"We absolutely loved this hotel in the center of Dali Ancient City! We chatted with the hotel employees for a long time, and they taught us about Dali culture and the meaning behind Dali’s traditional clothing. We were allowed to try on the clothing, and they spent over a half an hour helping us take pictures. The rooms are incredibly clean, and our bed even had a heater. 10/10 experience, we will definitely stay here next time we visit Dali!"

"Good location. Room is basic. Bed is very hard and air-conditioner sounded like it was going to fall off the wall 😅 This is a no frills room. The staff are very nice and checkin was super easy. I think the room price should be cheaper due to not providing towels or housekeeping. OK room for a quick night."

"Travel with friends total 6 people of us. We stayed at this homestays for one night. The homestays exceeded our expectations in term of service and location. It was a comfortable and hassle free experience. The location is perfect because the homestay is 5 minutes walk to Dali Ancient Town and foreigner street. The room was modern, clean and can fix 6 people in one room. The owner and her husband were friendly and check in & check out was smooth. Her husband helped us carry and lift our begs to the homestays. This homestay also have service for pick up and drop off and the owner helped us to booked transport for pick up & drop off from Dali Railway Station to the homestay. The charges for transport are reasonable. Overall, we had a great experiance and i’d recommeded this homestays for travelers who want comfort and convenience."

"I have to thank the male staff who went to great lengths to make my stay as fantastic as possible. He helped to book local tours for me knowing that I had difficulty conversing in Mandarin. The location of this hotel is a plus point. It is close to the train station and an endless array of food and amenities nearby. The room is clean and comfortable to unwind for a good night's sleep. "First of all, the hotel accepts foreigners (as of April 2024). It's located a few minutes' walk from the train station, and the bus to the old town area takes about an hour. There are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The room was large and in good condition. The staff was kind and helpful, allowing me to store my bag after check out. Perhaps the only issue is that the sound insulation is not great. Overall, great value for money."

AAnonim KullanıcıWe stayed at this hotel for three nights, and honestly, it was one of the best places we stayed at during our trip to China. Everything was spotless, so clean, fresh, and pleasantly scented. The modern design is tasteful and well thought out, and it feels like every detail was considered. The rooms are spacious, the bed is incredibly comfortable with crisp, clean linens, and there’s even a huge projector screen on the wall. One entire side of the room is a window, flooding the space with natural light. Simply perfect! The staff were welcoming, kind, and always willing to help. While they don’t speak English, communication was very easy through a translation app. In short, this hotel is a dream. We highly, highly recommend it. You won’t regret staying here!

QQing YunMy stay here is exceptionally satisfactory because of the services. The owners are a couple with a cute daughter. They are very supportive. My bus from Kunming to Dali reached the hotel at 1am. They were staying awake to keep us updated on the route and the husband rode a escooter to take me to the noodle store to buy food at 2am. Very heart melting. Although we are foreigners and not familiar with China, he patiently supported us whenever we asked. 💖 There are free pastry and fruits at the courtyard so that you can sit there to enjoy a chill rest. When we checkout, he gave us some souvenirs as a gift, and help to carry our luggage to the taxi location. So sweet ☺️ Considering the room, very clean and smart and compact. The bed is super large and comfortable. Regarding the location, as I observe in Dali Ancient Town, most of them are not accessible by car as they are located in small alleys, which requires a bit walk to reach the street. But no need to worry about the luggage, the hotel will support with all their hearts. 🥰

SSam AussiOur stay at this mini hotel near Erhai Lake was truly exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and immediately felt at home. The hospitality was outstanding, with the owner and their friends and family creating a beautiful evening gathering that we will never forget. The delicious noodles, fruits and the morning Pu'er tea were delightful touches that added to the overall experience. The hotel itself is new and beautifully designed, blending modern amenities with the rich traditions of a courtyard setting. The rooms were immaculate, superbly clean, and very comfortable, equipped with everything a traveler could need. They even helped us park our car nearby, which was very convenient. The star of it all was the wonderful lady owner. She was always ready to jump up and help with whatever we needed. We don't speak Chinese, but communication was easy using online translation. In the morning owner took us for a walk near Erhai Lake, which was a memorable highlight of our stay. The location of the hotel is perfect, situated between the rice fields and the lake shore, just a one-minute walk to the boardwalk along the lake. We left feeling amazed and recharged, and we sincerely hope that our travels will bring us back to this wonderful hotel near Dali ancient city again.

