"It was a terrible experience staying at this hotel. The in-room facilities seemed acceptable at first; however, after taking a shower, water spilled out of the bathroom and flooded the room because the bathroom and the room were poorly separated, leaving a gap that allowed water to flow out.
The location is convenient, as it is only a 3–5 minute walk to Nanping Street and about a 5–10 minute walk from Kunming Railway Station."

"There was a food street nearby (longjiangyuan), just around 10 minute walking. It was nice to find something to warm-up at cold night when I just arrived. The location was so convenient with lots of restaurants around. Staff are friendly and helpful. However, the wall is thin so you can hear noise when people walk and talk at corridor."

"Very value for money. Airport transfer was included in our rate, which was great and convenient. Lobby and corridor is not as well maintained as the room, but honestly the room was a pleasant surprise. Wet - dry separation can be improved especially between shower and toilet bowl. Met our needs as a quick stay when we landed in Kunming in the middle of the night, before we transited to another city."

清清香The room is not big but very cosy and comfortable..
The bed is super comfy and we have a good sleep till almost noon.
The hotel staffs are friendly and helpful. As our return flight is at night 9+. We were delighted when they extended our stay till 6pm without charges. This is the 1st time we stay in this hotel chain , and we have decided to give them priority whenever we are looking for hotel in other cities in China.

TTraveling SamI had an early morning flight scheduled out of Kunming International Airport. I wanted to ensure that I didn’t miss the flight and this hotel is conveniently located on level 2 of the airport with the departures located 1 level above. I was greeted politely by staff that didn’t speak English, but they used a translator app and we were able to communicate the necessary information. The room was around the corner from check-in. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom had all the necessities. If you need a reasonably priced hotel near the airport this is a good choice.

AAnonim KullanıcıThe hotel is very well located right in the city center. Most attractions, cafés, and shopping areas are within a 10–15 minute walk, making it super convenient for city walks and casual exploration.
The lobby is a highlight — spacious with large seating areas that are great for chilling or hanging out with friends. There’s also a hot/cold water dispenser and ice available at the lobby, which was very thoughtful and convenient.
The concierge staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. They assisted us with all the Taobao items we purchased and even gave us a small leaving gift (a tea pack), which was a lovely and unexpected touch.
The room itself was okay overall. Ventilation was good, but there were a few issues: the lighting and decorations around the spa tub showed signs of rust, and the one-time-use bathtub sheet broke during first use, with the stickers not sticking well. The bathroom is also very transparent — you can literally see everything, including when your travel mate is using the toilet, which may be uncomfortable for some guests.
As for the smart devices, the 天猫精灵 felt a bit unresponsive compared to 小度, which worked better. We also couldn’t quite figure out how the curtains worked throughout the stay.
Despite some room-related quirks, the excellent location, friendly concierge service, and comfortable common areas made it an overall good stay. Would still recommend, especially for friends traveling together who prioritize location and service over room details.

LLoud_SpeakerHotel is right in the street of Kunming Old Street, which will require a few mins walk from drop off point with luggage. Flooring of street is rough so do expect some bumpy ride for your luggage. Very close proximity to major places like Cui Hu, Au Cheng Building and others attractions. As the hotel is converted from old building structure, the noise isolation is not that well and we could hear people shouting and banging next door. Highlighted to the staff and it was swiftly handled with very good service recovery. There was no floor heating so the initial acclimation for us was rather cold. Overall the stay was good with some room for improvement. Service was good nonetheless.

伊伊州伊人Overall we are happy with our stay. It is in the business district area, but there are any eateries and shops around, and subway station is about two blocks away. It is walkable to the park.
The front desk girl (小杨)was friendly and helpful, and gave us free breakfast voucher for the next morning. Breakfast is very good, offer decent variety.
There are construction going on nearby and it was noisy; and 3AM there were loud music playing for about 5 minutes, like those the school playing for the students to exercise in the morning. Otherwise it is a pleasant stay.

SSoloTravelAnnaI recently spent two nights at this accommodation, and while there were not many foreigners around, I still found it to be a decent experience.
Upon arrival, I received a coupon, which was a nice touch, but I found that the minimum spending requirement made it less useful for solo travelers like myself. I had requested a bottom bunk but ended up with a top one, and I found the bed to be quite hard. However, the provided curtains added a nice level of privacy.
On the plus side, they offer lockers, towels, and slippers, which is convenient. The bathroom, however, could use a bit more attention as it needed cleaning, and I noticed that the shower had a leak.
Overall, considering the price, I can't really complain too much. The staff at the front desk were friendly and spoke English, which made communication easy. Just a heads-up: there are two flights of stairs, and you'll need to walk through the restaurant/bar area to access the lift to the rooms.
All in all, it’s a budget-friendly option that meets basic needs!

Plenty of USB ports, which was useful for me to charge my drone equipment.
Good noodles for breakfast.
20 minutes ride to Stone Forest. 30 minutes away from a train station.
Food attention to details. Curtains have magnetic pins, so the light does not pass though holes in the morning.
Service wise, restaurant personnel was good. Both days evening shift at reception was great, while morning had some wrong attitude (3.15-3.17).
Overall, decent price value.

We saw a buggy drove past us, the driver just sit there, but never offered us the buggy ride. Sorry but it was disappointing.

- within 5-8 mins walk to ErJi subway station (Line1),
which is just 6 stops from Kunming Railway Station.
- hotel occupies the top few floors of an office tower building which is part of the Dadu Motian office-cum-shopping mall. Ie. I could leave my room, head downstairs, walk into the mall, take the elevator up to the cinema on the 6th floor of the mall, and be seated and watching a movie in the cinema within 5 mins (provided you don't get lost inside the mall searching for the cinema, as happened to me during my first few times roaming inside the mall).
- a 24hr food street, popular with the locals, is a short 3 mins walk from the mall.
- The HUGE GR Shopping Mall complex is also within 15 walks distance.
Room was advertised as ”without air-conditioning”... yet I booked it, as I was curious and wanted to experience the effect of Kunming's reputed ”Perpetual Spring” climate in a room without aircon.
Room is spacious and has everything expected, except: I can't get any live CCTV news. .. apparently only prerecorded cable news from CCTV2, 3, 5, 6 & 7. Totally NO CCTV1 news, even pre-recorded ones!
The elevator reach upto level 15, and my room is located on level 16 (where morning breakfast is served), so I need to climb up/down one level via the staircase.
The included breakfast is very typical, local Chinese noodle plus various condiments ... and is only available between 7-9 am.
As my departure flight is late at night, I was able to do late checkout for a few hours at ¥20 per hour. 👍🙂
