvenient, and there were no restaurants or shops nearby. It was purely a vacation spot for enjoying the sea."
