This's Laura’s Hostel ,Everybody on the road ,Welcome here,This will be your second home.
"It's up hill from the main road, it seems close with the maps but it's not, so keep that on mind. It was cheap, they have a shared kitchen, I stayed 4 nights and just saw the owner two times. There should be somebody there waiting for the guests, but I found good fellows there. The mattresses are hard as a rock and I think that's in all the hostels in Yunan."

"The hotel is really well situated, close to the Ancient Town. From the Dali's Railway Station, you can take the bus 8 (~1h & ¥3). Electric scooters were available for rental (¥60 a day for one person) which makes it very convenient to visit Dali and access the Three Pagodas. You can also leave your baggage after check-out. All in all, a very pleasant stay."

"The owners are incredibly welcoming and friendly. Beyond the comfortable stay, we were pleasantly surprised by the extra perks: a welcome fruit plate and a complimentary one-day tour for one guest (with a reasonable 50 RMB fee for an additional person). Just be sure to book the tour at least a day in advance.
Note: No English speaking guide, likely, and the schedule is quite tight but a great way to all major sites in Dali in one day. Lunch included was not really good, but it’s understandable for the price. However, after lunch, you will go to Xizhou old town, you can buy Xizhou baba and some snacks there.
They also offer a free 80-minute foot massage at the spa, but note the specific terms: it’s only available between midnight and 6:00 AM and must be booked two days before your check-in date. The rooms are clean, simple, and tastefully decorated, and the location is excellent."

"Wonderful staff, extremely friendly and helped us fix issues with our WeChat account. Great location just outside the Ancient Town and in a quiet neighbourhood. Beautiful room - very modern, clean and spacious. Free e-scooter rental is a great bonus. Only negative is we would have preferred normal towels instead of disposable towels (albeit a new one daily, and we didn’t ask if it was possible to change to normal towels)."

"I had such a good time at the hostel! The vibe there is super comfortable, chill and the people i have met travellers and owners were also really friendly. Especially the owner did so much to help me! As a Chinese German on my first solo trip in China he helped me organise so much and i'm so thankful!
He helped me organise a ”pingche” to Shaxi, which is similar to an ubershare and when i wasn't able to explain something in chinese we would text each other via wechat to communicate.
I would definitely come back again. Thank you again for the great stay and all the help!"

AAnonim KullanıcıWe stayed at this hotel for three nights, and honestly, it was one of the best places we stayed at during our trip to China. Everything was spotless, so clean, fresh, and pleasantly scented. The modern design is tasteful and well thought out, and it feels like every detail was considered. The rooms are spacious, the bed is incredibly comfortable with crisp, clean linens, and there’s even a huge projector screen on the wall. One entire side of the room is a window, flooding the space with natural light. Simply perfect!
The staff were welcoming, kind, and always willing to help. While they don’t speak English, communication was very easy through a translation app.
In short, this hotel is a dream. We highly, highly recommend it. You won’t regret staying here!

He helped us with our luggage and showed us to our room personally. Understanding that we know limited Chinese, he took the time to slowly show us the features of the room - including an automated voice command tool and a projector for watching movies. He also learned we have an early check out and spent time using WeChat to share places where we can find breakfast early in the morning. As for the hotel room itself, it's specious, modern, and well equipped. The facilities are modern and very well-kept. The location is perfect for us - it's a short 5 minute walk from the main tourist area of Dali Old Town - this means the area had more locals, quieter, and more authentic. I highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again next time we visit Dali.

SSam AussiOur stay at this mini hotel near Erhai Lake was truly exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and immediately felt at home. The hospitality was outstanding, with the owner and their friends and family creating a beautiful evening gathering that we will never forget. The delicious noodles, fruits and the morning Pu'er tea were delightful touches that added to the overall experience.
The hotel itself is new and beautifully designed, blending modern amenities with the rich traditions of a courtyard setting. The rooms were immaculate, superbly clean, and very comfortable, equipped with everything a traveler could need. They even helped us park our car nearby, which was very convenient.
The star of it all was the wonderful lady owner. She was always ready to jump up and help with whatever we needed. We don't speak Chinese, but communication was easy using online translation. In the morning owner took us for a walk near Erhai Lake, which was a memorable highlight of our stay.
The location of the hotel is perfect, situated between the rice fields and the lake shore, just a one-minute walk to the boardwalk along the lake. We left feeling amazed and recharged, and we sincerely hope that our travels will bring us back to this wonderful hotel near Dali ancient city again.

