"We literally walked into a “time travel” place back to ancient house equipped with modern facilities, the host was extremely courteous, friendly and very helpful too, they led and help us with our luggage from where were dropped off by Didi driver the nearest point before the pedestrian street of the ancient town starts. The hotel is located with the ancient town and a short walk from the famous 金馬Square at where modern buzzing commercial centres located in Kunming. Good place to stay for the experience of an ancient “house” with good breakfast, facilities and friendly host."

"A fuss free hotel for just a night's stay in KM before returning home. The room was clean and sufficient amenities provided. Staff were nice and helpful. However, the AC was central controlled so we couldn't adjust the temp according to our needs. Room became very hot and stuffy at night on a winter night and air was very stale. The location is near school and markets which gives you a glimpse of the locals' lives. Great location that gets us to many places in 10-15mins, like Cuihu Park."

The front desk staff were friendly and welcoming, and they kindly showed us the room with the bathtub, which immediately confirmed our decision to extend our stay for another night. "Enjoyed three nights in this hotel in the two bedroom room. Staff are obliging. Breakfast was ok and we appreciate that the whole breakfast is Qingzhen/halal. They also allowed late checkout till 2pm for my case, which I extended further by an hour by paying a small fee. It helps as our flight was much later. Luggage Storage is free. Just use Google Translate to communicate with them for your needs. Everything feels new and clean. It's like 3 min walk to To he MixC Mall. Everywhere else, we Didi or if you are feeling adventurous, you can take local bus to JinMaFang or Shunchengjie in front of the mall. My only issue with toilets ( in China ) is there is no bidet."

"We arrived at 2am at Kunming Changshui Airport and driver had already sent me a WeChat msg asking to let him know after we collected our baggage. For travelers visiting Kunming for the first time, it’s best to let hotel know in advance that you need airport pickup one day in advance. We did that and it was seamless for us. The check-in was fast and the room was clean and quiet. It is common that guests could smoke in the rooms and this is something we are not quite used to. Overall, I’ll still give a big thumbs up for those considering to try out this hotel!"

OOzb00mHighly recommended for short stay near Kunming airport. For the price I paid, the CP is very high. Location is great, many hotels in the same area hence there are many shops and restaurants to choose from. Though its lobby area and carpet in common area is showing its age a little bit, the room I stayed in is impeccably clean, modern and comfortable. Room size is big, has view, bathroom is also big and water pressure is great. Only inconvenience is the lobby is not reachable directly by car, you will need to go down a few short steps to reach it. It is a small inconvenience considering it is a great value.

The room was spotless, well-maintained, and felt very cozy, giving us great peace of mind. The hotel’s strategic location made it easy to get around and access nearby attractions. Breakfast was enjoyable with a good variety, fresh food, and pleasant presentation. Overall, it was a relaxing and satisfying stay, and we would definitely recommend Babymoon Hotel to others.

KKatie_catsThis is a unique hotel that offers healing therapy classes that comes along with the accommodation package. I’ve attended the sound bath therapy class at 1pm and felt somewhat relax after the session. Throughout the day, we had a lot of rest in our room and can hear singing bowl music from outside in the late evening til night. For maximum relaxation, I booked a room that provides aroma diffuser and essential oil to promote good sleep. Room has Xiao Du AI to help with curtains opening/closing, weather forecast, news, alarm setting and music playing! Unfortunately we were unable to enjoy watching shows on projector screen as the projector seems to be faulty. We initially thought its just dead battery in remote control but after changing to new battery provided by the hotel staff, the ceiling projector still fails to turn on. We gave up troubling the staff and rest instead since our flight is late midnight. Breakfast is wide spread and offers both western and local food option. I like their porridge and it’s a good change from having daily Mi Xian from other hotels. They also offer special jujube type of fruits that I’ve never tasted before. In addition, they also offer afternoon tea buffet starting from 2pm which you can help yourself if you are still staying in the hotel during the afternoon. The only alarming thing is, we left the hotel with “Do not disturb” red light on + hang “do not disturb” tag on the door, but was shocked to see our room was tidied when we came back in the evening. China hotels do not seem to have safety box option as basic amenities, so we prefer not to get our room tidied but thankfully nothing valuable was lost. We didn’t tell the hotel since nothing was lost and our stay was short anyways. Overall, the staff service attitude is friendly and good but I hope they can respect customer’s privacy. If customer do not wish the room to be cleaned, please do not enter the room.

Ggim siong gohWe enjoyed our stay here a lot! First we were upgraded from a Queen suite to a King suite when we arrived late at night. Our room was lovely, huge, clean and comfortable. Appreciate the separate desk for journaling, and mini kitchen area, microwave and fridge, with option to request utensils if necessary. Breakfast buffet was a full spread with local and international options, we loved the freshly prepared on request cantonese porridge. We especially want to appreciate the young lady who waited on us at breakfast on 7th, 8th and 9th December morning at the buffet. She was very attentive, pointed out various items we might want to try, and even packed a few rose flower cake for me to take along when I said I liked it. She also gave us ideas of where to go in Kunming, and made our breakfast and stay very special. Kudos to her! We also ordered some online deliveries and the front desk lady on 9th December evening helped to round up our packages (which had been delivered to carpark, guards, etc) with a smile. We will definitely stay again and recommend this hotel to our friends!

MMomotinggggWe had a great stay at Four Points by Sheraton Kunming Dongfeng Square. The staff were helpful and even upgraded us to a bigger sunshine room, which was a nice surprise. We managed to do our laundry easily before we departed to airport, it was really convenient and hassle free, The breakfast was tasty with a good mix of options and overall, the room is clean, comfortable and welcoming. It was just what we needed to recharge before we back home.

BbluejadeStaff: The hotel staff is attentive amazing n superb. Even though they cant converse in english, we communicate thru google translate and they can attend to our concerns and give fast response. They go through extra mile to answer all your queries. While in the room we converse via trip.com platform Hotel room: New Beautiful clean smart house loft. All 2 rooms are on the 2nd level. Fit my family of 4 adults. Each bedroom has 1 double bed which is big can fit 2 medium sized adults. 1st level has a toilet and big sofa can use as bed too. Night view is nice when all the buildings infront lighted up. 2 tvs one on 1st level and second one at the main bedroom. All are chinese programmes. It be good if the hotel can have some english speaking programmes or movies. Unit comes with washing machine but not dryer. There is a self serving laundry at 26th floor for guest use that comes with ironing facilities, dryer and washing machine. Location: There are few malls around but we didnt have time to explore all. Visit Laoyuhue wetland park (20mins drive). It was crowded but huge park. everyone has space for photoshoots and photography. Beautiful lake and yellow trees with seagulls. Took lots of pictures here. We went to visit Kunming Chenggong huihuiying mosque(20mins car ride) and meet the friendly muslim community there. We tried the flavorful muslim local beef noodles. Bought big bag of delicious caramel popcorn from a streetvendor. Amenities: At level b1 has a huge new supermarket. U cn get ur groceries here. Complimentary drop off The hotel was nice to provide us a free drop off to Kunming South railway( 15mins drive). Its not a normal car. In fact its the inhouse limousine for inhouse guest. Amazing. Note: the lift is a shared lift with other tenants and other hotel guests. Jun’an hotel units are on the top floor 26th and 27th floor
