Overall, i have a wonderful stay. I would like to thank you for all the receptionist that doing a good job. Helped us alot during the stay and even go for extra mile for pushing the luggage for us. However, i would also like to highlight room service should be improve. In term of making sure everything replenish and clean. After room service, there still hair on the floor and sometimes toilet paper didn’t even replenish.

The hotel name is a little misleading as the name outside doesn’t actually say “the yard hotel”… it says “Pierre Palace Hotel” so it can be a little confusing to find the first time you arrive. It is very close to the Entrance of Qianemen Ave Security checkpoint where your didi driver will drop you off and you will have to walk a short 100 meters to get to the hotel, which is directly across from Lawson’s Convenience store. The location is 10/10  on the bustling street of Qiananmen Ave. Do not miss your chance to go to Michelin star “Quan de Jude” Roasted duck restaurant, which is well known in Beijing and just down the street. The staff here are very helpful, especially Mr. Zeng who is able to speak Cantonese and help provide us with instructions and information. If you need to communicate in English only, a translator app will help tremendously. We love the style and decor of this hotel, it has a classic yet charming interior. We originally booked an inside room without windows, but during the check-in process, they offered a room with windows with better ventilation at no extra charge for our comfort. The only downside is that they do not have an on-site restaurant. If you booked a room with free breakfast, they will give you a breakfast voucher and you go to another hotel nearby. You can also have the option for them to deliver the meal to you at 7 or 8 AM And they will hang it on the door knob of your room without knocking to disturb you. The breakfast menu selection was not our favourite. If we return to Beijing, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

Very good and professional staff, very helpful and friendly. I was happy to stay in this hotel 3 nights Location is excellent if need to travel using train. Only 10min walk to platforms. These two ladies help me a lot during all my stay. Would like to say personal thanks to them( photo with names attached)

Ben ve eşim oteli oldukça beğendik. Otel görevlileri güler yüzlü ve yardımseverdi. Herhangi bir isteğimiz, ihtiyacımız ya da problemimiz olduğunda hızlı bir şekilde sonuçlandırmak için ellerinden geleni yaptılar. Odalar geniş, ferah ve temizdi. Arzu ettiğimiz takdirde her gün odamız temizleniyor; çarşaflarımız, havlularımız ve kişisel setlerimiz değiştirilebiliyordu. Otelin konumu son derece iyiydi. Metro 10 dakika yürüme mesafesindeydi. Otelin önünde kullanabileceğiniz bisikletler mevcuttu. Şehrin merkezi noktalarına bisikletle, taksiyle ve hatta yürüyerek ulaşma imkanı vardı. Son olarak, otelin bulunduğu konumun arka sokaklarında bisikletle veya yürüyerek Pekin'in yerli halkının evlerini görmek ve onlarla tanışmak mümkün! Otelin en alt katında spor salonu, bilardo salonu ve mutfak hizmetleri mevcuttu. Odalarda da elektrikli ocak, mikrodalga fırın, ekmek kızartma makinesi ve kurutmalı çamaşır makinesi mevcuttu. Genel olarak bu otelde kalmanın Pekin seyahatimizi daha keyifli bir hale getirdiğini söyleyebilirim.

The room was clean, and although the staff spoke limited English, they provided great service. The hotel is in a good location, making it easy to walk to various spots in the city and close to the pick-up point.

The room was amazing 👌. BUT the hotel lied about the entertainment on trip.com. They have pictures of an amazing pool and gym. When I went to ask about them at reception. They said the gym and pool have closed down. It was so disappointing. Extremely. I also had my towels changed everyday because they have holes in the bath towels and even though they changed it. All the towels had holes. It was shocking 😱😱😱. All the towels were tattered and torn. The wifi had extremely slow connection. The only good thing about this was the room size. That was as the pictures depicted.😪😪😪😪 . The hotel states on trip.com that you can use the laundry room. But they dont say that you need to buy or bring your own washing liquid 🤐🤐.

A solid budget option (definitely not for those used to five-star luxury). We arrived around 7 a.m. and were allowed early check-in without any issues or extra charges. The room was very basic but clean. Towels were changed and the room was cleaned every day. The nearest metro station is about a 5-minute walk away. There’s also a shopping mall, plenty of cafes, restaurants, and a supermarket within easy walking distance. Qianmen Street and Tiananmen Square are about a 30-minute walk or just 2–3 metro stops away. One important thing: practically no one at the front desk speaks English, so have a translation app (WeChat, Baidu Translate, or Google Translate) ready — it will save you a lot of time.
