"Great location! Few minutes walk from Sendai station and surround with lots of shops, restaurants and department store. There are 7-eleven and Starbucks at the first floor. The room is very nice. Everything is new, clean, with good space for two 28” luggage to open at the same time and we still can walk around the room. The staffs were so nice and provided prompt support. We found problem about the hair dryer at midnight and the staff changed a new one to us immediately. There are free amenities that you could pick at lobby. Highly recommend and would definitely choose this hotel if we have a chance to visit Sendai again 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻"

"This is my second time staying at Hotel Metropolitan Sendai East. The main draw is its location - directly linked to Sendai JR Station and S-PAL mall. I checked in on 1 Jan and almost all shops are closed during to the NY holiday. Luckily Yodabashi next door is opened and there is a food hall there. The tourist Loople Bus is also a few minutes walk from the hotel. Room size is good. What I didn’t like was no place to hang your clothing in the bathroom, though not much issue for me since I’m travelling alone And the toiletries like cotton wool are not replenished on 1 of the 4 nights I was there. Noted: don’t be mistaken with Hotel Metropolitan Sendai (without the East)."

"We booked one room on the first day it seemed like a Japanese bathroom that the floor is wet Probably not renovated yet The next day we got the room with modern bathroom Our stay was pleasant the rooms were clean Thanks to google translate that even the front reception was not quite fluent in English we could communicate very well Very convenient location Right next to the main train station a lot of restaurants to choose from also next to the shopping mall There is a fish market nearby but most of the fish is for your own cooking Can not buy fresh sashimi there There is a seafood restaurant close to the market"

"So this place would get all 5 stars if it wasn't for the parking, though that's an issue in many places in Japan, so maybe don't listen to the foreigner's complaint on that one. :) The service and staff were top notch and the food was varied and good. The bath was nice and it was band-aid friendly, they even had some at the front desk, for those who understand what I mean. The room was clean and comfortable. Will definitely stay here again."

"The lobby was spacious to chill and nice, especially when the in-house pianist played some soothing classical. My room was decently cosy. My bed was a combined layout of 2 single beds, though one mattress was slumping low overworn out on its spring, while the other was firm. Felt kinda weird sleeping in the centre, which I usually do, with the gap and unevenness. Service was excellent and attentive. Kind assistance from front desk Loida, helping me to translate conveying a request I wanted to put across for my next hotel stop. There is a public bath on the 16th floor, nice and clean. Elevator is kinda slow though. Location is under 10mins walk from Sendai JR station, on a quiet stretch away from the bustling shopping area."

"Modern and new hotel located a short walk from Sendai station and Loople bus stop. Relatively small rooms but comfortable. Particularly enjoyed the separated dry and wet areas in the bathroom with onsen style faucet and tub. Complimentary coffee machine available from 1300-0100 and help yourself to bath amenities available in the lobby."

"Would definitely stay here again after spending 4 nights here. Seems to be a new hotel in a good location in Sendai. It’s less than a ten minute walk from Sendai Station, it’s located even closer to the Subway, just 1 block from shopping arcade, and a few blocks from the Asaiichi market. Hotel room was very spacious for 3 including a 1 year old. Our room was on the 11th floor with a view of the next buildings rooftop. The lights are controlled with a touch screen. Wifi seemed to work well. Good luggage and jacket storage at the entry way. Lots of free amenities in the lobby and you can get 2 bottle of water per day. We did not have breakfast during our stay but the lounge is open from ~2pm to ~9pm and there’s a Starbucks coffee/latte machine. You may also purchase a glass of sake for ¥500 from a machine. The second floor has pay laundry machines, microwave, ice machine, and vending machines. Hotel staff was helpful. They can arrange your luggage to be sent to your next destination. I don’t think there is any added service charge. I had opted for no cleaning when booking to save a little but they still cleaned the room daily. My only complaint is when I asked for a new key because i lost one, the receptionist gave some attitude and said that I should look in my room for it after issuing another key."

"Hotel was relatively new, with quite a bit of eateries nearby, and mitsukoshi right opposite. About 15minutes' walk from sendai station but the metro is just outside the hotel. Basic amenities provided though toothbrush is a bi toot tough/hard for brushing. Stayed 3 nights. Will return again as it is super value for money."

"Location is great. The hotel is just opposite yodobashi south side. Room is quite small which is typical Japanese business hotel. Toilet and shower is in the same room. 7-11 shop just downstairs. Overall is good."
