"I actually came here to film a promotional video. But I absolutely cannot recommend this hotel: no welcome guests upon arrival, no explanation about the hotel, leaky windows, ceilings, some areas neglected, definitely showing their age, the men's sauna didn't work, the whirlpool didn't work, the swimming pool has a maximum depth of 90 cm, the room furnishings are very basic, no beach bag provided, not even upon request, hardly any toiletries, no umbrella, no tour of the hotel grounds, not even upon request, and so on and so forth. The breakfast is very good, but the rest is at best a 3-4 star level. In short: if you're out golfing all day and only come to the hotel for breakfast and dinner, then it's okay."

"We had a wonderful stay at Quinta Velha away from the hustle, beautiful 15 minute walkway to town in a beautiful nature path! The villa is beautiful and the service by the staff was extremely welcoming and warm. We enjoyed a delicious dinner by Army in the garden and breakfast was plentiful and good as well. We were a family of 6 and had a wonderful stay. We can highly recommend!"
