"The hotel fascia and lobby kinda rundown, room hallway and entrance is good but the room is a bit cramp (small) without tv. There's one letdown for me is the cigarettes smoke get into your room if nextdoor smoke. If you ain't choosy and this is a good location to all the attractions center point.
Overall I had a great experience with the close proximity to the surrounding amenities especially the subway line 5 & 6 just in front of the entrance path and walking distance to line 8. Bakery, KFC and budget franchise eatery 南城香(a must try) just around the corner. The supermarket is located opposite the road. Feel free to walk along the street to find more eateries, and clothing wear. BTW you can walk to the forbidden city in just 30 minutes."

"I have a midnight flight, thus I need to find a place to stay near the airport for my transfer. This hotel is only 15~20 minutes from the airport by taxi. I suggest you install the AliPay with the Didi Taxi installed so you can book a taxi at a really cheap price (Around 4 dollars) from the hotel to the airport. They also have a shuttle bus service if you depart in the morning. The hotel staff has limited English ability and seems awkward to foreigners. The facility is okay with the price that it offers. I suggest this place as a quick place to rest. They provided slippers, shampoo, soap, etc."

WWalk n SeeA Pleasant Stay at a Brand-New Hanting Hotel in Beijing.
I recently stayed at this Hanting Hotel in Beijing during a winter trip in December 2025, and it turned out to be a great budget-friendly choice. As a brand-new property (opened right around this time), everything felt fresh and modern, which made the experience stand out compared to older chain hotels.
The staff are friendly and pro-active to help considering my limited chinese. I give them 5 out 5 stars because thats is the same service level i get when i am in 5 star hotel.
Location:
The hotel is conveniently situated just outside a residential complex, literally a one-minute walk to the main street. It’s quiet yet accessible perfect for avoiding the hustle of central Beijing while still being close to amenities, shops, and transport options. No complaints here; it struck a nice balance between peace and convenience.
Facilities and Design:
The lobby is cozy and appropriately sized—not too grand, but welcoming. What surprised me pleasantly was how large the hotel actually is once you explore it. The overall design theme is warm and relaxing, with soothing tones and modern touches that create a calming atmosphere throughout.
Room Experience:
For the price point, the room was impressively spacious. It was sparkling clean (as expected from a new hotel), with a large, comfy bed topped with four plush pillow, perfect for a good night’s rest. There’s a big TV, and the bathroom is a decent size with a spacious shower and toilet.
Winter in Beijing can be brutal, but the heater worked wonderfully, keeping the room toasty and comfortable. The real highlight was the smart features: voice commands control everything, lights, curtains, TV, and other appliances. It felt futuristic and super convenient!
The One Drawback:
The only downside I encountered was a lingering smoke smell in the corridor near the elevators on the second night. Apparently, a guest had smoked while walking to his room, and while the staff responded quickly by spraying air freshener, the ventilation system didn’t fully clear it out.
I understand that smoking tolerance can be more lenient in some places in China (even in restaurants), but for a brand-new hotel in the capital, I hoped they’d enforce stricter no-smoking policies to set a better standard. It didn’t ruin the stay, but it was noticeable.
Final Thoughts
Overall, this Hanting Hotel exceeded my expectations for a budget chain, clean, modern, comfortable, and packed with thoughtful features like voice control and solid service from all the staffs. It’s a solid option for travelers wanting value without sacrificing quality. I’d stay again and recommend it, especially if you’re looking for something new and relaxing in Beijing.
Just hope they tighten up on the smoking rules moving forward!

To find the entrance of the hotel, you have to go alongside the left of the tower and use the lift as in the picture to go to level 5. The breakfast was a delicious buffet. The room with no external window was very quiet, clean, and functional, the mattresses large and firm but comfortable, we slept well. However, it was still a bit hot in November with no air-conditioning, so we had to leave the door open, as the corridor was cooler, but it was a bit strange for us. So, I would objectively rate the room 9/10 and the service 11/10, so 10/10 in total ;)