MMisafir KullanıcıThe Chunrili is at attractive hotel with open hallways and a courtyard in the center, featuring a charming stream and garden, where kids can have lots of fun and adults can admire the charm. I had a very divided experience. My room was large, the bed comfortable, the bathroom large and hot water ample. The A/C worked fine. All good. But... The rooms have essentially a wall of glass (big windows) facing the open hallways and the courtyard. This means any noise at all echoes up the stone walls of the courtyard and is not dampened at all. My room also lacked a desk and a chair, both of which I missed greatly. Finally, on one especially rainy night (rain being quite common in DaLi), I was awaken by staff pounding on my door: my room was flooding! Water in the open hallway was seeping under my door and onto my floor. I've never experienced the like. And since no luggage rack is provided, either, it was pure luck that my bags weren't soaked. This flooding must happen rather often, and is a serious design flaw. Now, the owners were helpful and charming generally, providing our long-stay group free transport from the DaLI train station. And they keep a fleet of electric scooters that guests may borrow and use to get around. That was wonderful. Finally, the Chunrili is not near much, and in particular, restaurants are rather rare in its neighborhood. Those that exist I would recommend, but more variety was wanted.

MMisafir KullanıcıI really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The front desk manager was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Although the entrance to the hotel is not as inviting as other hotels, the room itself was very nice. It had all the amenities I would expect, including really nice (seemingly local) loose leaf tea to brew. The wifi was very strong and stable and easy to set up. I also appreciate that the shower had high pressure and hot water. The bed was comfortable too... with the kind of firm mattress that I prefer. I should note that the location of the hotel is in the modern part of Dali, which is about a 30 minute taxi ride from the old Dali town. If you really want to be close to the Old Town or have picturesque views of the lake, then you should probably choose a different hotel. But what I like about this hotel's location is that it's very near to the train station (I walked from the train station to the hotel with all of my suitcases in about 10-15 minutes; no problem). The hotel is also only about 10-15 walk from the lake, so if you intend to ride a bike around the lake then you can rent a bike near the hotel or near the lake park and then find your route from there. Also, there is a variety of good, affordable restaurants to choose from in the neighborhoods around the hotel, with better prices compared to the touristy restaurants in Old Dali. All in all, I found this hotel to be a good value.

However, aside from this issue, the hotel is very nice and modern. It's also exceptionally clean. Additionally, the receptionist is very accommodating and helpful.

MMisafir KullanıcıWe rented the Garden Deluxe Room, with a mountain view. We find the description and pictures were accurately advertised, and the service was impeccable. We were very pleased with our rental, as it was private, clean and orderly. The hotel is conveniently located within the Dali Ancient Town, close to Biai Road and Renmin Road intersection (see picture of map). The morning and night views from the terrace were stunning. The Dali Ancient Town is as lively as you would imagine, with tons of food and shopping options. Our experience in Dali was awesome, with it's majestic mountains, beautiful lake, vibrant towns and peaceful villages. However, the best part of this stay was our interactions with the hotel owners, who are a lovely couple. They are good people - very kind, helpful and approachable. Although we had to use an English to Mandarin translation app for most of our conversations, they were patient and made recommendations that we really enjoyed. They helped us book a tour of Erhai Lake and we had a wonderful time sightseeing with the bus tour company (highly recommended if you don't know where to start exploring). We also took their scooter bike to explore the Three Pagodas on our own and drove around the lake afterwards. Please consider renting their scooter bike, as it was super fun and the price is very affordable. As language is a barrier for us, they not only helped us book our ride to Lijiang, but they also gave us a hotel recommendation, which their son runs. To us, they are very trustworthy, so we're sure we will have another pleasant stay in Lijiang. After all, it's not how clean the hotel is, or how beautiful the surroundings are, it's the people we meet along the way that makes it a wonderul trip experience. If there is another hotel rating for overall hotel experience, it would be a 10/5 for us. The owners definitely made our short stay very comfortable and our adventures amazing - thank you so much! We would definitely come back to this hotel if we are in this area again!

There is a lift. The room and toilet are clean. There are basic amenities like body shower, toothbrush,hair shampoo,comb, mineral water,kettle and tv provided. I get free breakfast. They serve plain porridge with condiments, boiled egg,steam corn and sweet potatoes,bread and buns,fresh fruits and warm soy milk.The food is yummy and delicious. Didi is available all the time and easy to assess from the hotel.You may also be greeted by fresh fruit sellers outside the hotel.We do buy some fresh grapes. The hotel reception Ms Xiao Yang is very friendly and helpful.She helped to book Didi to Muslim restaurant for us.We also asked her for help to order a packed lunch because it was raining and we couldn't get out. Despite her work shift ending,she still waited for us to make sure we were safely back to the railway station. I hope her boss will recognise the hospitality she showed. I recommend this hotel to tourists. You will not hear the noise outside the hotel during your stay. Hopefully the management can put the hotel name signboard in english so it is easier for tourists to book Didi. Overall I was satisfied with the room and the warm hospitality the hotel provides. They were suprised that we (foreigners) could find out their homestay. You can chat with them via wechat (weixin) for any help and check out. They support late check out if possible. The room meets our expectation for low budget travelers. Beautiful garden, friendly cats, a little bit old smell of old house but it does not affect our good experience. Thanks for the warm welcome!
