"From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by wonderfully friendly staff at the reception desk, and our positive impression continued when we saw our room. It was incredibly spacious and spotlessly clean and a perfect space to relax in. Unfortunately, our enthusiasm dipped when we looked out the window. We had eagerly anticipated the sea view we booked, but found ourselves on the first floor looking directly onto the main path to the restaurant. The lack of both a view and privacy was a real disappointment. The challenges were compounded by a local festival taking place during our stay. This rendered the beach unusable due to the sheer volume of people. Worse, the road closures made leaving the hotel a logistical headache, leaving us feeling a bit trapped. A final frustration was discovering there were no shops nearby and no convenience store in the hotel itself, so be sure to pack everything you might need. In summary, while we can't fault the hotel on its cleanliness or the friendliness of its staff, the experience was significantly hampered by the room mix-up and the festival chaos. It wasn’t a bad stay, but it was far from the relaxing getaway we had planned."

"We were first given a room with a view on the bar and swimming pool, just next to the second floor open terrace which was awful in terms of privacy. Fortunately we were changed to a room on the far East of the old building and the view as fantastic.. the room was old but well maintained. The problem was the terrace door was not sound proof and we learnt at night how bothersome it would be. Because you see, our room was just above the restaurant that gives directly to the sea where waves crash on the rocks. Impossible to have a quiet night. Light sleepers better choose a room in the swimming pool area. Food was ok. Service as everywhere in SriLanka was slow and not very responsive. You had to ask twice for hot water or something. We expected more for a 5 stars. We tried the restaurant next to the spa on our last night and service was great there. The pizza at the pizza restaurant next to the pool was very good. Location of the hotel was great, a 5 min by tuktuk to the castle. Unfortunately, everything was almost perfect until the day we left. We realized the hotel has a monopoly on all the taxi and tuktuk that come and leave the hotel. As I couldn't book a car on Uber or kangaroo cab, we just asked a driver who just dropped a group of people if we could hire him and he was ok but the hotel staff interrupted us and sent him away because they asked us to choose from their drivers which was completely absurd. We insisted on using this driver so they entered in a negotiation with the driver to get a cut on the fees. Apparently these are common practices in 5 star hotels. A total mafia style management. Outrageous. And in the hotel room, you have a biography of the founder that highlight his ambition to highlight Sri Lankan hospitality. I encourage him to take a look in the mirror. For that I would not recommend this place, especially during winter vacation when prices are half a grand for 2 nights!"

"ตอนแรกได้ห้องมีกลิ่นค่อนข้างอับเลยแจ้งพนักงานเจ้าหน้าที่ไป เจ้าหน้าที่แก้ไขสถานการณ์ดำเนินการและเปลี่ยนห้องให้ใหม่ถือว่าประทับใจมากๆ วิวสวย ติดทะเล พนักงานทุกคนเต็มใจบริการ ยิ้มแย้ม เป็นกันเอง ให้ความช่วยเหลือเป็นอย่างดี ถ้ามีโอกาสจะแวะกลับไปอีกค่ะ"

"Ох... Этот отель просто влюбил в себя!!! Фото не прикладываю, потому что они реальные в профиле отеля. Вот все как есть! Мы были в люксе 4 для на 3 этаже и это действительно лучший отель Шри. Очень атмосферно и продуманно , глазки радуются каждой мелочи. Обслуживание: заселили раньше времени и быстро, убирались в номере 2 раза в день!!!!! , бассейн чистый, еда в ресторане вкусная , но дорогая. Да океан здесь не спокойный, но если вы на машине или на байке то 10 или 20 минут в разные стороны и либо Унаватуна либо Велигма или Мирисса (тук тук также доставит ). Рестораны также есть в шаговой доступности. Я второй раз на Шри и есть с чем сравнить, поэтому очень советую. Отель стоит своих денег, не обычный сетевой и не убитый местный. Мы вернёмся сюда 100% Аааа и на 3м этаже обалденное патио с лежаками, просто огромное,этот бонус просто пушка"

"Останавливались на пару ночей, в целом все круто, номер выходил на улицу,где постоянно с ура до поздней ночи гоняли тук туки,шумно очень. Не выспались совсем. Зато все в зелени и живности,чуть дальше по улице гуляли павлины и лазили мартышки по проводам.Сервис отличный,персонал приветливый,свой пляж и лежаки). Завтраки супер!"

"Tri is one of the most wonderful hotels which I have stayed at, and I cannot recommend it highly enough! The hotel design is stunning, the grounds are beautifully maintained, and the bedrooms are spacious, fitted to a high standard, and benefit from gorgeous views.I only wish that I could have stayed longer!"

"Het is een super mooi hotel om te relaxen, alles is all inclusive en eten is echt super goed. Ook is er in de avond entertaiment. Meerdere zwembaden, aan het strand. Medewerkers zijn vriendelijk. Kamer met zeezicht aan te raden. In de omgeving is er niks te doen, er zijn ook geen winkels maar zijn wel excursies te boeken in het hotel"
