For the price and location along with having decent amenities this hotel was a good deal and I had no complaints. Ample parking below the building, very close to the beach, nice coffee shops and yoga studio, and easy access from the main road . Beds were comfortable enough and the room was clean. It’s not a five star hotel , but for a business trip it for the bill just fine

From check in to check out everyone was extremely helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel. The front desk, housekeeping even the bistro staff were all friendly and personable. They made us feel very welcomed and made us look forward to coming back.

I cannot tell you how Barbara, one of the managers here was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond in customer service. When I got to the airport, I had realized that I LOST my wedding ring. I looked everywhere for it, I had called the hotel and Barbara answered, knew who I was when just checking out 20 minutes before and runs in and finds the ring and says. ”The ring is in my hand, I am keeping it in a safe deposit box until you know how to get it back to Dallas” - I was so relieved and she got the ring, and took it to FedEx to have it sent back and she was in communication with me until the ring was back in my possession. Cannot say enough good things about. her, truly in for her customers and an absolute life saver! Not sure if anyone reads these... but she deserves a raise. We had a great experience and absolutely will be coming back. I will be there every quarter or so. Thank you Barbara!

First I chose this place because I was working nearby. It's about 20 minutes walk from the beach. There is a large shopping supermarket and restaurant area around, which is quite convenient. The exterior of the hotel is very similar to that of American dramas in the 1990s, with standard American-style luxury garden views and an artistic atmosphere in the lobby. The room I lived in was a garden-view room with a balcony. Because it was on the first floor, it was cool under the two big trees at the door. Facing the swimming pool, of course the United States is a hotel with a swimming pool. I like this small balcony, it's cool and cozy, it's still very comfortable to read books, listen to music and drink tea in the afternoon. This room service is still good, the dishes are delicious & # 128523; (than another Del Mar Hotel). The room is very large, 30 square meters, and the equipment is good. At least a coffee machine, a refrigerator, (many hotels don't have it). In addition, the bathrooms are also very large, much larger than those in New York. Wet and dry separately. The service staff are very friendly! The only flaws are: 1. The musty smell is too big, one is the carpet, and the other is the shower curtain of the toilet has a bad smell! Every time I enter the door, there is a smell of smelly socks! & # 128534; & # 128534 ;. 2. The waiter's bed was clean and clean, but did not clean the table, did not suck the floor, still feel dirty, service is not like the standard of a five-star hotel! All in all, the four hotels near the San Diego Del Mar I have stayed in are relatively satisfactory!

I have visited this hotel every year since it opened to be close to my grandchildren age 5 and 6 who love it. They call it the ”Robot Hotel” because there is an actual robot that delivers goodies. Every visit has been terrific, but this was a more complicated visit, and the entire staff was just remarkable in how they rose to the occasion each time I needed help with a number of issues with visitors, office materials, my mobile phone software, dinner plates and utensils for lots of company. The staff gave 200 percent, and as a senior traveler it made my life so much easier. Matt Sater has concocted the perfect recipe for the warmest hospitality I have ever experienced in my travels. Melissa should be training everyone at Marriot on how to provide the most top notch customer service operating the front desk. Her smile is infectious, and her truly sincere approach cushions the anxiety many older travelers have. Itzel helped enormously when I entertained at the pool or patio and was always friendly. My grandchildren especially enjoyed the hugs and conversations with Isabel who laid out a beautiful breakfast and as busy as she was found time to joke with them. The cleaning staff delivered spotless accomodations. This hotel was truly a peaceful harbor that made you feel cared for in a tumultuous sea. Highly recommend. Elaine Darman Levitt

Location was great even the room location was great, however, room smelled bad, I’m sure it was the carpet. Walls were disgusting dirty. Bathroom floor was gross. Hotel needs to get rid of carpeting or clean it often. Won’t be staying there again.

We were attending a wedding at The Inn at Rancho Santa Fe. Morgan Run Club & Resort is just a couple miles away so we selected it to stay for two nights in early October. The location was very convenient to the Inn and the town of Rancho Santa Fe. However, we were quite unhappy with the accommodations. We knew it was an older club and were looking forward to the charm and character of old San Diego. The room smelled old and musty. The furnishings, carpet and bedding was worn and dated. The sheets were not soft. The air conditioner did not work and it was a warm weekend. (The club does not have central air.) The patio faced an unkept hedge, was unswept and lacked anything inviting us to want to sit outside. The rooms and patios facing the golf course are probably better. I rarely write poor reviews but we were disappointed as this was an important weekend to us. On a positive note, all of the staff were lovely. From the gals at the Front Desk to the housekeeper, everyone was friendly and helpful.
