"Prima schoon hotel met vriendelijk personeel. Alleen niet al het personeel achter de balie heeft de kennis die je zou mogen verwachten. Een strijkbout en plank zouden er volgens een jongeman niet zijn, terwijl een vrouwelijke collega deze zonder moeite tevoorschijn haalde. In eerste instantie hadden wij kamer 101. Als je die toegewezen krijgt is ons advies om zo snel mogelijk om een andere kamer te vragen. Kamer 101 is klein, heeft geen opberkasr maar een kledingrek en ligt aan de kant van het hotel waar je het verkeerslawaai van Napels hoort. We kregen kamer 306 en deze was zeker prima. Iedere keer als wij verzochten om de kamer schoon te maken werd dit keurig uitgevoerd. Het ontbijt is overigens ook prima, maar de cappuccino vonden wij niet echt geweldig"

"Everything about our stay was easy and in many cases, better than we expected. The breakfast staff were so accommodating and the roof terrace needs to be spoken about more.... it's beautiful! The reception staff were also excellent and no request was too much for them. The room and hotel in general were very clean and the room we had was nice, clean and spacious. If we had to be picky about one thing, we'd have liked the towels to be changed more regularly. But that didn't cause us any issues. We'd love to return again!"

"Es war ein gelungener Aufenthalt! Tolle Lage in der Nähe aller relevanten Fixpunkte (Bus, Bahn, Metro, Flughafen Bus, Altstadt, etc)… nur mit dem Auto sollte man nicht anreisen - Parken ist limitiert und teuer. Die Unterkunft war geräumig, komfortabel, sauber, gut ausgestattet und man hatte zu jeder Zeit einen Ansprechpartner. Auch einen tollen Stadtführer gab es per PDF dazu!  Nach dem C/O konnte man das Gepäck noch bis zum Abflug lagern und war somit bis zum letzten Moment ungebunden und flexibel. Gerne eine dicke Empfehlung!"

"Staff are excellent, the room is super clean and comfortable but lacks some basic amenities such as a kettle / complimentary bottled water, iron and a few basics. The location near the station can be a little rough but it wasn’t a problem for me but maybe I won’t recommended it for inexperienced travellers. Overall still good value for money"

"Purtroppo stavolta sono rimasto deluso. Avevo prenotato una Camera Superior ma quando sono arrivato in camera con mia sorpresa non c'era la scrivania. Quando sono andato in reception per chiedere se quella fosse una camera Superior mi dicono di sì. Ma alla mia domanda ”come mai non ci fosse la scrivania”, mi sento rispondere che può ”capitare”. E che nelle Superior XL avrei trovato la scrivania. Il tutto mi è sembrato assurdo. Mi hanno chiesto alle 20.30 se volevo cambiare camera ma non ho accettato visto che sarei partito l'indomani. Posso dire solo che bisogna fare più attenzione e non dare risposte così superficiali."

"There is no private parking; if you're driving, you'll need to park at the nearby carpark and walk your luggage over. The main entrance of the hotel is in a narrow street that is dark and a bit dirty, and the hotel lobby is tiny. But the rooms are decent size and well appointed, and the free breakfast is in a beautiful historic hall with high ceilings. Location is great, under 20 minute walk to the ferry pier."

"This suite (or rather a room) is centrally located on Via Toledo. It is safe as there are multiple guards in the building. It’s a mix of local residents and Airbnb-type of accommodation. The place is quite funky as it features a huge bath tub in the living room, with the view over Via Toledo! (We never used it.) There’s a reception person during the day but you can arrange the key outside regular hours. It’s easy to communicate with the suite and they are helpful in giving tips re: parking or restaurants. A very good option if you need a place to stay in Napoli."

RRip RipWe booked feeling a little nervous as we read the various reviews but also hesitated with little experience of a B&B Guest house. There seemed very few choices in Naples ( Chiaia district) a prime , safer area ; to have a suite with some kitchenette and a very reasonable price. We were warmly welcomed to our studio suite, spacious , well organised with a lot of thought in the location of design of fixtures and furniture; seating to take breakfast, working desk and or relax on the sofa. Brightly lit room with big “can open” sound proof windows or option to use the air conditioning system . Views of the nearby residential apartments actually helped us feel at home ( even though we were not able to enjoy the Naples sea view) Bed, mattress , linen and pillows were fine ( for those who require more specific finer finishes should not go to a Guest house) Bathroom was practical and had all that one needed, with hand held shower and rain shower installed. Kitchenette had electric stove , coffee maker, kettle , Fridge and utensils. Again sufficient for a 4 night stay. Any longer an oven or toaster would have been nice to heat up bread. The highlight worth mentioning, as most reviews have , is Massimo who helped us with recommendations, guided us with a local map, booked day tour to Pompeii, our taxi and so much more.. Honestly, for those of us who have been lucky to stay in 5 star hotels will know that you don’t always get this type of discreet professional reliable hospitality that Massimo has shown us. If you don’t mind staying at a guest house which may sound daunting , or that the entrance of the building may be slightly off the side street but having read this review will reassure you that the 24 hours security guards and the gated premises made it feel like a home away from home. Thank you Massimo and team for keeping our room super clean , daily when we really didn’t expect the service. Likewise appreciated the small touches of receiving disposable raincoats in case of heavy rain on our tour.