MMisafir KullanıcıHotel was about 15-20 min walk to the subway station, which consider pretty far. Not like what other review says it's within minutes walk. Will be difficult if you're pushing heavy luggage. Do take note that nearest station is DongZhimen station which by far, I've not found any elevator nor downward escalator, which will make it difficult when going to airport by subway train. There should be one downward escalator somewhere but eventually we decided to take a cab down which takes about $160 yuan for a 6 seater. A lot of eateries around the hotel area and a pharmacy next door which makes it convenient if touch wood , any co-traveller falls sick. But not a very friendly pharmacist there.
Our hotel room is the bigger one with projector with movies. Just need to use WeChat app to scan to access.
Basic stuff provided in the hotel. Anything else, you have to ask , eg shaver, or floss etc but no safe and fridge , wardrobe though.
There is a Korean restaurant in the hotel which makes it convenient if you decide not to dine out.
Customer service wise, housekeeping staff were friendly and helpful, accommodating our request here and there. Except one day-shift front desk who is not too helpful nor friendly. Sometimes when we asked for extra bottles of water or tissue packs, she would be reluctant and ask for our room number to keep track of our usage. As my co-travellers caught a flu in between, we need more tissues. At one time, when I asked for two more packs of tissues, in the end she came up to tell me hotel run out of tissue and can only give me one pack, the rest is toilet rolls. But when later, I approach the housekeeping staff, the cleaner lady gladly handed me what I needed. Too bad I didn't know the name of the unfriendly front desk. But she's the smaller built size one.
On the contrary, one night shift front desk is to totally extremely helpful and friendly, she goes by the name ”Xiao Li staff number 000”. As my co-travellers fall sick in the middle of the night, running fever and catching cold and cough, I have nowhere to buy medication. She helped me to order online with ”mei tuan” which we foreigners have no way to order unless with a local number. She even offered me more water and tissue packs without me requesting. The next early morning, when I walked past the reception to get my breakfast, she even asked how my co-travellers are doing and whether they recovering. On the day of departure, she helped me with the booking of a cab to airport and gave me a few pointers going to airport. Her presence make me gives an extra star to this hotel. She is definitely the best staff in the hotel.
Overall, if you are travelling alone or with adults companion, this hotel is considered decent but with children, you may want to be prepared to walk more or take a cab to any of your destinations.

Otelin hemen altında bir süpermarket bulunmaktadır. Yakınlarında birkaç kafe bulunmaktadır. Personel güler yüzlü, kendileriyle online tercüman aracılığıyla iletişim kurduk, ama bu konuda hiçbir zorluk yaşamadık.
Benim odam küçük tek kişilikti, tek kişi için yeterliydi ama iki kişiyseniz daha büyük bir oda seçmeniz daha iyi olur, otelin böyle odaları var.

MMisafir KullanıcıOverall good experience. We visited in April so it was during the off-peak season. Because it was a quieter time of year, the hotel was doing some renovations - hopefully this means in summer 2025 the hotel should feel very new! Unfortunately, this meant the first room we were allocated was slightly old and had a view of the renovations on the rooftop (I’ve included two photos at the end), but after asking the receptionists if there was any way we could swap rooms, they were super kind, understanding, and apologetic and happily moved us into a new room which felt more modern and clean! The hotel itself is really close to the old part of the city which has a gorgeous food market as well as a fun night market. There are lots of local food stalls around the area. We rented the ‘Hello! Bikes’ to get around most places and it was super easy! I will say if you don’t speak Mandarin then come prepared with some sort of translation app!

Odada sigara kokusu var. ”Sigara içilmez!!” yazmasına rağmen Uyurken burnumu kapatacak şekilde maske takıp uyuyorum. Personel hiç İngilizce konuşamıyor.
Ama lokasyon 100/100.
- Karşı tarafta Tian Tan var. Hemen caddeyi geçin ve giriş biletinizi alın.
- Metroya çok yakın. Yer altından çıktığınızda binayı hemen görebiliyorsunuz. Ama otelin girişi binanın arka tarafında, biraz gizemli.
- Ön binada, bodrum ve birinci katta restoranlar, kafeler, marketler, hediyelik eşya dükkanları, bakkallar, KFC, güveçler bulunmaktadır.
- BTS'e yakın. Sanat galerisi gibi. Ayrıca bir metro da var.
Genel olarak çok kullanışlı.

Kaldığım odadaki klima maksimumda açıldı ve iki saat sonra sıcaklık 23 santigrat dereceye ulaştı, bu da aşırı kuruydu. Rüzgarın hızı kesildikten sonra sıcaklık hızla 20 santigrat dereceye düştü. soğuk ve kuruydu ve bütün gece pek uyuyamadım. Hemen eşimi ve yakınlarda yemek yiyen arkadaşlarımı aradım, mağazayla yaptıkları pazarlık sonucunda bize yeni bir oda açmaları, eşimin arkadaşının da elektriği olmayan odada kalması yönünde anlaştılar. Oda değiştirdikten kısa bir süre sonra elektriği olmayan odada da elektrik vardı! Çok sinirlendim, dolu değil mi? Tamiri imkansız değil mi? İkimize de zorbalık mı yapıyorsun? Polisi aradığımız için bizi mi cezalandırıyorsunuz? Aslında çocukları dinlenmeye götürmek için çıkmıştım ama bu kadar yürek parçalayıcı bir şeyle karşılaşacağımı beklemiyordum! Hayatımda ilk kez polisi aradığım an gerçekten unutulmazdı!
