The receptionist in charge spoke English well and helped clarify several misunderstandings regarding the hotel policy, as one point differed from what was stated on the Trip.com page (regarding the number of guests). Unfortunately, the stove in the kitchen did not work when we arrived, and the staff mentioned that it was not intended for use by default, which was quite disappointing. However, the staff’s polite and courteous behavior toward us was an excellent point that helped compensate for these shortcomings. Also, the location was very convenient, as it was close to Daiso, a bus stop, and a train station.

In terms of value for money, the hotel is decent. The interior is pleasant and modern; it seems new, but it is no longer perfectly clean. In my room, for example, the toilet seat cover was taped with duct tape, there were splashes on the walls in some places, and stains on the ceiling. However, the rooms are cleaned well, towels are changed every day, and if you ask not to be disturbed, they leave everything you need in a basket outside your room. The hotel is very conveniently located for a short visit to Busan (up to 3-4 days), close to the train station and between the main attractions (it takes about the same amount of time to get to each direction). The trains were not audible in the room, and overall the hotel is quite quiet. I had a spacious room where I could open my suitcase normally, but there was still not enough storage space (at least more hangers for clothes are needed). There are also no cutlery in the room, which is a minus. There is a clothes styler - something like a steaming closet, which turned out to be convenient, as I didn't need an iron. The pool area is relaxing, you can take beautiful photos, and the water is warm. I didn't like the breakfasts. On weekdays, they are served à la carte, the selection is modest, and the coffee is not tasty. There are many coffee shops and cafes around the hotel, so it's better to go there. I was very surprised that upon check-in, they asked for a deposit of 100,000 won (or a card). In 10 years of active travel, I have never encountered this anywhere in hotels especially without notification.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful and clean room. Loved the balcony and bathtub. Would have liked local food options for breakfast and stronger coffee, but overall, ver enjoyable stay. Thank you!

Bu otel, Haeundae İstasyonu'nun 5 veya 7 numaralı çıkışlarının hemen yanında, güzel bir Haeundae semtinde yer almaktadır. Odalar geniştir; oturma odası, mutfak ve çamaşır deterjanlı çamaşır makinesi mevcuttur. Hem oturma odası hem de odaların denize bakan terasları vardır. Alt katta birçok restoran var ve Lee's Fried Chicken'ı şiddetle tavsiye ederim; orijinal kızarmış tavuk inanılmaz lezzetli. Busan'ı tekrar ziyaret ettiğimde kesinlikle bu otelde kalacağım.

Located at a strategic location , nearby Haeundae Beach Lots of f&b nearby, walking distance as well Hotel is clean and staff are friendly Only downside is the room be extremely stuffy at times as the air conditioning does not work. The staff accommodated me with a portable AC/Fan to help with the situation. Other than that, overall no other complaints.

This was my second time staying in a hotel apartment. The apartment is excellent, located in a 21-story chic building with 'URBANSTAY' clearly displayed on the building's front door, making it easy to spot. It’s situated on the main road in a vibrant commercial area filled with office buildings, stores, restaurants, and cosmetic clinics. Check-in is self-service, as is luggage drop-off before the official check-in time, just like other hotel apartments. Be sure to read the instructions carefully and locate the correct apartment rooms, as another hotel apartment GemStay, is located on the same floor. My room was comfortable and well-equipped, featuring a double bed, a private bathroom, a flat-screen TV, and a floor-to-ceiling window with a table and 2 chairs. A small kitchen with 2 stovetops and a sink, a washing machine, and a large fridge, but I kept things simple and just used the kettle for boiling water. P.S. The wall-mounted heating control and AC remote took me a while to figure out. Thankfully, the staff was quick to respond to my messages and guide me through it.

Restoranda sevimli ve kibar bir Güneydoğu Asyalı kız var. Ancak oda temizliği gerçekten kötü. Banyodaki şampuan şişesinden sarı bir şey çıktı, yatak takımlarında sarı lekeler vardı ve balkon hiç temizlenmedi. Çıplak ayakla yürümeyi seviyorsanız balkondan uzak durun!

The hotel doesn’t have a restaurant or gym, but there are plenty of cafes and convenience stores nearby to make up for it. Housekeeping was thorough and respectful. My room was cleaned daily, and towels and toiletries were replenished without needing to request anything. Location: This is arguably one of the hotel’s strongest points. It’s just a short walk from a nearby subway station, which made commuting to places like Haeundae Beach, Jagalchi Market, and Gwangalli very easy. There are also tons of restaurants, bars, and local shops within walking distance. Whether you’re into street food or want to try Busan’s famous seafood, you’ll find great options nearby. If you’re into nightlife, there’s also plenty happening in the area, but thankfully, the hotel itself remains peaceful at night. Staff & Hospitality: Every staff member I interacted with was polite and eager to help. While not everyone was fluent in English, they made an effort to assist with directions, transportation tips, and even helping me book a cab using local apps. Their hospitality made the stay feel much warmer and more personal than I expected. Overall Impression: Hotel Elephant may not be a five-star hotel, but it delivers more than what you’d expect from its price point. It’s clean, cozy, and well-located—perfect for solo travelers, couples, or even friends on a budget-friendly getaway. If you’re visiting Busan and want a reliable place to stay that offers good value without compromising on comfort, this hotel is a solid pick. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Busan.
