"We recently stayed at the Hotel Royal Continental in Naples from January 7 to January 9, 2025, and our overall experience was very positive. Location & Safety The hotel is located in one of the safest and most touristic areas of Naples, right on Via Partenope, facing the sea and Castel dell'Ovo. Naples, as a city, is still evolving into a true tourist destination. The city is making significant improvements to attract more visitors, and you can feel that transition happening. This particular area where the hotel is located feels very safe, thanks to continuous police presence. We saw officers patrolling on foot and by car at all hours of the day and night, which gave us peace of mind. The neighborhood is also filled with excellent restaurants offering a wide range of quality food at reasonable prices. Of course, not every place is great, but there are many good options within walking distance. Additionally, the historic center and most major tourist attractions are within walking distance from the hotel. You can take a leisurely stroll and reach the main sights in under an hour. Room & Comfort The seafront location of the hotel is outstanding. The view from our room was beautiful, and we loved opening the panoramic window to let in the fresh sea breeze in the morning and evening. It’s a wonderful way to start and end your day. The room itself was comfortable and well-maintained, with a level of luxury comparable to a 4-star European hotel. However, it's important to note that European hotel standards are different from those in the U.S.. By American standards, this hotel would be closer to a 3-star property. Despite this, the housekeeping staff did a great job cleaning the room daily and replacing towels. Service & Atmosphere The hotel staff is professional and polite, but interactions felt a bit robotic and mechanical. It seemed like they were following routines rather than making genuine connections with guests. That said, room cleanliness was good, and we appreciated the attention to detail in that regard. One thing that stood out is the hotel’s nostalgic 1950s vibe. The hotel seems proud of its mid-century charm, which they promote through signs and advertisements around the property. If you enjoy that type of retro atmosphere, you’ll appreciate this hotel. Breakfast Experience The breakfast at the hotel was excellent. The dining room overlooks the sea, which makes for a lovely breakfast setting. There are several breakfast stations with a wide variety of options, and the food quality was great. Waiters clean the tables and take care of guests throughout breakfast service, which adds a nice touch. We were very satisfied with the overall breakfast experience. Final Thoughts Overall, Hotel Royal Continental is a solid choice for staying in Naples. The location is its biggest strength, offering stunning views, proximity to restaurants, and easy access to the historic center. it provides a comfortable and memorable experience with beautiful sea views and a nostalgic atmosphere. Would we stay here again? Yes, for the views, location, and breakfast!"

"I stayed in a completely new and spotlessly clean room—not far from Naples Central Station. The bed was very comfortable, and both check-in and check-out were quick and easy. My room faced a busy street, so it could get a little noisy at times, but that’s something to keep in mind depending on your preferences. Overall, it was a great value for the money and a solid choice for a short stay in Naples."

"Highly recommend it, location is nice near the boulevard and the sea. Breakfast is excellent. Bathroom needs to be cleaned a little bit better. Also, there is a terrace on the photo but we did not see it."

"Purtroppo stavolta sono rimasto deluso. Avevo prenotato una Camera Superior ma quando sono arrivato in camera con mia sorpresa non c'era la scrivania. Quando sono andato in reception per chiedere se quella fosse una camera Superior mi dicono di sì. Ma alla mia domanda ”come mai non ci fosse la scrivania”, mi sento rispondere che può ”capitare”. E che nelle Superior XL avrei trovato la scrivania. Il tutto mi è sembrato assurdo. Mi hanno chiesto alle 20.30 se volevo cambiare camera ma non ho accettato visto che sarei partito l'indomani. Posso dire solo che bisogna fare più attenzione e non dare risposte così superficiali."

Что понравилось: - вид из окна, - высокие потолки создают ощущения пространства - есть чайник, кофемашина и капсулы для кофе - достаточно просторный номер Что не понравилось: - заселение в определенное время, боялись, что из-за задержки рейса можем не успеть. Читали отзывы, что район не совсем благополучный. Старались не ходить по ночам, днём и утром все нормально. Дают талоны на питание в кафе,в котором очень хороший кофе -фото завтрака в кафе прилагаю. Долго изучали жилье в Неаполе перед поездкой, мне показалось, что этот вариант один из самых оптимальных по качеству, местоположению и чистоте номеров. До центра ходили пешком, но можно было и на метро, автобусах. В следующий приезд выберу это же жилье"

"Needed something close to the train station and airport so you’re not gonna be in a Beverly Hills type neighborhood but the hotel was very clean and appears rather new. The staff was excellent and very accommodating. Went out of his way to bring our luggage up to our room. Train station is literally across the street. Lots of places to get food. He arranged for our taxi to take us to the airport. For a short stop in Naples before catching a flight I would recommend. Just wouldn’t go out too late."

"Convenient location in the city centre. Amazing views of the castle at breakfast. Parking is tricky nearby - there’s a garage next door but he cheated us so be careful - we agreed on €15 for overnight and he input €50 on the card terminal and didn’t show me when I tapped my card."
