古老的波斯帝國與現代的文化交織不經意間在攜程上發現了位於沙迦的The Chedi，預訂完抱着好奇的心態搜尋了這家酒店的歷史。Al Midfa家族百年祖傳宅邸和商鋪坐落於沙迦靠近波斯灣的一側，家族與GHM集團合作並於2019年將老宅翻新改建成Sharjah The Chedi。有意思的是GHM集團也是由安縵創始人Adrian Zecha老爺子創立，在酒店內外設計和選址理念上確實能感受到很多安縵的影子，價格方面比安縵低所以衹能説設計上很像，衹是還未達到安縵那種極端的避世和超高的服務質量。 衹是希望服務有待提高！餐廳反應速度有點遜色，茶包等了十五分鐘左右才拿到，態度是好的，前台員工再熱情一點就更好了。

Вполне нормальный отель. Вкусные завтраки. Неплохой ресторанчик прямо рядом с пляжем. Пляж небольшой. По территории отеля гуляют павлины. Портит впечатление стройка рядом с отелем, иногда днем тарахтит экскаватор. Хотя отель в этом, конечно, не виноват. Местность вокруг отеля - ну тоска зеленая. Идти особо некуда.

Disappointed with management response despite otherwise pleasant stay I have been a regular guest at this hotel and usually enjoy my stays here, but this time I was truly disappointed by the way my situation was handled. Due to unusual circumstances, I couldn’t check in on the first night of my reservation. I had already contacted both the hotel and the booking website before the check-in date, requesting either a free cancellation, a refund for the first night, or an extension for one more night. Unfortunately, both the hotel and the website refused all options. As a result, I lost one night and three meals, since my booking was on a half-board basis. I was expecting more flexibility and understanding, especially as a returning guest. Other than that, my experience at the hotel was generally positive.    •   The staff were courteous and professional, especially in the restaurant — Mr. Shah Qinar stood out for his exceptional communication skills and helpful attitude.    •   Housekeeping on the 6th floor was excellent — everything was tidy and well-maintained throughout my stay.    •   Breakfast buffet offered plenty of choices and the food quality was quite good. However, the coffee quality and milk used in the machine were below the standard expected from a normal outside café.    •   The room lighting was on the dim side with no option to brighten it, which made the room feel darker than comfortable.    •   On the positive side, the bedding, blankets, and pillows were very comfortable, and having free parking beside the hotel was a great convenience in a congested area like Al Majaz. Overall, while I appreciated the good service from the staff and comfort of the stay, the lack of flexibility and empathy from management regarding my situation has left a very negative impression. Unfortunately, this will be my last visit to this hotel.

Bu otelde ilk konaklamam değildi ve mükemmel konumu, yemekleri ve hizmeti takdir etmeye devam ediyorum. Günlük temizlik odamı çok temiz tuttu. Tek küçük sorun, odanın penceresinin komşu binaya bakması nedeniyle biraz loş olmasıydı. Belki de odanın içindeki daha parlak ışık ambiyansı daha da güzelleştirebilir. Genel olarak bu oteli tavsiye ederim.

В декабре 2023 рядом с отелем был ремонт дороги. Но при этом была приличная скидка на проживание. В целом отель понравился, чисто, персонал вежливый. Завтраки хорошие. Но рядом с отелем со стороны моря на берегу какая-то фабрика. Море не сказать чтобы грязное, не считая немного бытового мусора, но соседство с работающей фабрикой смущает...