GGayatri GallowayBang in the heart of not just the charming old centre but right on the block where the street partying takes place till the early mornings of the weekends. But no noise pollution due to the small boutique hotel being on the (very high!) fourth floor of the old building that has its entrance in the courtyard off the street. We traveled with our two sons (17 and 10) and it worked but wouldn’t stay with our younger daughters there due to the unconventionality of the accommodation: No public areas or services, just straight up rooms (only six of them all in the one corridor off the reception) which are fitted in modern and marbled design. Room no 3 is spacious with a nice four poster bed, no 1 is less so but both still had room for a bidet in the all tiled bathrooms which has an LED light feature in the shower! Both also have a French balcony: from room 3 you can view the Vesuvius Mountain. Theres a price listed minibar and my husband really liked the mattress Reception is not 24h but communication was very good and personal through WhatsApp. I was looking forward to the roof terrace but it was bare and unused serving merely as a panorama lookout point. Not to worry, the most important thing for us was that the hotel was clean and had some form of luxury for the night we stayed in Napoli!

MMarcos 305We recently stayed at the Hotel Royal Continental in Naples from January 7 to January 9, 2025, and our overall experience was very positive. Location & Safety The hotel is located in one of the safest and most touristic areas of Naples, right on Via Partenope, facing the sea and Castel dell'Ovo. Naples, as a city, is still evolving into a true tourist destination. The city is making significant improvements to attract more visitors, and you can feel that transition happening. This particular area where the hotel is located feels very safe, thanks to continuous police presence. We saw officers patrolling on foot and by car at all hours of the day and night, which gave us peace of mind. The neighborhood is also filled with excellent restaurants offering a wide range of quality food at reasonable prices. Of course, not every place is great, but there are many good options within walking distance. Additionally, the historic center and most major tourist attractions are within walking distance from the hotel. You can take a leisurely stroll and reach the main sights in under an hour. Room & Comfort The seafront location of the hotel is outstanding. The view from our room was beautiful, and we loved opening the panoramic window to let in the fresh sea breeze in the morning and evening. It’s a wonderful way to start and end your day. The room itself was comfortable and well-maintained, with a level of luxury comparable to a 4-star European hotel. However, it's important to note that European hotel standards are different from those in the U.S.. By American standards, this hotel would be closer to a 3-star property. Despite this, the housekeeping staff did a great job cleaning the room daily and replacing towels. Service & Atmosphere The hotel staff is professional and polite, but interactions felt a bit robotic and mechanical. It seemed like they were following routines rather than making genuine connections with guests. That said, room cleanliness was good, and we appreciated the attention to detail in that regard. One thing that stood out is the hotel’s nostalgic 1950s vibe. The hotel seems proud of its mid-century charm, which they promote through signs and advertisements around the property. If you enjoy that type of retro atmosphere, you’ll appreciate this hotel. Breakfast Experience The breakfast at the hotel was excellent. The dining room overlooks the sea, which makes for a lovely breakfast setting. There are several breakfast stations with a wide variety of options, and the food quality was great. Waiters clean the tables and take care of guests throughout breakfast service, which adds a nice touch. We were very satisfied with the overall breakfast experience. Final Thoughts Overall, Hotel Royal Continental is a solid choice for staying in Naples. The location is its biggest strength, offering stunning views, proximity to restaurants, and easy access to the historic center. it provides a comfortable and memorable experience with beautiful sea views and a nostalgic atmosphere. EEileen ChengWe stayed at Gram Suites for 4 nights. The location is very convenient—about a 10-minute walk from the metro/train station and just a few minutes from the bus stop to the city center, which made getting around Naples really easy for us. Max, the host, is incredibly friendly and helpful. We really appreciated his warm hospitality and quick responses to any questions we had. The room itself is cleaned daily, which is a nice hotel touch, but the overall vibe feels a bit more like a hostel or Airbnb: cozy and casual rather than super polished. There were a couple of issues during our stay (sorry Max, we were too shy to mention these in person): Noise: The room is close to a road, so it can get quite noisy at night. If you are sensitive to noise like my friend, I would definitely recommend bringing earplugs (she could barely sleep) Mosquitoes: We had quite a few mosquitoes in the room and ended up killing 1–2 every day. Despite using mosquito spray, both my friend and I got bitten several times. Strangely, we didn’t have this problem anywhere else in Naples.

JJelisavetaStaying at Domis Vesuvio in Naples was one of the best travel decisions we’ve made. The location, just a short walk from the main bus station, made getting around the city incredibly easy. The property looked exactly like the photos — clean, modern, and extremely comfortable. What truly sets this place apart is the staff, they all helped us fell like we were home. Sara and Ginevra are some of the warmest and most helpful people we’ve ever met while traveling. They were always available, ready to answer any question, and genuinely eager to help with anything we needed. The restaurant downstairs where breakfast is served was another highlight of our stay. The food was absolutely delicious, the portions generous, and the prices very reasonable. The wine they serve is excellent and pairs perfectly with the dishes. The overall value for money far exceeded our expectations. We honestly cannot imagine staying anywhere else in Naples. Next time we visit, we won’t even look for another accommodation — we’ll simply wait until this one is available. Highly, truly recommended.

ВВиталий ОреховОтель вызвал противоречивых чувства)). Положительное: Удобное расположение в центре города, близко к метро и достопримечательностям. Рядом супермаркет.В номере чисто. Что не понравилось: квест с заселением ( в принципе, всё понятно объяснено, какое кнопки, но нужно пройти 3 закрытых дверей). Расположение кондиционера под окном и за шторкой)). Слышимость от соседнего номера, а именно из туалета ( будто бы у тебя в комнате). И главное - ни утром, ни вечером не было горячей воды, только днём. Поехал бы я снова в этот отель, думаю нет
