"Had a lovely stay here! I was in a 12 bed dorm but the room is very spacious and has a private bathroom/shower, all super clean, and then bed was comfy. The only thing is that the bedlight makes a sound every time it’s turned on/off: it’s funny but I was a bit worried to bother other guests. Ah, I was also able to do my laundry with no fees and was even given a little welcome bag. The location although not within the city walls is close to several bus stops and one can ride a bike easy to all the major attractions ~ which was a lovely way to explore Datong. The best thing is the staff though: incredibly helpful and friendly. On my last day they let me stay past the checkout time so that I could keep on working using their WiFi which was a massive massive help, and offered to lend me an umbrella and drive me as the rain was so heavy. Most def recommend staying here when you visit Datong!"

"I was greeted with a fruit platter during check-in, which was a wonderful welcome gesture considering I left my home about 24 hours earlier, traveling non-stop from California to Datong, China. The Inn provides a wonderful experience for the first-time foreign visitor. The interior decor has that Chinese charm consisting of artwork, a book display, an aquarium with an auspicious collection of 8 large fishes (carp, I think), in-room tea set with an on-table electric stove, which would be unique to most Westerners. The glass flooring adds an extraordinary appeal since I have never experienced that in a hotel before, and I have traveled to dozens of countries. The Inn is well located, a short bus ride to Datong Railway Station (for non-high-speed rail travel)*, and a short taxi ride to Datong South Railway Station (for high-speed rail travel)**. It is just next to Datong City Wall. You can walk along the top of the City Wall at no cost. A 10-20 minute walk takes you to nearly all the attractions within the ancient City Wall. Here you will also find a variety of restaurants serving local food as well as souvenir shops. There is also a small shop that sells sundry items including drinks (beer included) within a 5-minute walk from the Inn. Across from this sundry shop, is a shop that specializes in ancient Chinese clothing (Hanfu dress). They can dress you up, cosmetics included. The Inn provides directions to Yujian Yun Gang - a popular destination for travelers to Datong. Here you will see ancient Buddhist cave art, including large and tall (several stories tall) sculptures. It takes two bus rides to get there, 1RMB per ride. My booking choice was for either a guest room on the 1st or 2nd floor but was assigned a wonderful 2nd-floor guest room. The owners of the Inn were exceptionally friendly. I met both the mother and her daughter. My room was professionally cleaned and provided with drinking bottled water daily. If I return to Datong in the future, I will certainly book a room at this Inn. *I took a train from this station to travel south to Xinzhou after checking out. **I arrived in Datong from Beijing Daxing International Airport"

"Basic and very clean place. Location looks tricky if you follow the maps but is actually very convenient since the neighbourhood has an entrance through Weidu Avenue (Main road). The owner is always willing to help and friendly. A great deal for the price"

"ห้องพักตกแต่งดี สะอาด หมอนที่นอนหลับได้สบาย อุปกรณ์ต่างๆใช้ได้ดี มีSmartcontral ห้องสะดวกสบายมากใช้เสียงเรียกเปิดปิดเพลง,ม่าน,ไฟภายในห้อง,แอร์ หรือยังเปิดปิดด้วยสวิตช์ก็ยังได้ ทำเลที่ตั้งดี ใกล้ประตูเข้าเมืองเก่าค้าถง ระยะเดินสบาย ด้านล่างอาคารมีห้างParkson ด้านหลังตึกมีสวนสาธารณะต้าถง มีประตูเข้าสวนอยู่ด้านข้างตึก หัวค่ำมีตลาดขายอาหารราคามิตรภาพดีอยู่ใกล้ๆ เจ้าหน้าที่ของที่พักบริการดีมาก ตอนเช็คอินเนื่องจากไม่ได้ติดต่อล่วงหน้าเลยไม่รู้lobbyอยู่ไหน พอถึงอาคารที่พักก็ติดต่อเจ้าหน้าที่ได้รอไม่นานเจ้าหน้าที่ก็มาพาไปห้องพักที่จองมา ซึ่งที่ถูกควรติดต่อห้องพักก่อนเดินทางมาถึงให้เรียบร้อยการเช็คอินน่าจะสะดวกกว่านี้"

"This is a pretty basic hotel, as one would expect for the price. But the location is very decent, not far at all from the old city, facing the river, and surrounded by bbq restaurants. Check in was pretty easy, which is not always a given when you're a foreigner staying at a cheap hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I have to mark it down for the large stain on the bedroom wall, however. And the windows are very thin. My room backed on to a square with people playing games and chatting from the early hours of the morning, and there was no relief from the sound. My bathroom also had an odd corridor to nowhere. Not a complaint, just a little odd!"

"Es un Hostel nuevo, maravilloso, me ha encantado en todos los aspectos. Empezando por la amabilidad del dueño y de los trabajadores, sin tener que hacerlo siempre me invitaban a algo de comer. Igualmente, cuando necesitaba información sobre la ciudad, se preocupaban de buscarla si no la sabían. También tiene precios económicos, pero no a cambio de calidad, merece mucho la pena, la calidad del Hostel es máxima. La ubicación es perfecta, estás al lado de la muralla, además, en la zona tienes restaurantes, supermercados... El Hostel es muy amplio, limpio, cómodo, yo he ampliado mi estancia varios días para ver la ciudad y alrededores tranquilamente. Las camas son amplias con su iluminación, sus enchufes estanterías y privacidad (sabiendo que es un Hostel y compartes habitación. Los baños y duchas también son amplias y limpias. También hay taquillas amplias y gratuitas para guardar cosas. El Hostel también tiene cine. Muchas gracias por todo"
