I stayed in a D-Fourth Non smoking room on the 8th floor. The room has a nice view of Mount Hakodate from the balcony and a view of the port from the bedroom window. Room was clean and there is daily cleaning if you ask for it. Cooking utensils are available though no condiments provided. The bath system is electronic and took a while to figure out how to use it. Room was spacious and adequate for 4 of us. What we loved is that while the dryer did not really dry our clothes (separate washer and dryer), the heater in the room was strong enough to dry them and we could borrow a rack from the hotel to hang them out to dry. Only improvement we would like to suggest - we arrived when it was snowing heavily, and as we moved our luggage into the room the floor became wet and dirtied, we had to clean with tissue as there is no floor cleaner available.would be nice to provide self cleaning tools especially since there is a kitchen and things might spill. And also the balcony did not have any ‘balcony’ shoes so it was just too cold to step outside to enjoy the scenary. Nonetheless, we enjoyed our stay in the hotel. Would choose it again if we go Hakodate.

Super stay at this traditional onsen inn! It’s an easy 5 minutes walk from the tram stop and it is a peaceful and hospitable place to stay. We stayed for 2 nights with breakfast included (you have it in your room, the staff come to roll up your tatami 30 mins before - we just went to the onsen during this time) which was traditional Japanese style and delicious. The onsens are not too big but there are outdoor and indoor sections and perfectly adequate. The staff look after you warmly and we loved our experience of traditional Japanese culture here. Oh, and it’s near the Botanical Gardens where we saw monkeys bathing in the onsen.

I absolutely love Hanabishi Hotel — I had the best 2-night stay here. The hotel is quiet with no large tour groups, and I really enjoyed the traditional feel and relaxing vibes. I tried all of their room types, and my favorite is the futon room with a private onsen. The futon is very comfortable, and the room itself is incredibly spacious. The staff are friendly and helpful, even assisting me with arranging taxi service. The location is convenient, only about a 10-minute drive from Hakodate Airport. I also loved both the breakfast buffet and the dinner set — they truly pampered me like I was the queen of the world. The public onsen is beautiful and huge. I will forever choose to stay here whenever I’m in the area.

La'gent Stay Hakodate Ekimae provided an excellent base for exploring Hakodate. The location is unbeatable—it's incredibly close to JR Hakodate Station, the main bus terminal, and tram stops, making travel seamless. The convenience continues right outside the door, with a variety of food options and a convenience store just steps away, perfect for any need. The hotel's onsen was a true highlight. It was wonderfully relaxing and the perfect way to unwind after a day of sightseeing. The facilities were clean and well-maintained. Combining prime location, great amenities, and a relaxing onsen, this hotel offers outstanding value. I highly recommend La'gent Stay Hakodate Ekimae and would not hesitate to book here again.

Location is good for every spot of hakodate hightlight's place, 5-10 minute walk to every spot. Room is clean and bed is big. I like washing machine that for free and reasonable room price.

This Japanese onsen hotel is new and clean. It’s a good choice of ours as both the hotel spring bath and the room are spacious and environment is quiet and decorated with taste. The breakfast was provided in super nice private rooms and the food was just too good. We highly recommend the hotel to you.

About 10-15mins driving distance from the city center. Parking is located next to it (around 2mins walking distance) where u have to walk through an alley to hotel main door. Perhaps they can install a street light in the alley way or a back door near to parking lots coz it is quite dark and scary to walk alone. Breakfast is lack of variety but acceptable. Other than these, overall is satisfied.

Hotel Enoe Hakodate I recently had a great stay at Hotel Enoe Hakodate and would highly recommend it, especially if you're looking for a convenient and comfortable stopover. It's perfectly situated for a quick stopover, making it easy to access local sights and transportation. I found it to be a great base for exploring the area without any hassle. The room size was surprisingly good. It felt spacious and wasn't cramped at all, giving me plenty of room to relax and organize my things. Finally, the breakfast was a standout feature. It was one of the best hotel breakfasts I've had in a while, with a fantastic variety of delicious options that really hit the spot. Overall, Hotel Enoe Hakodate offers a clean, well-located, and comfortable experience with a fantastic breakfast to boot. It's a solid choice for anyone traveling through the area.

設施還是挺新的，大正和平成兩種風格的温泉各有特色吧，這次住的是大正風格的房間，希望下次有機會可以住住平成風格的。窗外望出去的海景還算ok，畢竟離海邊還有一小段距離。唯一不滿意的是房間內的空調不能調節，室內不開窗的話非常悶熱🥵，我甚至要脱衣服睡覺，室外再冷也應該把室內温度調節的權利交給客人，每個人對温度的體感並不一樣