I had a very divided experience. My room was large, the bed comfortable, the bathroom large and hot water ample. The A/C worked fine. All good. But...
The rooms have essentially a wall of glass (big windows) facing the open hallways and the courtyard. This means any noise at all echoes up the stone walls of the courtyard and is not dampened at all. My room also lacked a desk and a chair, both of which I missed greatly. Finally, on one especially rainy night (rain being quite common in DaLi), I was awaken by staff pounding on my door: my room was flooding! Water in the open hallway was seeping under my door and onto my floor. I've never experienced the like. And since no luggage rack is provided, either, it was pure luck that my bags weren't soaked. This flooding must happen rather often, and is a serious design flaw.
Now, the owners were helpful and charming generally, providing our long-stay group free transport from the DaLI train station. And they keep a fleet of electric scooters that guests may borrow and use to get around. That was wonderful.
Finally, the Chunrili is not near much, and in particular, restaurants are rather rare in its neighborhood. Those that exist I would recommend, but more variety was wanted.

The house is beautiful, well decorated, clean and quiet.
The location is also super good (everything in town is walkable from here).
The owner is just a lovely guy, super friendly, chill, happy to help you and to share some good moments with you (despite the language barrier, but it worked well with a translator).
We met some of the owner's friends and we shared so much time all together, everyone was so welcoming with us, one of the best memory of our travel.

MMisafir KullanıcıWe rented the Garden Deluxe Room, with a mountain view. We find the description and pictures were accurately advertised, and the service was impeccable. We were very pleased with our rental, as it was private, clean and orderly. The hotel is conveniently located within the Dali Ancient Town, close to Biai Road and Renmin Road intersection (see picture of map). The morning and night views from the terrace were stunning. The Dali Ancient Town is as lively as you would imagine, with tons of food and shopping options. Our experience in Dali was awesome, with it's majestic mountains, beautiful lake, vibrant towns and peaceful villages.
However, the best part of this stay was our interactions with the hotel owners, who are a lovely couple. They are good people - very kind, helpful and approachable. Although we had to use an English to Mandarin translation app for most of our conversations, they were patient and made recommendations that we really enjoyed. They helped us book a tour of Erhai Lake and we had a wonderful time sightseeing with the bus tour company (highly recommended if you don't know where to start exploring). We also took their scooter bike to explore the Three Pagodas on our own and drove around the lake afterwards. Please consider renting their scooter bike, as it was super fun and the price is very affordable. As language is a barrier for us, they not only helped us book our ride to Lijiang, but they also gave us a hotel recommendation, which their son runs. To us, they are very trustworthy, so we're sure we will have another pleasant stay in Lijiang.
After all, it's not how clean the hotel is, or how beautiful the surroundings are, it's the people we meet along the way that makes it a wonderul trip experience. If there is another hotel rating for overall hotel experience, it would be a 10/5 for us. The owners definitely made our short stay very comfortable and our adventures amazing - thank you so much! We would definitely come back to this hotel if we are in this area again!

There is a lift. The room and toilet are clean. There are basic amenities like body shower, toothbrush,hair shampoo,comb, mineral water,kettle and tv provided.
I get free breakfast. They serve plain porridge with condiments, boiled egg,steam corn and sweet potatoes,bread and buns,fresh fruits and warm soy milk.The food is yummy and delicious.
Didi is available all the time and easy to assess from the hotel.You may also be greeted by fresh fruit sellers outside the hotel.We do buy some fresh grapes.
The hotel reception Ms Xiao Yang is very friendly and helpful.She helped to book Didi to Muslim restaurant for us.We also asked her for help to order a packed lunch because it was raining and we couldn't get out. Despite her work shift ending,she still waited for us to make sure we were safely back to the railway station. I hope her boss will recognise the hospitality she showed.
I recommend this hotel to tourists. You will not hear the noise outside the hotel during your stay.
Hopefully the management can put the hotel name signboard in english so it is easier for tourists to book Didi. Overall I was satisfied with the room and the warm hospitality the hotel provides.

MMargauxTI booked a studio on the 3rd for 2 nights and was so disappointed that it was surprisingly not available when I arrived. They gave me another room, clean and comfortable but on the ground floor with no natural light and right besides the reception where people have been loud until late. The next day I discovered the room I initially booked was occupied by other guests. As long as they were leaving, I insisted on changing so I could have the room for the 2nd night, it was wonderful. That's too bad that this happened, rooms shouldn't be sold online if it's not available anymore.. I would have given a 10/10 if only I had the room I booked since the beginning
