"I stayed here 4 nights before and after the Salkantay trek. The first 4 nights were in a studio room which is very nicely decorated with plants and flowers, the last 4 nights were in a double room with a view of the city. I enjoyed my stay in both. The checkout was very easy, I left the key and bags in my room when I left at 4.30am for the salkantay trek, and when I returned, I was immediately brought to my new room with my bags already inside, which felt really nice after a tiring 5 days. The breakfast was nice, had fresh papaya or orange juice. The location was great as well, just about 5 min walk down to the main square (about 10min up) and the first 2 streets from the main square have police officers around which made me feel safer. Also many cafe and restaurants in the streets around it. I was having diarrhoea and feeling unwell on my last day and was grateful that I could check out later to have a longer rest."

"This venue was perfect. In the high altitude of Cusco, there isn’t a better option! No stairs or high hills to climb to get to this hotel and it’s only a 5 minute walk to the plaza d’armas! It’s perfect. The old architecture and design is so cool! The bed was comfy, bathroom updated, it’s a great place! We wish we knew about this place for our initial stay in Cusco!"

"Recommend take uber or taxi to locale. The walk from Plaza Armas is approx 6 minutes but hilly and traffic both foot + car traffic is heavy. The hotel is an uphill climb as is all of the city. The doors open to a small court yard. To your left and right are schools. Just walk straight on and ring the door buzzer. They buzz the door open very promptly. If the court yard door is closed there is a door buzzer reachable from the sidewalk. Breakfast is made to order eggs, bread, good coffee + 3 types of juice. Owner + family are friendly + helpful. Room had a kettle + temperature control. Family speaks english. Enjoyed my stay."

"I had a great stay at X.O Art House! The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the location is perfect ,close to everything yet quiet and relaxing. I really appreciated the small sink, microwave, and pantry in the room, very handy after a long hike or on a rainy day. The staff were amazing and went out of their way to help, especially with my late checkout. Highly recommend!"

MMisafir KullanıcıThis hotel is centrally located within walking distance to the markets & main plaza. The beds are comfortable. Rooms with king bed are small. The courtyard is nice. The breakfast was average to below average. The internet is free but intermittent at best. There is a nightclub nearby which plays loud music until 3:30am which makes it really difficult to sleep. The reason I'm giving this hotel a 3 star is because of the excellent service we received from Oscar Silva Casafranca. He was courteous, efficient and always pleasant & smiling. He helped with our baggage & was quick to answer any questions or queries we had. He's a huge asset to this hotel.

SS_KKThe rooms were clean and comfortable with a storage heater and hot shower. About 10 minutes walk to the main square. However, when we arrived it was a little strange for us when the receptionist said that we didn't have a booking there even though we had and I had the confirmation receipt to show him. He wasn't responsive until I called Trip.com online service, and then he continued looking and said that he actually found it, so maybe be aware of this happening when you arrive. It was also a little strange that after they checked us in, we had a lot of luggage and staff showed us to the rooms that were quite a walk away and up one set of stairs and two sets of elevators, that they didn't help with anything of the bags. We only noticed this as we had much better service in other hotels in Cusco.

VVirgilio MThis is a very nice Air B&B type accomodation. This accomodation is centrally located in Cusco walking distance to most attractions in Cusco, specifically the Casco Antigo Old Town and San Pedro market. The accomodation is very clean and new. They allowed me to leave and keep my suitcase when I went to Machu Picchu for a couple of days. Atenas cooked us breakfast every morning. The hotel is also very close to Peru Rail Train Station to take a bus to Ollantaytanbo. It is also very convenient tour pickup location for bus excursion to Sacred Valley. Overall, I had a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Location wise - it’s very central with a PeruRail office next door albeit the other ones are not too far. Reception is 24hr and there is a nice courtyard with a restaurant as well as a common area with a kitchen at the back. I stayed in the Teepee tent on both occasions; first time the rate was more affordable at around gbp40/night. In July, the night gets cold. But the tent does have additional blankets and a heater. This worked except on the last night as it seems it stopped in middle of the night. Without the heater, the room was quite cold. The common bathroom is at the back; the showers are ok and you get enough privacy. I noticed the hot water does take a while to come through. I left the baggage in the storage - no issues. Overall good but for same price bracket I would try somewhere else.

MMrs Kaye TanWe didn’t hesitate to stay again after our Machu Picchu tour. Same hospitality and service were offered to us. We always have hot water for drinking in our room which is a plus since we love drinking tea which helps in soothing out dry itchy throat due to the altitude. The breakfast was delish and the bed is comfortable! Highly recommended!

It is in a great central location, within walking distance to the various plazas with shopping and restaurants. My room was great - clean and comfortable with a kitchenette and private bathroom. Alex was an INCREDIBLE host - he was so attentive and responsive and gave me some excellent recommendations for things to do and see and restaurants to eat at. I was able to store my luggage after check out on my last day since I had an evening flight and Alex helped hail a taxi for me to ensure a fair price and safe ride.

KK TravelsLet me start with the positives, stylish design, exactly like the pics advertised, from entering the hotel to the resting area to the balcony to the room, all very nice. But you need to be ready for the stairs if you not getting here by car, going out and coming back from the square, especially if you have luggage or backpack, everyone arriving here were out of breath. The bathroom has odor coming up from the pipe, which is normal for house this old, if you are okay with it. I was in room 201, sound proof does not exist, can hear car passing, dog barking, guests coming back from partying at night, tourists cheering & leaving hotel for trips at 3:30am, didn’t get much sleep. Most disappointing thing was hot water, I arrived in the afternoon climbing up the stairs, was hoping to have a quick shower before heading out for dinner, stood in the bathroom waited 5mins for hot water, was told be staff hot water was out they are trying to fix, came back after drinks, still no hot water, was very late so didn’t call staff, tried to have a shower before check out at 7am, hot water was still not available after another good 5mins standing in the shower… sigh

No soap provided on my last day. Also the hotel staff asked me to pay additional $55.00 as they don’t seem to have record of my arrival to Peru and I have come illegally to Peru.. I have to argue about it and finally they found my arrival details. Breakfast is fantastic and cleanliness is good as well.. Apart from minor issues it is good..near to all amenities .

IIURII OBLIKOVВ целом отель неплохой для Куско, маленькая комнатка, маленькое окошко, очень маленький санузел, не обогревается, нет питьевой воды, тапочек, но ставлю 5 за чистоту, за расположение, и за то, что отель новый. Когда мы там жили, стоимость составляла 90$ за ночь без завтрака. Для такой стоимости нормально. Но когда мы уехали на 2 дня и вернулись обратно, стоимость составляла уже 180$ за ночь, что для данного отеля просто невообразимо. Прожив неделю в Куско, стало понятно, что цена и качество не только для данного отеля но и для других большая проблема! Цены ставят высокие, а сервиса предоставляют минимум!
